We kicked things off with my all-time favorite--the cilantro jalapeño hummus with gluten-free pita. Yum!! I love that they warm the GF pita so it actually feels like the "real" deal...such a small touch that makes a big difference! For my meal, I stuck with my go-to: the chicken shawarma bowl. It never disappoints--gluten-free, super fresh, and packed with bold, delicious flavor in every bite. First time here today. We waiting for 15 minutes along with 4 other groups. Tables were open to be seated and a lot of people were standing while tables were available. I got the Bánh mì which was lacking carrot, daikon and cilantro. Basically a chicken sandwich and I had to ask for extra carrot daikon and cilantro. The quantity on the sandwich that came out was a joke. Jaden our server was very kind, patient and had excellent customer service skills. She was the only thing about this experience that was good. The chai tea was more like milk with sweetener, not real chai. The hummus and pita were good. They were extremely understaffed today and whoever was running things is not doing quality checks on the food. The rice pudding my friend got to go was so watery she just sent it back and got a refund immediately. Ambiance is not as nice as the one in Tempe. I just don't find takeout food from anywhere to be very appealing and as tasty as when eaten at the restaurant. The Gyro was good, but I basically had to eat it with a fork because the pita broke apart in three places. So definitely go enjoy the food at Pita Jungle but beware that takeout has a downside. read more

Tonight's experience at Pita Jungle in Queen Creek was wildly uncomfortable and completely unprofessional. My family of eight was seated at a table when the manager walked by and loudly yelled, 'I thought I told you guys no end cap seating,' deliberately close enough for our entire table to hear. It was humiliating, unnecessary, and instantly set the tone for the night. From that moment on, she continued roaming the restaurant yelling at staff like it was a public performance. We didn't come for dinner theater. The employees looked anxious and beaten down, and the environment felt tense instead of welcoming. No guest should be forced to sit through a power trip disguised as management. We waited about an hour for our meal, with most of that time spent watching chaos instead of enjoying dinner. The food wasn't good enough to justify the wait, and the atmosphere ruined any chance of a positive experience. This manager should absolutely be reported. Restaurants run on leadership, not intimidation. Tonight was a circus, and not the entertaining kind. Blunt truth: the food being bad is forgivable. Bad leadership isn't. That kind of behavior poisons staff and guests in one shot. If they don't fix that, no menu upgrade will save them. read more

Matt was the previous manager of the establishment and has taken a direct role with making sure that the customer experience is excellent. Our server Matt, offered excellent recommendation after husband gave him quick explanation. Matt suggested Chicken Philly Gyro and gave good description of the sauce and other sauces for his side of fries. I enjoyed Chicken Schwarma bowl plus a pita for wrapping up a bite and dipping into hubby's sauces. We both enjoyed our meals and felt it was fair price point for the size and taste of the dishes. Pita Jungle has been one of my favorite restaurants all over the valley for years. But this location has really slipped. We had terrible service the last two times. We almost walked out last time because we were ignored and nobody took our order for a very , very long time. Tonight, we couldn't get refills on our drinks and my chicken dish was awful- one I've had many times before. Get your act together, Pita Jungle, and hire a decent cook!
