One of the most memorable parts of visiting sisters Oregon was hiking Tamolitch falls and ending the day with a Marionberry milkshake at Sno Cap. The most refreshing treat one can have this summer

Delicious! Completely fit the bill on a sunny day in Sisters, OR. Sitting in their parking lot eating my Espresso & Sugar-free Strawberry Cheesecake ice cream cone gazing upon Mt. Hood and her sister peak(?) was close to heavenly. A double scoop of homemade ice cream in a small waffle cone (size of a sugar cone) was $7.50. Completely worth it. AND the workers run all the orders out to the customers personally (vs. shouting a number out of the window like at a Costco food court).

    Mushroom Swiss burger.

After buying over $50 worth of food a woman working there completely freaked out when I went in to get some spoons for our shake. Suuuuper overpriced for the quality and quantity of the food. My 12 dollar burger was tiny and looked like someone sat on it before it was served to me. It also tasted pretty bad. It also comes with no fries. The 4 dollar corn dogs are the same as the ones you get at the gas station. Although the shake and the BLT were really good.

Burgers tasted great. Staff was friendly. This place is iconic, and now I know why. I had the marionberry shake. Unique and good enough. Not earth shaking, but good. I really enjoyed my kids Oreo milkshakes! It tasted so pure. Also, they make a good fry!

My three positives and a negative because the world needs more positivity: + local + loads of options + completely decadent creamy ice cream packed with flavor and toppings - service was slow- but they did have a sign stating they were training new staff

Stopped in here after a day of fishing. This place always has lines and this is the first time we went and braved them. We just wanted some ice cream after being out in the sun. Our milkshakes hit the spot and the single scoop ice cream was well sized. The line moved pretty quickly which gave us time to figure out what we wanted. They have some covered tables on the side of the building for eating at, it seems like there dining room is not available.

Good burgers and chili ! Was great to have good warm food and a cold day. I thought the prices were a little high for what it is but it is a small town

Enjoyed this old style ice cream cafe. When we 1st came into town saw this place line was really long. (Lunch time) After park RV at Bend/Sisters Garden RV park we came back to town walked around. When we came by later only one person in line. Timing is essential!! We had already eaten so ICE CREAM it was. Went with soft serve chocolate knowing I couldn't go wrong. Staff were friendly. You were not allowed into building due to Covid, but we were fine with that. Very popular local spot

This place is great if you only want ice cream. The food was okay but I wouldn't get food here again with these prices. This costed us more than going to a restaurant would and it wasn't even good. No wait due to being a Tuesday evening at 6, so that's a plus. But I always drive by and see this place packed, which is why I never stopped.

Good food, tasty, priced right but extremely slow. If you're not getting a shake or ice cream prepare to wait up to 20min for a burger.

Great ice cream and delicious burgers! I loved it when I was a kid and my kids love it now. It's a must stop in Sisters for my family.

It's a steep $18 but worth every penny (oh, sorry, they don't make those any more). The REUBEN SANDWICH on toasted marble rye had Swiss cheese, the perfect mound of sauerkraut and thousand island dressing (ask them to go light on the slather) along with a bag of chips and a cookie. Top it off with the beverage of your choice -beer, wine, canned soda, etc.- and you have the perfect lunch or afternoon snack. On our way out we bought a couple pounds of the Smokehouse Jerky (Original, Pepper, & Teriyaki) and two pounds of the Smokehouse bacon. Made the car on our trip home smell great!!!! Seating inside is nice and you can people watch. I like to eavesdrop on the questions they ask the people behind the counter. You learn something new every time - LOL. Tables outside too but it was a tad too hot the day we visited to sit outside, even in the shade. Small, family-run establishment owned by Oregon natives. The artisan meat cutter and smokehouse expert are both third generation in the industry. Such a cute little town too, all cowboy-like and worth an afternoon of moseying the main street to see the shops. Just make sure you keep up your strength and have lunch at Sisters Meat and Smokehouse first.

Hopping place here! We were nearly immediately treated like royalty. Genuinely surprised by the kindness here. I walked out with seasonings, bone in Kansas City cuts, and house smoked peppercorn havarti. Walked out saying to my wife, I cannot remember the last time someone was as kind as the folks working there.

After having visited the lodge and loving the views of the lake, we tried to book an event there for a family gathering in the fall. Not anything big. 15-ish people for 4 hours. No other needs from them beyond the location. Two major issues came up: 1) It took 3 MONTHS of back and forth with their event coordinator, Anne, to try to lock it in. It felt like she actively didn't want our business. Finally got a date and quote of $600 for 4 hours. After another couple of weeks of prodding her, was finally on the verge of getting the contract. I think. Except... 2) In that time, my fiancé and I thought it'd be good to just say our vows during the family gathering since we'd have folks out here anyway. Save everyone a second trip. I mentioned this to Anne and she raised the quoted price from $600 to $2500 site fee, a mandatory $1500 minimum catering charge, and requirements to work with one of their dedicated coordinators which was even more $$$ on top of that. To reiterate, absolutely nothing had changed on our needs from the original quote except now they considered it a "wedding" which they apparently price gouge on. Good thing there's no end of beautiful locations in the area for a family gathering. Note: Yelp removed this review saying it wasn't for this location. I'm guess Suttle Lake tried to lie to Yelp to take it down. It was this location (Sisters, OR). Maybe treat potential customers better in the future and you won't get poor reviews. And since this occurrence, my fiancé and I were happily married elsewhere.

Had heard good things about their food and wanted to treat myself while on a little Central Oregon vacation, and boy am I glad I did. The main lodge area is simultaneously cozy and trendy, complete with a fireplace amongst lots of wood architecture and modern furniture. It gave me Society Hotel vibes, for those familiar. I went for the "famous" (it was featured in the Eater's Guide to the World Hulu series hosted by Maya Rudolph) fish sandwich. It was quite spendy but worth it for a splurge. It was quite a bit of food and delicious, and that's coming from someone who is not the biggest fan of seafood. Kind of wish it came with some of fries or another side for the price but what can ya do. I didn't get a drink but the cocktails looked great. Recommend putting your phone away, grabbing one of the many coffee table books they have stacked up, and enjoying the fire and the peace. I went for a hike around Suttle Lake afterwards which was also great. Lots of birds on the water and saw a Bald Eagle swooping. I noticed lots of cabins, campsites, picnic areas, swimming holes, canoes/kayaks, etc. Overall looks like an awesome place to actually spend time. I'd happily come back in the warmer months to spend a weekend here.
