Stopped while passing through on our way northwest from Georgetown. When someone combines chicken fried steak and an omelette into one dish, WINNER! The red velvet pancakes were also a huge win for the home team. Combine this with great service and cool people, breakfast tastes much better. Classic breakfast, yes. We need more of that these days. We stopped on a long road trip because this was the closest to the main highway for breakfast. The food was similar to an ihop or dennys which I like just fine. The waitress was attentive and food came out quickly. Portions were good. I cannot compliment the waitress enough. The only complaint is that I would highly recommend not using the women's restroom. The hall and women's restroom smell pretty bad, even early in the morning I would guess simply because they want you to put all paper products in the trash vs flushing. Including the TP. YES... be sure to try alllll the pancakes if you can--they also have Red Velvet and a cinnamon roll one (by the way, ask for the cinnamon sugar pancake syrup as well)... My oldest had: the Western Omelette and a breakfast burrito-- he loved them! My youngest had the Hungry Boy Breakfast (buttermilk pancakes, sausage, eggs, hash browns, and biscuits and gravy)--he put it away, and he's 10!
