After recently moving to Denver, I was looking for a nail studio in my neighborhood and decided to try Snappy Nails because of its proximity to my apartment. I was very impressed and satisfied with the deluxe pedicure ($40). The massage, hot stones, exfoliation were all worth the deluxe upgrade. We were also walk-in's on a Sunday and they promptly got us in. Excellent service and atmosphere! read more

Made an appointment for 3:30. Arrived and they told me to come back at 4pm. I came back at 4 and still had to wait Update- the manager reached out and apologized. They were very sweet and offered a discount for the inconvenience. They were willing to work with me to get me an appointment and got me seated right when I arrived. read more

When I was there brought in a picture of an easy nail design (a glitter stripe on one nail). Technician was unable to do it. Glitter was everywhere asked her to repaint it solid because could not do the design. Then shellac chipped after three days and I got my nails done to go out of the country for vacation. Where are the good nail places in Denver!?! read more

Absolutely love this place; they are my new favorite salon. You don't really need an appointment if you come earlier during the day. I made sure to call ahead and ask though so I could get understanding of rates as well. It only cost me 35 to refill my acrylic nails and I decided to do the Jelly pedicure since I am on my feet a lot and dance. That cost 55. Normal pedicure cost only 25 though. They have different tiers if you want something in between. I went to Kenny for both and he knew exactly what I was wanting and made sure to give to me. He listened to all my notes and made sure my nails were perfect length and also very thin as well. He also talked to me some as well instead of just talking to others around him. Very nice and will be going back to him. The place is very clean and spacious as well. They have a lot of techs and you are not likely to wait for more than 15 minutes which is nice. I only waited maybe 5 minutes. Be sure to go before 3pm though! After that it may be harder finding parking and it will be a lot busier. read more

I've had good experiences with mani/pedi here but I walked in to get my eyebrows done and my technician was in such a rush. I understood they were busy, so I waited the 25 minutes they stated. When the tech was available, she waxed my eyebrows so fast and completely changed the shape that I'd been working on for a year. Plucked many solid hairs (not just baby hairs), and I was upset by the end. It's likely my fault for walking in at 6pm (peak time), but I really didn't like the rush. Otherwise, nice for a mani/pedi. Don't go for a wax :/ read more

It's unclear how this Nail Salon has a high rating. I have gone here three times and never thought the service provided was that great. Each time I noticed the polish is super watered down, and came off within days. The technician who did my deluxe pedicure burnt me with scalding hot towels and hot stones. She was rushing and didn't have the time to let the towels or rocks cool down. On the positive side they have nice massage chairs and I have always been able to walk in and get into a chair in a short window of time. I kept going back thinking I had an off day, with the high rating. But will be finding another salon. read more

I had a pretty solid experience here. It was neither good nor bad. I felt like they did a fairly good job. It's hard to feel one way or another. It was a pretty average nail salon experience, nothing particularly memorable. Would I come back, sure If I was in the area. Would I go out of my way to go here, meh I don't know about all that. So far, so good! I've only visited once for a gel mani so I can't speak for a variety of technicians, but I am blown away at how my gel mani is still going strong almost 3 weeks later! I am extremely hard on my hands with washing them, picking at things, gardening etc. and I normally start to get chips and peels with a gel mani a week or 2 in. I was on the hunt for a good nail salon in the highlands and saw the amazing reviews for this place and specifically, Maria. So I went on their website and booked an shellac manicure with her. The online booking was super easy and they confirmed my appointment really quick. My manicure itself was great and my nails look the best they have in months! I was excited about getting a pedicure here because of the reviews but my experience was awful. I had an appointment and arrived early. Not a single employee acknowledged me and ignored me when I tried to get their attention. This place is extremely mediocre. I've gotten a couple gel/powder manicures and 2 pedicures here. The pedicures were pretty disappointing. My polish only stayed on for 1-2 weeks while usually it's more like 3 weeks. They barely did any cuticle work (just lightly pressed which didn't do much). Also not a fan of the color selection. The gel manicure I got was actually good, but afterwards they slathered my entire hand with cuticle oil which was kind of messy and gross. Usually places use lotion. The dipping powder set was not good at all. The manicurist was very rushed and it ended up very thick and unnatural looking. I really wanted to like this place because of the convenient location, but after giving it a few chances I will not be back. read more

Weekends are more expensive. Pool: we were told that we have access to the amenities until 8pm. Since our massages were at 6pm and 7pm, we showed up around 4:30pm. But the pool service ends at 5pm so after that we couldn't order any food or drink. There was a towel in the pool and a lot of trash underneath the pool chairs (which you can see if you're in the pool or looking underneath the chairs). So they could do a better job of cleaning up after guests have left the pool area. Massage: great! Just know that a Swedish massage is light to medium pressure. If you need medium or above, book a deep tissue massage. The massage table has warming capabilities and you can choose from oil or shea butter for the massage. Spa: outdated. The spa has 2 showers (1 with an infrared light that did not work), 1 steam room (not really hot), 1 relaxation room (3 reclining chairs), 1 whirlpool, 1 waiting & relaxation room with tea & snacks, and 1 small locker room (which gets cramped). Seems that they overbook - so it's not the most relaxing experience with so many people. Property: The hotel itself is outdated and more casual - the lobby furniture and design in particular. Having been to a few Four Seasons Hotels, it doesn't seem like a Four Seasons. If you're at the spa and want to go to the pool, you have to leave the spa area, go through the reception area, pass the gym and enter the pool area. There's a door between the pool and spa, but it's locked. Unlocking it for customer convenience / experience would be great. Comfort: if you are a person of color this may be an uncomfortable experience. NOT because of the staff (they are amazing), but because of the clientele. Unfortunately, we will not be returning. IYKYK.

I came in for an ombré pink and white dip manicure. Made an appointment but when i arrived there clearly wasn't one made. It was busy but the man at the front was able to find a technician quickly after asking everyone in earshot who could do it. I had pre-filed my nails on my left hand to the length and shape i wanted so there wasn't any confusion. The technician then proceeded to re-file the nails i had done and ruined the shape completely. I wanted to cry. She was very sweet and sorry but we had to cut hem off and put on tip extensions. I filed the rest myself. She did a really great job on the ombré pink and white fade and took her time to buff them all nicely. My biggest issue with this salon is the illusion of getting a manicure. The nails came out very nicely but that's all the service is. Nail color/product. No cuticles done at all, no pad to rest your forearms on and the massage is the nail oil they put on your nail beds at the very end with 4 seconds of rubbing it in then you wash your hands. Both of the girls on either side of me were also getting the dip "manicure" and i watched them get the exact same treatment. Overall my nails look very pretty but i felt on edge the entire time. No water offered. Definitely not a relaxing experience. read more

I love this place. It is nothing fancy but everything is clean and they have an awesome selection of both gel and regular polish and everyone is really friendly and kind. I got a gel mani/pedi here that literally lasted for 10 weeks, and I removed it because the polish was starting to fade, not because of the nail technicians' work! I have actually booked an appointment while having lunch across the street and then walked in half an hour later. There is parking in the lot behind the store front. You can book appointments online and while there never seems to be too long of a wait here, I like the convenience of being able to walk in and sit down right away. read more

*UPDATE* I originally posted about a subpar manicure and in less than an hour the manager reached out to correct the issue. Amazing customer service! They have invited me back in to redo my manicure and pedicure. I understand that at any place the manicures can't always be perfect every time, so i really appreciate them fixing the issue. ---------- I really wanted to like this place since I just moved the area and was looking for a new salon. The man who did my pedicure soaked my feet in cold water which was not enjoyable. The pedicure came out looking okay, but my manicure was really sub-par. I have been coming here several times before and every time i checked out, I always feel happy and satisfied with their services. This salon is big, clean and the staff are friendly; they greeted me immediately when i just came in. Every staff here are well-trained and work in a professional way, but my favorite staff to go with is Maria. I always had a deluxe pedicure and shellac manicure with her, she listened carefully to what i said and did my services perfectly. I cannot believe that the gel polish here lasts 3 weeks on my nails because i type a lot while at work. I highly recommend this spot and will definitely be back here for my nails. read more

Snappy Nails in Denver is the spot for a manicure or pedicure! The place is always buzzing, with 14 pedicure chairs and 12 manicure stations, and it's a full-service salon. Very disappointing. I'm in the business so yes I'm picky. However, I was just asked by my regular nail tech to "go to someone else next time". I pay $50 a pop and yes, expect perfection. They gab like crazy, eat and talk on the phone while working. The salon is freezing and the staff all wear parkas to work. Too many options to go here again. read more

I was really hoping to find my new go-to nail salon, but the quality of the work just wasn't there. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.
