If you want great refreshing Pinoy desserts this is the place! There are a ton boba shops in Paradise Hills and National City, but it's hard to find true Filipino flavors. I grew up eating Maiz con Helio, Buko Pandan, and Lanka. I can't find these flavors anywhere related to boba. My papa would make me ice cream sandwiches (LITERALLY ICE CREAM IN PANDESAL) and they sell that at snoice!!!! I truely have no unique experiences lmfao but their drinks and dessert take me back to my childhood and remind me how beautiful my culture is. I'm Pinoy and Mexican ( which is culturally so similar but also unique ) and they serve Tarchata!!! Taro and hortacha. It makes total sense and it really feels like it was meant for me hahaha Also they host open mic! So awesome! I come here so often now that I forgot to leave a review when I first came to check it out! My household and I (boyfriend and roommate) are big fans of bubble tea - thanks to my quick research, I found Snoice is only 5mins away from our new home! I wanted to make sure the quality is on-par with our expectations before recommending that this be our new boba place and here we are! We get drinks just about every week - since there's 3 of us, we have an easy rotation and we all know each other's order (although when I go, I love trying new things so my order varies!) Any time one of us goes, we always get 3 drinks! My roommate always gets the classic milk tea with boba and my boyfriend gets the Thai tea with boba. Boba is so good here, so it's a must! I try to try a new drink every time I come here- although my favorites are both the joker/island breeze and the ube/taro blend! In a pinch, I will get the Thai tea as backup. The service here is ALWAYS great. I've been here when it's very empty and slow and even when it gets very busy (on holidays). I've never had a bad experience! read more

I don't know if my last review will still show but this is an update from my last bad experience. Most of the time I've never had a bad experience or service here. The stars I gave was definitely not deserved especially if it ruins the business's credits for what really matters, the product. Honestly as much as I've been here, its either a hit or miss with service. Most of the time they're really good with service. I never stay to dine-in, so I can't speak upon the vibe that it gives while there. The guys that are there are really nice& offers tasty option choices when I'm being indecisive. I tried halo halo with ube ice cream because it has some good yelp review and I tried shave ice. I don't like either of them. The halo halo is not my favorite. The only think I like is the ube ice cream. Other than that, I don't like the halo halo at all. The shave ice is too sweet and it's not good. Customer services: great customer services. It's always hit or miss here. I got an avocado smoothie for my mom and she said it wasn't blended enough and there was still chunks of big ice.. I got the galaxy far away because I LOVE butterfly pea tea and I get lychee jelly, amazing. I am so proud that a local business like this is booming in the neighborhood I grew up in, Paradise Hills. The shaved snow is simply amazing. I currently live in Hawaii, so to ask me what I prefer between Hawaiian shave ice and shaved snow is like asking me to pick my favorite son or daughter! They are both uniquely delicious! I've tried the mango and honeydew flavors, and both are tasty with all-natural flavors! I like the boba topping with any shaved snow, and fresh coconut topping with the honeydew shaved snow. I've tried the shaved snow on both a plate and in a cup. The plate makes the snow look presentable, while the cup makes drinking melted shaved snow in the end easier. The halo halo does not disappoint as well. Anyone can customize their halo halo here for just a buck more! Your halo halo can be as healthy or as decadent as you want. Bonuses: friendly customer service, good for kids, a comfortable place to hang out or study indoors or outdoors, and its literal attachment to Kababayan Bakery for some savory Filipino food! Update review: I came back here with my Boi and it was kind of hot day in San Diego so Halo-Halo (Mix-mix) dessert was the cure! I ordered another custom Halo-halo and added more toppings like flan, crunch pinipig, more Ube ice cream and omg it makes a difference. Perfection!!! Yummy in my tummy ! Not too sweet. Aside from the original milk snow ice, you can choose flavors including: mango, strawberry, matcha, chocolate, thai tea, ube, etc. They also have a ton of different toppings to select from including mochi, fresh fruit, gummy bears, sprinkles, and cereal toppings. I've been here a few times now and it's pretty cool. I've tried their halo-halo (delicious), some milk teas (tasty) with boba, and now their ice cream. Staff is always friendly, and the place can get busy at times, but the drinks never take too long. My last visit I got a milk tea, and 2 scoops of ice cream (jackfruit, avocado) which they surprisingly (and generously) made into 4 scoops, leaving me so full afterwards. Very fast response with inquiries and Aiko was really helpful with helping us decide which package is best for our party.
