My friends shellac manicure looked amazing, I got a full set of acrylics and they didn't turn out as well. Looks more like little square blocks on my fingers that 4-5 noticeably don't reach my cuticle. I know it's hard to get them thin sometimes, but they just don't look at all natural and too short with the amount of filing done. I was hopeful as they did look good along the way, but once the polish was on, the flaws stood out :( looking into finding another place to take them off and re-do them since I got them for an event. Stopped in last minute for a gel mani pedi. Sort of awkwardly waited for twenty minutes before someone sat me at a chair (which are massage powered so that was nice!). Overall they did a good job! They knew I was in a rush so they had someone work on my fingers and toes at the same time. They did that thing where they file all over the nail bed so the gel sticks better which I hate because it's HORRIBLE for your nails but it's such a common practice at salons I've sort of given up. I also had her remove my ingrown on my toes and didn't get an infection after so that's always a good sign:) The facility was clean and spacious but REAKED of chemicals- biggest downfall for me. Update: manager was amazing in rectifying the issue. It was awesome. I wasn't planning to come back, but I'll be staying and going to Maria!! went to get a gel manicure and pedicure. My nail technician was visibly annoyed when i didnt agree to her multiple requests to upgrade to dip versus gel or to not get a top of the line pedicure, which i had already upgrade a level from the basic. She hurried through the entire process. My pedicure and gel manicure finished 10 minutes before my friend who only got a regular manicure. I had to ask twice to touch up areas she didn't cover properly. She didn't take the time to go to the edges of several fingernails and toenails, she didn't paint the top ends of my toes and left nail polish on my finger tips i had to ask her to remove. Several of my toe nails were chipped in 2 days, but i was on vacation so unable to fix. Overall it was not a good experience at the salon and most of all not worth $60 to have a set of nails that lasted less thweek. Up read more

I've been searching for a salon that does affordable dip and this is it!! I've gone to Jenna twice now and both times she's been amazing!! The entire place is super clean and comfortable. Everyone is super nice too, which is always a bonus!! I am super super picky about my nails and I will continue to come back here because they do such a good job every time! My pedicure experience was wonderful; I upgraded my services for a leg mask and paraffin - highly recommended! My manicure was just ok, and felt more rushed than anything. I wish color selection for regular polish was more organized for easier selection. Snappy is a good option, however the location feels more factory-like, and less relaxing. I would try coming earlier in the day next time to avoid larger crowds in the salon. While there is a good effort of Covid protocols such as plexiglass dividers, I ended up having someone seated directly next to me due to two friends coming in for pedicures. I'm leaving this review for my sister. She had went in yesterday with gel x on and wanted it removed then an acrylic set. The artist POPPED off her nails which it still causes breakage and rips off layers of the nails causing it to be weaker. The First Lady she was with was fine ( still popped them off with a tip ) but they switched and the second girl COMPLETELY TORE HER NAIL. she thought it was leftover gel and proceeded to rip into her natural nail. It's going to take months to let it heal fully to the point she's in the clear again to get her nails done. What makes me more frustrated with the situation is they said nothing to her. Worst nail salon experience I have ever had - starting with the pedicure, the water my feet were soaking in was actually cold - I even told the tech that it was cold, and she did nothing. Also, the massage chair I was in was completely broken, which isn't a huge deal, but it's definitely part of the experience. The manicure was even worse - there was polish all over my skin and the polish was uneven and you could see through the coats. After complaining about the quality, I was given a $5 discount. I kid you not, my 8 year old niece could have done a better job. I went with a friend and she had a pretty similar experience. Both services were very rushed, like they were just trying to churn us out, even though there was no one waiting for service. The service was pricey, and the gel only lasted ~10 days before peeling up on every single edge. Never again. read more

My pedicure spot. I usually get the $40 option because the hot wax is a nice feeling. They have 4 different options at corresponding price levels. All will get the job done but only the $40 option has the hot wax. Parking is plentiful and it's covered! There's about 2 dozen massage chairs for the pedicures and just as many for the mani's as well. I've never had the same tech twice and some are better than others, which is why they don't get the 5 stars. I'm still going through their lineup up figure out who's the best so an update will eventually come. But for now, it's a 4-star place until I find my permanent pedicure tech. When they say snappy nails, they are being serious! I was being dodged for a while befor I was taken back. Then the services took all of 22 minutes. While getting serviced, she proceeds to tell me no one likes doing acrylic nails there. That she makes more money for even faster services. As shes talking she cuts my nails way to short. But it gets better my nails were glued on wrong. So now my nails are lifting upwards. And there is a gap between my real nail and the fake one. And that can lead to fungus growing in that tiny pocket! Ugh, I paid $50 for this ugly set of nails. I had to be somewhere so i couldn't stay and have them taken off. So beware if you do not do gel dip don't go here. And i woke up this morning and i have tiny cuts on sides of my nails. read more

I don't like to give a one star review to any business unless it is truly earned. I have gone to this nail salon several times over the past couple of years. Mainly bc it's so close to my house. I've had a number of poor and upsetting experiences. Today was another one of those times. The first thing was the nail colors in their books were not matching the actual color in the bottle so I ended up w a color I dislike on my toes. We all know how frustrating that is. But that isn't what made me write this. When we got to the manicure station the technician put on a pair of OLD & DIRTY latex gloves. They had holes in them and felt gross on my skin. I was nauseated the entire time. How in the time of a pandemic could you not be extremely rigorous about these things? When I was washing my hands after I saw the woman rinsing the tools she had used on me and lightly scrubbing them. Other nail salons have sanitized tools that they open in front of you out of a package. I had told them when I walked in I wanted an eyebrow waxing which of course they didn't pay attention to or remember but I was glad bc I wanted to get out of there as quickly as I could. Also today (and this has been an issue before), there was an employee walking around angrily yelling in Vietnamese and screaming at the manager. Everyone in the salon was visibly awkward about it. In the past, it's even been two employees having some sort of conversation but speaking very loudly (practically yelling) and the one doing my services only half paying attention to what she's doing on my nails. It's extremely unprofessional on a basic level. Like I didn't even exist or matter. Another time I had gotten in the habit of getting dip in my nails which is pricey. I decided I wanted to try an ombré look one week which adds an additional $10 to the bill on top of it. I asked the technician if she knew how to do ombré and she said yes. I ended up w nails just half one color and half another with no blending and no ombré look. When I asked her about it she spoke in Vietnamese to the manager and they teamed up on me telling me how good it looked trying to manipulate me about it not caring about how unhappy I was or offering customer service in any way. I think what it comes down to in this place is an extremely poor and lacking management. After I've had a bad experience I'll drive to my old place off S Colorado Blvd for a while then get lazy and want to go up the street to this place. I always regret it. This will be my last waste of money in there as I don't feel they are taking this pandemic seriously and I don't feel comfortable around the employees. I should never leave a nail experience as stressed out and unhappy as I do leaving this place almost every time. read more

6/3 update - after an unpleasant first experience here, the owner Maria offered to fix my nails. I politely declined but she followed up with me two weeks later, personally did my nails and gave me a discount. The day after she also followed up to see if I was still satisfied. One had cracked so she offered to have me come in to get it fixed that day. I give her 4 stars for her attention to customer detail and her work on my nails. Unfortunately another broke so I will be going in again to get it fixed as well. Original review - First and last time here. While the parking is easy and color selection is excellent, service is poor. Did not do the pedicure I requested. When I called to make an appointment they said they had UV gel but didn't tell me until after my pedicure that they did not. My left hand was cut three times and when I asked to have the blood cleaned up the technician refused and continues to use the file, cuticle cutter and buffer on my 3 fingers that had blood on them. I left with the clear coat dried on my finger because it wasn't cleaned up. The place is super inexpensive and you get what you pay for. read more
