I have been visiting snappy nails for almost 7 years now. I have practically grown up visiting their salon. The owners, Pho and Mai, are the nicest people in the world and are great about remembering names. I always feel very welcome there. If you are looking for a pedicure, there is not a place that does it better. They also offer herbal spa pedicures now, which are quite time consuming, but by far the most relaxing experience I've ever had. They accept walkins with a smile, and often times have stayed open late to ensure that they finish your service in the best way possible. I have tried other salons, but always come back. WRONG PRICES! They really need to update their website. I was planning on spending $22 for a mani-pedi but when I got here the board read $40. I ended up getting a basic polish on my finger nails. Mai did an alright job but everyone seemed rather cold, and I felt more like a bother rather than a customer. I don't plan on returning. read more

If you are tired of the assembly line treatment in nail shops, then go to Snappy Nails, where you can get full salon treatment for half of the price. My Shellac (gel polish) manicure lasts three weeks, and I have natural nails! The best spa service is the deluxe pedicure- aromatherapy oils (I get lavender and peppermint), sea salt scrub, and hot stone massage.. all for $55! The deluxe pedicure lasts OVER an hour, and I've paid over $100 for the same spa treatment at upscale boutique salons. Snappy Nails is by FAR the best nail salon in Nashville. They offer premium salon services (even facials and waxing) at a fraction of the cost. I will never waste my money or my time anywhere else. Snappy Nails is the BEST!!! read more

Still on my quest for my "home" nail salon, I thought I'd give Snappy Nails a try. Long overdue for a fill, I popped in on a Wednesday night after work. Tran did my nails. And did exactly what I asked for. Very friendly, no frills salon next to Harbor Freight (helpful to entertain the man in your life while you are getting a pedi). Waited for over an hour for a pedicure and no one even talked to me.... need more staff or to not take appointment AND walk-ins. People with appointments were even waiting about 30 minutes. It's frustrating to be next and then have others go ahead, especially without that info being available. Poor communication and time-management. One of the worst nail salon experiences. I asked for a pedicure and dip manicure. I arrived at 10:45 and left at 12:50 and that would have been just fine if my nails and toes didn't both look worst than they did when I arrived. The lady who did my toes didn't understand what I was asking for when all I wanted was white polish. Then mai who did my nails stepped on my toe and messed the polish up, they half way fixed it. Again it looked worse than when I came in. I've been getting my nails done for years. Every two weeks I go so I know what good quality nails look like. Anyways I left with three of my cuticles bleeding, she filed the dip down instead of using the electric tool, I asked for white and I got light pink, anddd I was charged 10 dollars extra for white color when that wasn't stated anywhere and I wasn't warned, and my nails look grown out the day of service. Very disappointed and the most expensive place I've been. I do not recommend what so ever. read more

The staff was very friendly. I didn't have to wait and they finished my nails in a timely manner. The only problem was three days after I had them done, they started lifting. I've had my nails done at least 100 times and they have never started falling off that fast. Very disappointed. Customer service does not always provide the best results. But I have them 2 stars for the excellent service and their friendliness. Sadly, I will not return. read more

This place is awful! Total language barrier. I had a new set put on; My nails are flat and while I don't like thick acrylic, they are paper thin. I asked several times during the process about this, as well as the shape. When the tone of my voice became unpleasant, Pho told me maybe not to come back. What horrible customer service! I do not recommend. I was there for 2 hours. The guy who did my nails took several smoke breaks. He put the top coat on and walked outside. I did not get lotion in my hands or a thank you, bye. I did not feel pampered and did not enjoy the experience. Will not go back. read more

They discriminate against people with disabilities. I use a wheelchair and entered with my service dog. I was asked what I was there for, I responded, I'd like to have a manicure. I was told to pick colors. Then manager came out and told me I was not allowed with my pet. I explained that he was a service dog not a pet and was wearing his vest and appropriately behaved. She said no. I explained this was a violation of the Americans with disabilities act. She said no cats or dogs allowed and I asked her again if she was sure she was refusing me service because of my disability and Service dog. I told her I would file a federal complaint if she was really kicking me out. She kicked me out. I have filed a federal complaint. read more

Worse nails I've ever had put on. They look awful! The guy that did them was rude several times with me when I tried to tell him what I wanted and He was very rough. I had to jerk away a couple times because it hurt and he acted annoyed. His name on his tag was Pho. I was treating myself because I hadn't had my nails done in a while...so dissatisfied. Came in for a "quick" "cheap" pedicure for my 40th birthday. Bad idea. Massage chair was set to do really rude things to my behind; I had to turn it off. I could not communicate with the technician, Kim, whatsoever, and no one assisted. The technician was very rough and repeatedly hurt me with her hands, brushes and scissors. She made a large abrasion that now burns on my lower right leg with the exfoliating sponge. I wish I hadn't wasted my time on my birthday. I won't be back here. I'll keep hoofing my hooves over to the other side of town where they seem to know better what they are doing. I was here for more than an hour and I had to pay the same amount I pay at way better salons. I give it a two because my nails look better than they did when I came in. read more
