But we decided to just look around and see what else was on the lot (not many Class C). Our amazing salesman, Devin mentioned a Minnie Winnie that had just been traded in that was being sold for a MAJOR bargain. We headed to look at it and immediately said "no, that's way too big"...we had discussed lengths for months and decided on the 24ft...this one was 32 ft. But, what the heck, might as well look at it. BIG mistake because we fell in love with it. It's a 2017 Minnie Winnie 31G and LOTS of extras for about $10,000 LESS than the 2022 Freedom Elite we were looking at and after much discussion (and listening to my sister help us decide), we decided to go for it. We brought it home yesterday and are planning our first outing already. Lots to learn because we are first time campers. Devin, Patrick in finance, Pete for our "class on what everything is" and Jacob in parts were outstanding. WOW...they made it so easy and we never felt any pressure to do anything. Can't say enough good about them.

The store was not busy, yet customer service was nearly nonexistent. Retail staff avoided engagement and could not help with a simple request to plug in and test a clearance couch. When I asked multiple times, I was brushed off and eventually told "they're just like that." At checkout, concerns were argued instead of addressed. Sales staff showed no interest when I asked about RVs. I left carrying a large boxed item and my dog, without assistance. Very poor in-store experience. They lost a lot of money from me. Besides the couch, I was looking to buy a generator. Also, just like my retail experiences in Garner, they constantly push and overtalk a Good Sam membership.

After dealing with another place in Apex years ago and the horrible experience we had buying through them, we LOVED dealing with the folks at the Selma Campers Inn! Can't thank Payton enough and James was great as well in assisting with financing and general questions! Ask for Payton if you want a solid experience!!!!

Jim kept in contact via text, just to see if there was anything he could help us in our search. After a few months, Jim contacted me and i had a list of things we wanted in our new camper, and Jim responded with 3 units that fit the bill. Today we visited the dealer again and Jim showed us each unit and answered any questions we had, even made a couple of phone calls to make sure he was giving us the correct information. He allowed us time to look at the campers several times, from one to another, patiently waiting on us to make a decision. The way Jim treated us, we knew that he was the right salesperson and this was the right company. We purchased our new camper from Jim. It was pleasurable experience. Thank you Jim for all the time and knowledge that you shared. Jim did and outstanding job, I would recommend him to anyone who is interesting at looking and learning about campers.

My experience with the Service Department at Shaw RV in Youngsville, NC, has been disappointing. I…read morecontacted Shaw RV for an appointment to inspect my class B Winnebago Rialta before completing the motorhome sale. I called Shaw RV on March 20, 2024, to schedule an appointment to have them check out the RV. They let me know they were busy that week, and Tuesday, March 26, 2024, would be the first available appointment they would have to do their review. I had an appointment to bring the RV to be serviced on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at 8:00 am. Nobody was there until 8:15 am, when Shane arrived that only then that they would have the RV inspected no later than Friday, March 29. That was not conveyed when I set up the appointment, and I was under the understanding it would be checked out while I waited, which was my mistake for thinking it could be done while I waited. Shane took all my information again, and I told him I would return before 5 pm to leave the RV, and he would do his best to get everything done before Friday or, at the latest, by Friday. After calling on Thursday, March 28, to check the progress, I had to leave a message for someone to call me back on their voicemail. I was waiting for someone to return my call. I called again on Friday, March 30, left a message, and again, I was waiting for a return call. I called again on Monday, April 1, and spoke with Paul. He gave me a rundown of how long the diagnostics for each item would take, varying from 30 to 60 minutes, depending on the issue. I asked what this would cost, but I received no answer other than that they would go over everything with me once everything was inspected. Since I had yet to hear back from anyone by 3:07 pm on Tuesday, April 2, I left another voicemail message to call me with an update. Again, no one returned my call by noon on Wednesday, April 3, so I drove to the Service Department and met a gentleman named Alan, who worked part-time there. He was unaware of the status but did find the paperwork on what was being done, although he could not update me on when all inspections would be completed or pricing; other than that, some parts needed to be ordered. Alan said he would call me by the end of the day on Wednesday, April 3, to give me an update. Since I have not received a call, I called at 4:38 pm on Wednesday since the shop closes at 5 pm in hopes of getting an update. Again, no one answered my call, and I had to leave another message for someone to call me back. I'll add updates, but I am very frustrated at this point. My potential buyer has been patient, but I must find out how long that will last. I intend to sell this RV with any known repairs that may be needed before completing the sale so I can convey the condition and perform repairs or provide credit to let the new owners complete any work.

I've had issues with a leak around my commode. I've taken it to a few other places to have this issue just placed a damn (trying to keep it G rated) Band-Aid on it. But Country Roads RV Center, their service team kicked that toilets butt. ( G rating ) I had to take in once and it stopped leaking for a little bit but their service tech finally found the problem the second time around! And you want to talk about quick! They got to the problem and THEN I made them fix a few "other issues" I needed help with. And!!! Installed a new kitchen faucet all in one day! Camping world would have taken a days to get this all done! Sorry Camping World. I think I've found another place to get this and that repair or fixed. Hey I just did a review for Camping World too! Their staff took me in and were so sweet and kind to me, an old veteran lady! I know I'll be back. And guys! The kitchen faucet looks amazing It really ties the room together! If you know where the quote came from you're cool and we just became best friends! Thank you again Service and Parts! It was a great experience! I wish you could work on the chassis of a mobile home, but HEY we can't all be perfect!! Jenny G. Prices were fair. Wanted to add that too. Later Dudes!

I was told the work would be 2 weeks out, and I would get a call with any needed work at that point, months before our trip, was perfectly fine - or so I thought . After 3 weeks, I called them, and the tire estimate was double what Discount Tire quoted, and they said I needed a new slide motor. They then ordered it, with an ETA of 2-3 days. After nearly two full months of status updates of "next week", the trailer was still not ready. Estimated completion times came & went, and many weeks later, two days before our vacation, they explained the parts ordered were "wrong" and they would get right on it. I only received updates whenever I initiated contact, which never came to pass. This caused us to cancel a long-planned vacation -- and lose our non-refundable deposit in the process. This experience was not only frustrating but also costly. I have no problem paying premium repair rates and higher tire prices when the work is done correctly, but six weeks late is a bit much. On top of all that, they simply glared at me wordlessly when I finally picked it up and had no further explanations or even an apology when I picked the camper up several weeks late. Just told me the total. To add insult to injury, the owner replied with a fictitious story & timeline, leaving out the fact that I brought in on 6/10/25 primary the tires, bearings, and a mechanical inspection, and specifically mentioned the slide blowing breakers. After I checked in on the 7/11/25 (over a month later) did anyone mention the motor, and said the ETA was 2-3 days, and that work would be done in a day. From that point on, I called for any further updates. Every call was 2-3 days, until we missed our checkin date - otherwise, we WOULD have picked it up.
