    Snooze Breakfast Burrito*
    Cindy R.

Sunday mornings are super busy but the wait went quickly plus our party had 6 so I'm sure larger parties are harder to sit when it's busy. I love that they have a coffee and water station with cups in the waiting area so you can have some while you wait. All the staff there have smiles ear to ear and I love that most have fun inspirational sayings on their shirts. Our waiter was the sweetest and stayed on top of everything although it was so busy so you can tell they're used to the chaos. The food came out fairly quick and very tasty but for the picky eaters their dishes may be too much for them like my guys. Since I love flavors I absolutely loved my garden omelette and salad. They paired so well together. My son devoured the burrito so I know he loved it but he prefers a simple breakfast taco. Their burrito is enormous and is meant to be eaten with a knife and fork. Of course, he still ate it with his hands. All the portions are huge. The cinnamon roll pancakes were fluffy and delicious but the caramel sauce threw it off and doesn't give a cinnamon roll taste but they were still delicious! If you're in the area I would certainly recommend them if you're a foodie. If you want simple then you may want to go to IHOP.

Always a good place go! First tried snooze in Colorado, then San Antonio and now in Lubbock. Never a miss regardless of where we go. The aesthetic is so inviting and different. Food options are great and have never received poor service.

BLT w/Spinach and Honey Mustard Sauce

I was so excited when I accidentally came upon a Snooze in Lubbock, Texas. I am originally from Denver where Snooze was a standard go-to and a go-to anytime back in Denver. I had no idea they had expanded into other states! It was almost closing time when I arrived and I really just wanted a BLT. I sat at the bar and the bartender was so sweet to special order me a BLT except with spinach. They don't normally carry "lettuce". She brought the sandwich to me with a honey mustard sauce as they also normally do not carry mayonnaise however, she was able to go into the back and find me a cup of mayonnaise to go with it as well. This sandwich was so delicious and along with their bloody Mary. I was a happy girl. Anything that reminds me of my beloved Denver. I am in and Snooze is no exception! It almost felt like I was sitting back in the Snooze on 6th Ave! Thank you Snooze for spreading the Denver love into other states! Can't wait to get back to Denver in August for another visit to Snooze on 6th Ave!

I'm obsessed with Snooze! Their strawberry pancakes are amazing! And they can make any pancakes gluten free!!! The kids plates are a decent size! They come with hashbrowns and fruit. The staff is always so friendly and kind here. Definitely a great place to grab breakfast or lunch!

After church, we picked up some amazing takeout at this local breakfast place on the Texas Tech campus. Hip vibe, cool decor, and very friendly service. Ordered AMAZING Vegan pancakes and tofu scramble for hubby, YUMMY sausage gravy on grilled biscuit with 2 over EZ, and a side of habanero pork belly for me. (Should've asked for extra gravy--next time!) Also got a side of sausage and hashbrowns. All SO TASTY! Fast, prepay order made easy via Door Dash. Well packaged, ready for pickup in 15. Sun Brunch in the RV was fab!

I was in Lubbock last weekend helping my college student move out of his dorm, which means--naturally--the city is absolutely packed- and it was Mothers Fay! So trying to find a place to eat was a bit of a challenge. I first tried the hotel restaurant, but that didn't work out. Then we headed to the Pancake House, where the hostess barely acknowledged our presence--no greeting, no welcome- Needless to say, we left. Thankfully, our next stop was Snooze, and let me just tell you--it was an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish. The moment I walked in, I was greeted by Sutton, who I can only describe as the most joyful, kind-hearted, energetic, and genuinely welcoming hostess I've ever met. She informed me there would be a 30-minute wait, but her enthusiasm and warmth made me feel like it was going to be worth every second. The food was phenomenal, the service was exceptional, and the atmosphere was perfect As I looked around, everyone--kids, families, adults--seemed to be enjoying their breakfast just as much as I was. There was a happy buzz in the room I'm now a full-fledged Snooze fan and will absolutely be returning. Sutton is a gem--her attitude and approach to customer service set the tone for what became the highlight of my morning. Please give that young girl a raise. She is the kind of person who makes your business stand out, and she's exactly who you want greeting every customer at the door.

I went a couple days ago and our absolute diva of a waitress, Dina I believe, ate the fuck down. She was the waitress with the cool pins and made the entire experience enjoyable. It was such a lovely meal and on top of that, we got another pancake with SPRINKLES and BUTTERCREAM FROSTING. Everything tasted so good and the price was quite lovely as well- genuinely one of the best restaurant experiences I have had in a long time. Restaurant was super crowded and wait times were 45 minutes but when you wait out in your car and be patient, it makes it all worth it. The music they play was super good and on top of the good service and good food, it was an absolute vibe. Promote that girl, Dina. To owner or manager at least. Maybe even a 600$ raise. Hats off awesome apron pins girl you absolute diva.

The service was great, but the food was a bit underwhelming. I ordered the Benny Duo and chose the Benny III along with the one topped with Parmesan hollandaise. Unfortunately, the eggs weren't consistent--one was overcooked--and the hashbrowns were cold, which was disappointing given that the restaurant wasn't busy at the time. My husband thought his omelette was just okay, though we both agreed the jam was excellent.

    spuds delight! Yum

Food was 10/10, the spuds delight actually became my favorite breakfast dish and my husband loved the pumpkin pancakes. Service was alright nothing notable they were very busy so we did have to wait for things a little longer. Also, since my husband is taller he needed more leg room so had to sit out a bit more he was bumped by staff twice while eating and they did not apologize. Vibe is nice I like that the back barista and bar area has an open wall where air can flow through, it reminds me of the SNOOZE back in San Diego where I am from so it's a nice touch to the decor. I would return! The green juice was also so tasty.

I was out having a beautiful night with my girlfriend. Life feels special when I get to spend time…read morewith her. As we were leaving our very special dinner date, we were driving through downtown Lubbock off Broadway when a place we had never seen before passed by the car window. In perfect unison and harmony, she and I said, "What place is that? Narrow Bar?" We had never seen it before. Was it new? Were we just blind all this time? Narrow Bar has been around. We truly have been blind all this time. Through my four years of college and then some, I had never heard of it. Tonight would change that. As I reached Avenue Q, we turned around to investigate. Narrow Bar is attached to the Wells Fargo building with, shockingly, a narrow indoor bar. The outside is what grabbed our attention: an expansive patio filled with a live music trio and young adults casually having a great time. Was this bar one of Lubbock's best-kept secrets? Having had a few drinks already, we agreed on a one-and-done experience to try this place out. We were handed an expansive drink menu listing four categories: classic cocktails, contemporary cocktails, signature cocktails, and mocktails. I immediately eyed one of my favorite cocktails, a Carajillo, while my girlfriend yearned for the IYKYK (a Porn Star Martini). Our server took our order, and it wasn't long before our drinks reached the table. My Carajillo came with one of those big ice cubes (an actual cube), which was awesome, and the drink itself was really well done. Their espresso cold brew gave it a strong coffee profile that wasn't as sharp as other Carajillos I've had, which I think benefited the drink, especially being mixed with the slightly citrusy Licor 43. As for my girlfriend, she was really excited for her martini and adored it, notably because it came with prosecco. The space is really nice on a cool Lubbock night as it faces the street of downtown Lubbock. The band playing was not a cheesy bar band but actually quite good, pulling some deeper tracks out of their hat, including "That Smell" by Lynyrd Skynyrd. The lead vocalist had this Steve Miller vocal inflection going on, so I requested any Steve Miller song, and we got the always enjoyable "Fly Like an Eagle." They had no tip jar sadly, but my hat goes off to you guys. It was a short experience, but a great impression enough to make us know we're coming back the next time I visit her in Lubbock. Listen up, this place is new (opened late Nov 2024) so they are still working out the kinks. I say this because there are two reviews on this place that mention negative things. IMHO I think thus far they are excelling and will only get better and better. We need to give them grace as they learn and grow. ***So please READ MY REVIEW and ignore the 1 stars.*** The food we ordered was tasty, affordable and came out quickly. Drinks for the entire table were on point. Shout out to Chet who will gladly curate a drink for you if you are not sure what you want. PRO TIP: Enter Soggy Dog through either of the double set of metal doors. Yes you are at the right place. I will take pictures of the entrance on my next visit.

The chips and queso were an appetizer but came out with the rest of the food. Queso was extremely burned so I asked for it to be removed from the ticket; instead, they replaced it with spicy broccoli cheese soup.
