I came in this afternoon as a walk in with my friend to get full sets. We called ahead but when we got there it was PACKED. As soon as we sat down immediately the nail techs are spouting off comments about our hands in Vietnamese probably without realizing I in fact fully understand it. So that already got my riled up. I understand how bad our hands may have looked, we had taken off our press ons before we went in but the comments were uncalled for 100%. The lady who originally started with me proceeded to hand me off to another tech who didn't really have a clue what she was doing. She proceeded to cut me with the e file multiple times as well as putting my nails in crooked telling me it would be okay and she would fix it. She in fact did not fix it and my nails are different lengths and crooked as well as faaaar from what I had asked for. Also pictured below is a nail she put on thats different then the others and has bothered me since I left. My friend had never really done her nails before except for press ons so it was definitely tragic that her first time had to be at this place. She wanted the duck shaped nails (which I understand most nails places don't have the tips of course) but the lady that was helping her tried to cut the shape that she wanted and was shut down by another lady, probably the manager, so she didn't even get close to the shape she wanted. The ladies that helped did our nails are nice people I'm sure but we both left super disappointed and angry. I would recommend 5280 or Glamour nails if you're looking for a place that actually takes their time and cares about your nails without the snarky comments in another language because they think you don't understand. I now have to spend more money just to get these fixed.

Clean, bright, professional and fast service for nails in the Denver area. Wanted a quick mani/pedi before a wedding while in town. Snappy was able to accommodate me right away, and not in hurried rushed way. They were very busy on a Saturday morning but worked carefully and with care on my toes and nails. The technicians who I worked with were kind and gentle. Loved the results! Would recommend if you're in the area for nails.

I come here often for my pedicures. Cute place in a nice area but very busy. Even if you make an appointment you're probably gonna have to wait a bit si keep that in mind. Their prices are very affordable and I keep coming back because they do a really good job. I cannot speak on behalf of the manicures but the pedicures are good and I did an eyebrow wax which was good too.

Kelly did a phenomenal job on my acrylic nails! I gave her a design from Pinterest to replicate and she did it so masterfully. She made sure to listen to what I wanted - natural looking nails that will still allow me to type in the office. Second time I came back was for a regular mani pedi with Lin(?)If you add exfoliation, it will be $55 for the whole thing. The price of course will increase depending on which foot treatment you get and whether you want gel. See attached photo on the pedicure set prices. They may seem pushy on suggesting gel instead of regular but understandably so as they want to upsell. Really up to you what's your preference - just be adamant about it. Tips can be given in cash or Venmo -- which is pretty nifty. I came on a Thursday night and I was easily seated despite the salon being a full house at that time. Very quick and efficient service! Lin was super attentive and extra cautious with my ingrown. Parking is aplenty with the underground parking or within the plaza.

My boyfriend and I were in dire need of a pedicure. New to Denver, I found this place based on my fellow yelper's review. The parking was a bit crowded if you're not familiar with the area, it's within a small apartment plaza. Luckily we found parking, but apparently there is underground parking. I had called in advance to make sure they're available for 2 pedicures. It was quite easy and simple. There were a lot of people when we showed up, but we only waited for a few minutes before sitting down. Like any nail spa, it's the same routine and procedure. We chose #4 since they recommended it and we needed a "deep clean" lol. It felt really nice being pampered, but when it starts to feel rushed...it's not fun. My specialist was working on my feet really fast. I don't care if there's nothing to clean under the nails or anything, do the job professionally and stop having wandering eyes. She paid attention to everything else, but my feet. My boyfriend had the same feeling with his specialist. They would look at each other to see where they're at. If one isn't at the same speed, they quickly jump to the next step to be in line with the other. That is NOT how you're suppose do it! My boyfriend's feet is size 13 and has more work to be done, while I have a 7.5 feet with callus. You cannot compare the two and be at the same spot at the same time! On the exfoliating scrub portion, she took less than a minute when it should be at least 3 minutes minimum. I felt that it was a waste of the scrub when she put it on, made a few hand movements and wiped it off. Boyfriend had the same issue. By then I was annoyed. I put down my phone and just watched what she was doing. I tried to make conversation with her, but gave only short answers. It's not like she doesn't speak English, she was just busy trying to finish up and listening in on other conversations. And nobody was in the waiting area for service. Collagen cream mask, lotion, and stone was useless. She definitely just did not do a good job in making me feel like I'm being taken care. If we're not paying for the cheapest pedicure, we should get a decent service and massage. We've paid less elsewhere and had gotten better service. I think the more I'm writing about this, the more I'm annoyed with my service. Everything I'm reviewing, my boyfriend has the same feelings and opinion about this place and his specialist. Although, I feel like his specialist paid more attention to him rather than the surrounding conversations. We won't be coming back.

Snappy is THE place to go! They strive for perfection, and they nail it every time. These look like press-ons! I'm so glad I those them for my bridal nails.

I've been getting my nails done at Snappy Nails for several years now and I have generally had good experiences. The salon is clean and bright and it's very easy to get an appointment, either by calling or booking online. I've also seen them take drop ins while I've been in but I've also seen them ask potential drop ins to please come back later if they're really busy. They have a huge selection of polish colors to choose from- I've had them do shellac mania with matching regular polish pedicures but have lately been just doing dip manicures since it's winter and my feet are in socks all day. Most of their techs are really talented, but I have had a very few that didn't do as good of a job as others. That said the last person who did my nails was excellent- I'm super pleased with the way they look!!

i had gotten a really bad nail tech back at home. it was so bad, she felt guilty and only charged me half price lol. i couldn't stand the sight of my hands anymore so i dropped snappy nails a message as soon as i woke up. they told me i could come in right away. immediately i was sat down. they removed the ugly nails, which is normally a really painful experience for me back at home, but whatever they used, took the nails right off. then they replaced them with a beautiful purple set with a pedicure to match! my nail technician was a lovely man with a tattoo on his neck. conversation was lovely, too. he has a genuine interest in his clients lives without prying! read more

If I could give this "salon" a zero star I would. I had an appointment for a pedicure that was done in 5 minutes which is entirely inappropriate amount of time. I then went to sit for my shellac manicure and she proceeded to go so quickly that she took a chunk out of my cuticle that would not stop bleeding. After asking her to slow down, she did not and my nails ended up looking so terrible that I could barely speak. She did not even deserve a tip because to her I was just another $. This place pumps out people so quickly that I don't know how your doors are still open with how bad the service is. Shameful service. read more

I've been seeing Maria for over two years and she is absolutely fabulous. She takes great pride in her work and tries to go above and beyond to accommodate clients. Every now and then I have witness clients treat the staff extremely poor and then threaten to go online and write a bad review. It makes me sad to see people treating the service industry so poorly and sometimes for reasons that are beyond their control. I often coke here just to simply get my acrylic nails soaked off and almost every time, I have an unpleasant experience. I always leave with acrylic on my nails so that defeats the purpose of why I went there. They are also very aggressive as today the lady was even frogging her nail under mine, causing it to hurt. Today, the lady who did them cut my real nail at the beginning causing for it to hurt and almost break which also defeats the purpose of getting them soaked off. In the past I have also had a woman who was taking 45+ minutes to take my nails off and I still didn't get them fully off. Soaking nails is time consuming, I understand that, but I am only in the nail salon for maybe 30 minutes and I don't ever enjoy the experience. I usually just come here because it's convenient but it's not even worth it anymore. read more

She was very courteous and was more than willing to do whatever she could to remedy the problem. I came back and both she and Jenna redid my nails and they turned out great. I am new to the Berkeley neighborhood and decided to try this nail place. Wow, did this place disappoint! I paid for a manicure and pedicure. Both were bad. The nail tech was too busy talking with all of the other nail techs who gathered around her. At one point, while getting my manicure, there were four nail techs standing around her. It made me uncomfortable, because she couldn't even concentrate on my nails. Also$20 for a simple manicure, when I can get it for $10-$15 at neighboring nail salons. The massage on my hand an foot sucked, as it had no pressure whatsoever. The remote on my pedicure chair's letters were rubbed off, so I couldn't tell which button did what. Absolute worst mani/pedi of my life. They didn't even try. It was not even a half try. My feet look worse than when I went in. I've never posted a bad review (or any review in general) but I feel like this place just stole my money. They up-charged me for an exfoliating treatment that took all of 5 seconds. I had to apply lotion to my hands and feet when I got home because they were so dry. Save your money. Do not go here. read more

Updating my review because Maria reached out to me and really sought to make things right after my initial experience. This time around, I really did feel like everyone was trying to listen to my wants & needs. They were initially unsure if they could pull off a chrome french tip (even did a practice nail sample which was great), but Maria took over for my original nail tech and did a crazy good job for this being a new design venture at Snappy. This is the nail salon the Highlands has needed. Every other nail salon is, in my opinion, either extremely overpriced or has terrible reviews. I called for an appointment when they opened at 9:30am and they had availability for me at 11am. I arrived early and they were able to get started. The salon is very clean and comfortable. There are multiple pedicure options, all priced well. Both my shellac manicure and pedicure were done really well. I was probably at the salon for about an 1.15 hours total. Will absolutely be returning! And they save your phone number so you can accumulate points towards future services - no need for another punch card in your wallet. Thank you :) read more

I'm so glad I found snappy nails right after I got engaged! Tina does an exceptionally great job, making sure my nails are flawless each time. I come every 3-4 weeks to get dip. My nails last 3-4 weeks each time without chipping or polish coming off. Since getting dip polish at snappy, my nails have grown strong and LONG! Micky who used to work there, advised me to try dip and I'm glad I did. It costs more but it will grow your nails out and they never chip. Maria, the manager makes sure I am taken care of each time. I absolutely love the work they did. My nails were a complete mess thanks to Covid-19 and quarantine. They fixed me right up. Clarified multiple times if I liked what they were doing so far and of course I was. I did get a little burnt by the buffing tool but I don't really blame her. It happens. I love the shape, the color, the thickness (they didn't do the acrylics too thick like some places) All in all I was very happy with my care here and plan to make it my new place read more

They got me right in after I had my nails butchered from another salon in the area. I have been looking for a new nail and brow waxing place for a while, and think I have finally found it!!!! Snappy Nails & Spa was fabulous from the booking process to the flawless perfect nails. Booked an appointment here through yelp and the response time was so speedy. I was booked within minutes! Once I got there, my appointment started immediately. While my shellac was being removed, my brows were being waxed and everything was so efficient. My brows turned out flawless and so did my nails! The spa was clean, fun, and everyone was so nice! I was in for a dip manicure and gel pedicure 2 weeks ago and I am very unhappy with the results. To save time, I requested to have my nails and toes done at the same time. The woman doing my manicure kept complaining about how difficult it was to do my nails while not seated at a table - even though it is very common to get both done at the same time. My nails were done way too thick and after I left I noticed black speckles in what was supposed to be white polish. I had made an appointment online and requested a specific technician who does a good job but when I arrived they just put me with a random person. read more

If you're like me and suffer from ingrowns or excessive skin build-up in your toes or cuticles Maria is the Tech for you! And because I know her so well I trust the employees that she hires is up to her same standards. Made an appointment but it's not like it mattered because there was a complete lack of Covid safety protocols. Went for a pedicure and the technician tried to up sell services at 4 different times. After a miserable and expensive excuse for a dip manicure at another salon, I decided to look for a new place. I made a Monday morning appointment online same-day, was confirmed via text within minutes, but got there early and was taken immediately. There a few women getting pedis and manicures, but plenty of techs available and lots of seating. Jenna did my dip manicure, was very thorough, and I'm thrilled with how they came out. Not too thick, the shape is even, and there's no bumps or streaks! I'd happily book with her again. She did a great, clean job with lots of attention to detail. This salon never lets me down. I've been coming here for about a year and always have a great experience. Maria is always so kind and greets you as soon as you walk in. Which makes me feel special. I have probably sat in everyone's chair at least once because I'm always making appointments last minute. They have always found time to fit me in even though I know they are super busy. Update 1/22- Maria contacted me about my experience and she invited me to come back and she would fix my nails. When I arrived she took me right away and completely redid my manicure, and they are exactly what I expected. I will definitely be back the next time. I liked how clean this place is, but the nail tech didn't bother to engage with me, and when I tried she apparently didn't speak any e flush, she couldn't even understand what shape I wanted my nails. I was happy with the end result at first but after a few days I noticed many areas where the gel was over my skin, which after a few days or so as my nail grows out it ends up lifting there and I get my hair caught in the gap. I was initially planning to go back there but now I'm not so sure. read more

I came in for an ombré pink and white dip manicure. Made an appointment but when i arrived there clearly wasn't one made. It was busy but the man at the front was able to find a technician quickly after asking everyone in earshot who could do it. I had pre-filed my nails on my left hand to the length and shape i wanted so there wasn't any confusion. The technician then proceeded to re-file the nails i had done and ruined the shape completely. I wanted to cry. She was very sweet and sorry but we had to cut hem off and put on tip extensions. I filed the rest myself. She did a really great job on the ombré pink and white fade and took her time to buff them all nicely. My biggest issue with this salon is the illusion of getting a manicure. The nails came out very nicely but that's all the service is. Nail color/product. No cuticles done at all, no pad to rest your forearms on and the massage is the nail oil they put on your nail beds at the very end with 4 seconds of rubbing it in then you wash your hands. Both of the girls on either side of me were also getting the dip "manicure" and i watched them get the exact same treatment. Overall my nails look very pretty but i felt on edge the entire time. No water offered. Definitely not a relaxing experience. read more

I love this place. It is nothing fancy but everything is clean and they have an awesome selection of both gel and regular polish and everyone is really friendly and kind. I got a gel mani/pedi here that literally lasted for 10 weeks, and I removed it because the polish was starting to fade, not because of the nail technicians' work! I have actually booked an appointment while having lunch across the street and then walked in half an hour later. There is parking in the lot behind the store front. You can book appointments online and while there never seems to be too long of a wait here, I like the convenience of being able to walk in and sit down right away. read more

*UPDATE* I originally posted about a subpar manicure and in less than an hour the manager reached out to correct the issue. Amazing customer service! They have invited me back in to redo my manicure and pedicure. I understand that at any place the manicures can't always be perfect every time, so i really appreciate them fixing the issue. ---------- I really wanted to like this place since I just moved the area and was looking for a new salon. I have been coming here several times before and every time i checked out, I always feel happy and satisfied with their services. This salon is big, clean and the staff are friendly; they greeted me immediately when i just came in. Every staff here are well-trained and work in a professional way, but my favorite staff to go with is Maria. I always had a deluxe pedicure and shellac manicure with her, she listened carefully to what i said and did my services perfectly. Very disappointing. I'm in the business so yes I'm picky. However, I was just asked by my regular nail tech to "go to someone else next time". I pay $50 a pop and yes, expect perfection. They gab like crazy, eat and talk on the phone while working. The salon is freezing and the staff all wear parkas to work. Too many options to go here again. read more

My only complaint is that they use the same towel that they have your skin shavings and nail clippings on to dry your feet when you take it out of the bath the last time. I always feel like I'm putting wet, clean feet on a dirty towel. They fold it over to paint nails but still, would like that done earlier in the pedicure.

The gel polish was not clean and was cured on my cuticles so they peeled off 2 days after. My toenails were crooked and uneven length from my right to left lol. My friends toes also were not polished within the lines. Overall for the price they charge, do not come here. They have a nice environment but the quality is not there.

My hair constantly gets caught around the edges because the builder gel wasn't properly sealed. The salon itself was clean, and the staff were kind and friendly, which makes this even more disappointing. Said no one ever, "I want my nail tech to charge me money to do my nails for me and rush through as fast as possible, making lots of mistakes." They'll even ask, "Did you do yourself at home?" because they feel like that is a way to criticize me. Stop making your customers feel bad because they get pedis and don't want a mani! Money doesn't grow on trees, you know!!! The rest of my body is none of your business. Just pay attention to doing an excellent, A-class job on the service I DID decide to award to you! (which isn't even being done as it is!). Stop pressuring customers to spend, spend, spend. We don't want that when we are trying to relax and pamper! STOP RUSHING! Stop being so greedy! You've lost a long-time customer with your antics and behavior.
