Unfortunately, Snooze has been a huge let down. I have been four times now getting various things each time and it's simply not good enough. For the prices it should be very good food but it isn't. Almost every time a portion of or all of my food and the food of the people with me have been cold. Not warm. Cold to the touch. Additionally, some of the staff are just plain rude while some are quite pleasant. They claim to "busy" as an excuse for their attitude but it's not like I'm being a burden. Most of the time I'm simply just placing an order or politely asking for a waiter because the food is cold. This was probably the last time I'll come here. However, great location, food is just always cold and very mediocre. Note: I left 3 stars because although it's not for me, I can understand why others enjoy it. We ate here while visiting family. We were very pleasantly surprised. It doesn't look like the food and the energy would both be as great as they are when you see the outside of the building. It looks like a pretty fun establishment, but when we entered we were greeted with such enthusiasm ! We were seated right away and our server was happy to see us and take our order. The food was very good. We were asked how we were doing throughout the meal. AND very reasonably priced! I recommend this restaurant ! We went there again and the pancakes are fabulous ! read more

Was visiting my niece who crushed and opera performance with TT Opera by the way. Don Giovanni - it's a long opera - but good especially when performed by great students and teachers. This Snooze just opened this week. they were slammed on Sat morning and everything was great. We have a five top and crushed it - no drinks as had to drive back to houston. read more

Not only was the service horrible when it came to the waitlist, the lady said we were first in line yet it took an additional 30 minutes and sat 6 parties when we were "first in line", but the silverware that was given to us had food on it. It was absolutely disgusting. read more

Our experience at Snooze was OK. The food was decent. The service was slow at times, but not terrible, for us. However, the tables are really close together and the couple next to us waited probably 20 minutes before someone took their order. They weren't super busy and them being forgot about made me feel uncomfortable. The atmosphere was a little odd. We came to Snooze on the super busy Sunday morning of Homecoming and Parents weekend. The wait for brunch was long as expected, but we were able to hop on to the waiting list an hour and a half before our desired brunch time. I personally tried the Double Bacon Sandwich and thought it was phenomenal. So much flavor and the hash browns were yummy as well. Can never go wrong with the pancake flight and a good cup of coffee. I have to be honest when I walked in I thought I made a mistake going I there to eat because after looking at the menu I thought this food is going to suck. Just like that yoke restaurant. I ordered the classic breakfast a side order of maple and pepper bacon, one plain pancake and a coffee. The food was actually delicious, the coffee was good, The service was good and the setting was very good. No complaints about those. I do have to say it's very price I was surprised about that. Use the reservation service on Snooze's website/app to secure a table! Waiting for a table without a reservation is worth the wait if you've never been, but you will wait for a long long long time. Servers are beyond amicable & helpful without being overbearing or rushing you to finish and leave. I have tried multiple dishes & nothing has ever tasted even slightly bad. Always try their seasonal offerings & ask what special drinks they have - again, nothing has disappointed me so far. We have eaten at this restaurant a dozen times since it opened and we have yet to have a single positive experience. We finally walked out today after waiting 20 minutes past our original wait time because they sat multiple parties before us that came in after us. We had two adults and one baby in a high chair, but the interior designers of this restaurant chain have planned terribly where very few tables can accommodate high chairs. The hosts have not been properly trained on how to seat people strategically at tables to leave certain tables available for families who need a high chair. They act like they are so busy that they don't have to value their customer's experience. If we walk out, they'll seat someone else. There are plenty of breakfast and brunch places in Lubbock that are much more deserving of your business. Go support local businesses. read more

Snooze...such a great name and very fitting for the food and service. I had friends in from out of town and wanted to share a new experience with them. My mistake. Snooze was the biggest disappointment in all of Lubbock's food scene. The service was as bad. No one wanted to help each other. We watched our hot lattes sit on the bar until luke warm, as noone wanted to deliver them. We never received refills on our regular drinks,and the food arrived with hotter plates than food. 3 Benedicts and a hash, with a sweet potato pancake and Snooze Special bacon. All room temperature. The uniqueness of the pancake earned it the star. Though it was barely warm and had the syrup already applied. It may be different on a slower weekday. You might ask why we didn't send it back...all of us, combined, have over 50 years in the restaurant business. Sending it back, with the lack of service, would have the same results in the food we had already waited for over 45 minutes (not counting our wait for a table). Plus, it is a gauge of the kitchen's timing and service to table. My suggestion is stay away on the weekends. Head to Rachel's or All American Eatery for HOT food, beyond Excellent Service, and family atmosphere. read more

This is a really cute place! I sat at the bar and the servers/bartenders were really nice and helpful while not being overbearing. I came around 9:30 on a Saturday morning and just missed the rush, it started to get busy around 10. The food was really good, the all meat omelette was on point.
