I tried the whipped cream first and it was actually yummy so I was looking forward to tasting the drink. Very disappointed because it was so bland. I thought maybe all the flavoring was at the bottom so I mixed everything and it was still extremely bland. Without the whipped cream this drink tastes like shaved ice with plain milk and food coloring. No sweetness or flavor of ube/taro besides the light taste in the whipped cream. Just hoping whoever made my drink just forgot to add the flavoring since I heard a lot of chatting and laughing while waiting for it. Up beat vibe all around with some new dranks! Really thought the name was pronounced like snow-ice and was supposed to be punny but I guess their inspiration came from key and Peele and that's snoice! I had the purple drank and it was basically an orgasm of ube. Great if you like ube but meh if not bc it is quite overwhelming. My cousin tried their white rabbit milk tea, which was my second choice and said it was too overly sweet for her. I figured that though, bc white rabbit candies are excessively sweet, but that's why I love them. I guess in drink form is a bit weird. Anyhow, they have some fresh ideas for the drinks and the aesthetic is there; it's not a traditional boba shop, but that's the allure of this place. It definitely has more of a Filipino sweets drink place. They also sold other Filipino goodies and even clothes so that's pretty cool. This is it and only it pancit for SNOICE.. Seems like the Kearny Mesa location is closed without proper notification.. Sucks because this location, albeit being the original, is not the most convenient of locations (including lack of parking) and older looking building. I like the fact that I'm able to customize my halo halo and I go here for that aspect alone.. But let's be honest, their shaved ice is not the best ESPECIALLY CONSIDERING THAT THEY SELL SHAVED SNOW ICE..!! My partner and I have been going to Snoice for about 2 years now. We got engaged and having Boba Catering was a must. The process was very easy and smooth. We chose to go with the Fancy Boba All Inclusive package and did 12 gallons (5 gal min). Emily, the Catering Team Lead, was very friendly, professional and answered all our questions. They provided us a list of their flavors and were able to pick 4. We did a Boba Testing in their cute shop on Convoy but you also have the option to go to their other locations nearest to you. We ended up choosing Thai Tea, Passion Fruit Green Tea and Pandan. They had so many topping choices and we chose lychee Jelly, Egg Pudding, and Boba pearls. Contracts are easily signed and paid for online. I purchased Boba Catering for 200 people for only 1k. Day of Wedding: They brought all their own supplies and I had 2 baristas at the counter serving my guests for 2 hours. They were very professional, nice and friendly. They were able to manage my 200 guests stampeding over to them. When their shift was over, they were so nice to fill the rest of the drinks into individual cups to grab and go, I thought I was going to self-serve from my own containers. Everyone kept messaging me about how they loved my wedding and everyone I know is obsessed with Boba. It was a major highlight, I think my 2 open bars didn't even get that many people. Tip: Day of Wedding Bride and Groom will be thrown and running in all directions. Asian weddings it is tradition to go table to table thanking each guest for coming. I was unable to enjoy the Boba as much as I wanted or take enough pictures but my guests sure did. I highly recommend Snoice catering. read more

This place is all right. Tried 5 different drinks and out of the 5 only 2 were good. There's no dedicated cashier so service can be slow and it can take a while before you can place your order. But no, they offered over 13 different combinations and provided helpful cards to make your notes about each flavor. It was so hard to pick a favorite, each one had it's own tasty qualities. Drinks designs are nice but that's really where it ends for me. The teas we got either didn't taste like the tea to us or they tasted like diluted tea. I don't know if they just didn't put enough tea leaves or if it's their recipe but we were disappointed. Saigon milk tea tasted like watery milk tea. Winter melon didn't taste like winter melon to us. The Purple Drank didn't give off the ube flavor we were hoping for, only taro. We were expecting a balance of flavors but only tasted taro. Aloha Sunset was nice. Liked the liho powder but too sweet. Probably should get half-sugar next time. Flower Bomb was okay. Good with crystal boba. Crystal boba was nice, good texture and consistency. Taste good too. The tea on the other hand lost flavor at 1/4 of the cup. I don't know why, but it tasted like water the last 1/4 of the drink. I ordered a classic halo-halo (mix mix when translated to English) with ube ice cream. So Halo-Halo (pronounced as HALLO- HALLO) is a traditional Filipino dessert. Classically made of crushed ice and condensed milk with flan, sweetened jellies, Candied yams and or bananas and beans in the inside and topped with any ice cream you want. I love Snoice! I've been coming here since it opened, and love their teas. I've purchased their boba jugs for tea at home (yes, just for me), the small travelers for a birthday celebration, and the large traveler for my wedding. All worked out great and their catering team is super easy to work with and reliable. Not a lot of boba places offer catering yet, or make you contact them for a quote, so I love this place for all my boba catering needs. The quality of the tea and desserts is good, and I like the selection of toppings. Both locations (they have another one in Clairemont/Kearny Mesa) have consistently awesome customer service. This was my first boba experience in the San Diego area. The place was easy to find and parking looked like it could be a challenge at busy times of the day- however, I lucked out and found parking right away. I walked in and was greeted with a smile. What the lady behind the counter didn't know, today was my birthday. I asked her for a second as I quickly reviewed the menu and then placed my order. She was kind and courteous. After placing my order, she asked me to wait outside. I welcomed this as I love being in the warmth of the sun. There were benches and a bar to sit at. The window was cute and when my buzzer rang, I made my way to the pickup window. I picked up two gorgeous drinks and snapped a quick picture before heading home to share with my husband. Halo halo stands on its own and is definitely worth a try. Especially with the heat wave. Tip: Try to order ahead. The wait with 5 parties deep was over 30 minutes. Other faves were also available such as shaved ice and milk teas. We opted for the milk teas and blended milk teas. Taro, Oreo, and honeydew. Some with boba. They were all great with lots of flavor. Snoice has a wide variety of desserts. We ordered matcha shaved ice with add ons (strawberries, wafers, and motchi) and Thai Iced tea. The shaved ice was good, my wife wasn't a fan. For the size, you can get a small or medium. Medium is good enough to share and add ons are .50 each. I wasn't a fan of the boba. It tasted over cooked and the Thai iced tea wasn't really mixed well and gave an off flavoring. My biggest problem was that it was attached to a bakery. Although I love my Filipino bakeries, I was not prepared to have it attached to Snoice. I didn't like the fact that we left smelling like fresh pan De sal.
