Busy wait times for a Sunday morning brunch. It was roughly 40-50 minutes for a group of 6. We got seated at a round table. I loved the aesthetic inside the restaurant (retro vibes). The staff was friendly, but slower, and our waiter forgot some of my items. But, it was resolved. The food was great, felt fresh, and there looked to be something for everyone.

Another AZ favorite in Nashville. Service was excellent. Food was good. It's the only place I can get a gluten free Benedict. Will be back! Parking can be validated.

I love the vibe of this place. It feels like what an old 50s diner might have looked like when it was new and not faded over the past 3/4s of a decade. Retro throwback perfection. The staff was great, super friendly and on it with the recomendations. I got the Sweet Potato Pancakes which were delish. I loved the hint of ginger in the butter. My friend got the protein bowl which actually looked better in person than the photos on the website (which is so rare!). The pancakes were nearly as big as my face, so I'm glad I didn't order a side (which I almost did) as I was stuffed!

I arrived around 7:30 a.m., and the restaurant was empty. The staff immediately welcomed me in and were very friendly throughout my visit. I ordered the buttermilk pancakes, a side sausage patty, a biscuit, and a French toast latte. My food arrived in about 15 minutes, which was perfectly reasonable, and my waitress was kind and attentive. As you can see in the photos, the pancake portion was generous--two large pancakes that were fluffy and flavorful. They were sweet, but not overly sweet. My only complaint is the syrup portion. They serve it in a very small metal ramekin, and for pancakes this size, I think at least two or three are needed. I asked for another, but it's something they may want to consider. The biscuit was also very good. It was sliced and toasted, with a fluffy texture and great flavor. The butter served with it paired nicely, adding just the right amount of saltiness. The sausage patty was solid as well--larger than what most restaurants serve and nicely seasoned with a good amount of spice. The only slight disappointment was that the side order included just one patty, though for most people that would probably be enough. The French toast latte was unfortunately the weakest part of the meal. It wasn't very hot when it arrived, and it came topped with a piece of French toast that was so hard it was essentially inedible. I drank most of the latte, but it had an unexpected spicy finish that I wasn't a fan of. I have attached my receipt as well. For a breakfast for one, I found the price to be on the higher side, especially when compared to places like Pancake Pantry and Eggstravaganza Cafe, where the portions are often larger and offer a bit more value for the money. Overall, this is a nice establishment with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. As someone who pays attention to restaurant bathrooms, I was also impressed by the men's restroom--it was clean, well-maintained, and had a pleasant aesthetic. Despite a few minor issues, I enjoyed my visit and will return to try other items on the menu.

I liked it. A good breakfast spot in the East End. Inside has plenty of booth seating. There's also bar and outside patio seating. A few TVs over the full bar to watch a game. The food is good. It's a large menu with breakfast classics and a few specials. I got the biscuits and gravy. Really hit the spot and exactly what I needed after a long night lol. Portion was decent but you might want to add another side to get full. I added some crispy bacon. Service was good. Friendly staff.

As someone who embodies "Snooze in the A.M." as a lifestyle choice, I am never hyped to get up in the morning and eat. But shout out to Yelp - I found Snooze, an A.M. Eatery! Suddenly I was hyped. Started off with a Boozy Strawberry Lavender Lemonade for me (I don't drink alcohol, but exceptions were made), and OMG French Toast for the table. I pivoted to the Boozy Blackberry Mint Limeade for a second dreamy beverage treat. The server sensed that one wasn't hitting the same (the limeade was SOOOO strong), so she swapped it out for me--back to another Boozy Strawberry Lavender Lemonade! Without me asking. Figuring out what the diner needs and handling it before the diner asks (or was never going to change) - that's service! Brunch food I went for the Protein & Veggie Egg White Omelet and OMG, the chicken sausage in this thing was next-level. I even tried to make chicken sausage when I got home--and nailed it. Despite being called a "bird of an eater," I finished the entire omelet too because *determination* ya'll. The vibe was as hoped for, the outdoor seating was chill, and even my picky eater companion finished her Goldilocks porridge which looked warm, nutritious, and satisfying. If you're in East Nashville, this spot is a must. I'll definitely be back on my next trip!

Snooze clearly cares. The coffee was excellent. The server was fabulous. The hot chocolate came with a smiley face drawn in syrup for the kids. The general manager came out at the end with a recovery plate, genuinely trying to make it right. These are good people doing good work. But the menu is an argument with itself. They have a section called "The Art of Hollandaise." It is, in every measurable way, a scream for culinary attention. Cream cheese hollandaise. Smoked cheddar hollandaise. Habanero cream cheese hollandaise. Very creative. Very much not hollandaise. So I asked the server: do you have actual hollandaise? No. Do you have anything on the menu that's just plain breakfast? There was one thing. Eggs, bacon, hash browns, toast. One. Item. My kids ordered strawberry shortcake pancakes and chocolate chip pancakes. They were so loaded with stuff -- so aggressively, sweetly there -- that neither of them could finish. And these are kids who will eat sugar straight from the bowl. I was going to pass on eating entirely, because honestly, the menu didn't work for me, but the server talked me into ordering eggs over easy. Over easy means whites cooked firm, yolks runny. I've learned to spell it out because apparently it's a different language in every region. What arrived was over medium with a brown, lacy, crunchy crust all over it. The kind of crust I specifically didn't want. I sent it back. Politely. The GM appeared 45 minutes later with a corrected plate that actually looked good. Too late. Here's the thing: Snooze is not a bad restaurant. The people are genuinely nice. The service is sharp. But the menu doesn't live in reality. It's a beautiful fever dream where simple breakfast went to culinary school and came back unable to just be breakfast. You don't need to improve the people. Your people are top notch. You need to improve the menu. Give people the plain thing they asked for. Maybe keep the artistry, but also keep the basics. You're trying very hard. Try a little less hard.

We had a great experience at Snooze! The service was warm and friendly--although we did have to wait a bit for our water, the incredible food more than made up for it. Our server, Al, went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. I ordered the classic Eggs Benedict along with the green chile Benedict featuring shredded beef. The spices were absolutely mouthwatering--some of the best flavors I've had in Nashville! Easily one of the top Benedicts I've ever tasted. My husband got the Denver omelette, which he generously shared with me, and it was just as delicious. The side of fresh fruit rounded out our brunch beautifully. We'll definitely be back--though hopefully when it's not quite so busy. Expect a 20-30 minute wait on weekends, but it's totally worth it. The location is super convenient, but avoid paying for parking--it's overpriced. Just drive around the neighborhood and you'll likely find a free spot. Happy brunching--we hope you enjoy it as much as we did!

My server made it great. My son and I came in 7/31 to enjoy the vegan pancakes and me the pork belly Benny while the Benny was by far the star of the show during the first visit the hash browns were lacking. I did mention to my server who said that was the best they could do because the grill is set at a certain temp. Mind you while my last visit at Snoozy in Colorado Springs was amazing. The hashbrowns were cooked perfectly, which let me know they could be made more crispy. The server was not attentive and really seemed like my request for more crispy hashbrowns was more of an annoyance. The manager stopped by and I mentioned to him about the hashbrowns and he agreed to make a new batch and make sure it was crispy. He also gave me a voucher for a free pancake, which was a nice gesture fast forward two days later I came back to redeem my voucher and because my son loves the vegan banana pancake. This time I had the pork belly fried rice after receiving a great recommendation from my server, and I tried the strawberry shortcake pancake. The fried rice was great. The perfect amount of heat and the flavor was nice although it did not have a lot in the rice the pieces that were there for flavorful and the dish overall hot. Definitely compliments to the chef for making two perfectly fried eggs. What made, this visit shine more than the other, was not in the food qualities but more so in the service from the server. She was so attentive during one of her past realized I did not like the strawberry shortcake, pancake as much, and offered to have a regular pancake made instead. The pancake was delicious. It was hot and perfectly made pancakes. Great job.

You don't want to snooze on this breakfast/brunch spot and their protein menu! Our food was delivered very quickly even though it seemed very busy. The bright colors make the space feel so vibey, and the patio is AMAZING for days with good weather. What I ordered: To drink: Vanilla latte, Abri-Ca-Lav-Ra Mimosa, & Spicy bloody To eat: Protein Pancakes (32g of protein), Habanero Pork Belly Fried Rice (52g of protein), Bacon but Different, & side of grits Parking: There's a pay to park lot behind the building & street parking around.

Just two girls that just ate the best breakfast in Nashville!

THE BEST BREAKFAST AROUND I MEAN LOOK HOW HAPPY WE LOOK AFTER -- we both ordered coffee drinks followed by juices and wow they were all phenomenal. Both of our breakfast foods are amazing.

The only downside is that I feel like they close the patio/space a little early around 10 PM, and after that the inside gets extremely packed and it's hard to move around. The service was not great, unfortunately. It was just so slow, every step took FOREVER. We would have gotten dessert but the waitress never came back. I finally stood up, put my jacket on, and stood next to our table, as a hint that we were ready for the check. 3/5 stars for service. Now the food. Do you see those fries?? They are some of the most unique fries I've ever had. Crispy AND chewy on the outside, light and fluffy on the inside. Served with bernaise, these alone are worth coming back for! The burger fell flat IMO. My husband liked it better than I did, but it didn't have much flavor. Some might say it needed ketchup, but for me it was more than that. It was a case where it seemed to have all the right ingredients but didn't "pop". It comes out wrapped in paper which is a fun touch, but didn't seem that hot and also was a little soggy, which made me wonder how long it sat before they brought it. We wanted ketchup for the fries too, BTW, but the server never came back to check on us. My husband's NY sour was a little strange. We love different "takes" on classic cocktails, but this one just didn't work. The waitress seemed unsure as to whether they could make this drink, and maybe she was correct. 3.5 stars for cocktails/food. We will definitely come back. My hope is that the burger was just a one-time miss and that next time it will be perfect. We also want to try the smoked fish dip. Such a cool neighborhood spot!

When I walked in I, immediately, thought of Haven (RIP https://www.yelp.com/biz/haven-miami-beach-2). From the LED wall to the music to the drinks to the vibe... I didn't feel like I was in Nashville anymore. the back corner stands out and gives Middle Tennesseans something that's not readily available in this area. If you're in the mood for a little coastal cosmopolitanness (is that word? It's not a word), the back corner is about to be your new favorite place. The neighborhood gets things moving in the right direction. For as much as Germantown has (scenic streets, fancy high rises, coffee, good eats) it didn't have a nightlife destination. Putting one here makes a lot of sense. Building off the 5th & Taylor imprint, the back corner starts off fancy (but not pretentious) and builds to memorable. Upon entry, the first thing you notice is the LED wall and stage. With a changing display of electronic intoxication, you're drawn into a world far away from Lower Broad. If you can break your gaze away from the stage, you'll notice the upper and lower lounge seating. Intimate, cozy and a bit mysterious, the seating at the back corner lets you decide whether you want to be front & center or if you're rather sit back and take it all in. You can be as public or private as you'd like. If indoor seating isn't your thing, make your way outside to enjoy the fire pit and Germantown night sky. Just do us all a favor and refrain from smoking. Seeing cigarette butts along the patio or by (in??) the fire pit is not sexy and very off-brand. All the above said and noted, the back corner is not a huge space -- which is a plus and minus. It's a plus because it never becomes the cavernous mess of bass and desperation. The minus is crowds gonna crowd and with a lot of people, the space will be tight. I don't know how to fix that. I suppose a velvet rope and waitlist will keep crowds at bay but neither feels very Nashville. Hmm... Another minus (relating to the size) is that there's only one bar. One bar in a space this cool is a bit tight. I know the space behind the bar isn't huge but I would staff it with 3 bartenders at a time so as to keep up with the crowd. Because you're going to want to drink. A lot. The cocktail program at the back corner is a bit unusual for Nashville -- and very Miami. Expect rum, colors and a boozy punch. Actually, the menu could use a punch. Get on that, tbc. Re drink progression... start with the gimlet. It's pretty to look at and refreshing to drink. All the mixers, juices, etc. are made in house so you're getting quality fare. From there, hit the No. 4 and, then, the No. 2. If you're still upright, drink some water. Water? Who am I kidding? Cocktails! You're in Miami, [redacted]! Well, sorta. If you need some noshes, 5th & Taylor is serving up bites. Don't come here for dinner. Who eats food? Let the music and booze nourish your body. As perfect as the back corner is for DJ sets, live music (this *is* Nashville, after all) works as well. the back corner isn't the Downtown dance club people have wanted for a (looooong) while. But it is a welcome addition to the city's nightlife scene and, very possibly, you're new favorite place to go. Bienvenidos a Nashville.

The sauce was spectacular and really stole the show. I also appreciated that everything is made in-house, and you can tell there's a lot of care and effort that goes into the food. That being said, I felt that some of the dishes were a little overpriced for what you're actually getting. The quality was good, but at the price point, I was expecting to be a bit more impressed.

We sat at the oyster bar, which was a cool spot to watch the kitchen in action. We ordered the whiskey rebellion and the gold rush for a drink - both good, but the whiskey rebellion was definitely better. We started with the octopus and smoked fish dip - both absolute must do's! The octopus was so unique - lightly fried and was served similar to calamari. The smoked fish dip was so fresh and flavorful - not your run of the mill smoked dip! For the entrees, we had the mussels and fettuccine with a side of carrots. Mussels were good, but as expected with this dish. The fettuccine was seriously fantastic - you gotta try this one! Living just a couple blocks away, I am excited to have a new favorite within a stone's throw. Can't wait to go back and order new things!

There was only one wood fired oyster option - green curry oyster - which was delicious. We ordered two plates of it. We each ordered a drink which was $10 because of happy hour, we decided to add the gnocchi after seeing the table next to us order it and it was delicious and after the oysters the perfect meal to split between the two of us. Service was great, everyone was super helpful and we were celebrating a birthday and the menu had Happy Birthday on it. The restaurant was about 50% full and filling up as we ate but still quiet and cozy. Would recommend and would definitely return for the oysters!
