Maritza was amazing! Surprisingly most relaxing wax I've ever had. Loved my experience here. As you know Brazilian waxes aren't rainbows and unicorns but I do it for the results! Calling to schedule was extremely easy, receptionist was kind and scheduled me within the hour. Let her know I was pregnant and was comforted that it wasn't a problem. It's located behind anytime fitness and wasn't hard to find because of the her detailed directions. Upon arrival I was amazed at how beautiful Smooth as Silk was. Beautiful set up, artwork, hardwood flooring furniture and rooms. My esthetician Maritza was down to earth and amicable. The whole wax was so relaxing which is the first time I've ever said thag I think it was a combination of how she waxed and the wax itself because for not waxing in a long long time this was completely bearable and not very painful at all. What I love about Smooth As Silk most is that their actions speak louder than words. An Aesthetician can talk til they're blue to their face about what you need to do, but the results end up never happening. After almost 2 years of being a loyal patron, the work I have received from the staff has been consistent and rewarding. This team of professionals are awesome, they can make a chimpanzee feel like a movie star. Now they can't make them a movie star but can make you feel like one. If it grows from the nose to the tip of your toes they have a removal for it. Men if you want a ladies input before you do it the professionals here can give you a female aspect before you get it removed. read more

So, have you ever had your eyebrows waxed and teared up from the pain? Yeah, every time that has happened to me EXCEPT for today when I visited Smooth as Silk. It must be the wax they use or the gentle nature of the process, but it was the least painful experience I have had to date. They don't use strips to pull off the wax, but instead just pull off the wax. It is really the best I have had and I have had many experiences with several different places. read more
