Place was very quiet and empty for a Friday early e evening at 4pm. We were seated right away and the server room our drink orders and then explained how it worked as we had never be there! Food was very good and we weren't disappointed! Pricing was fair with quality and size of crab legs. I'm sure there are other places that would meet the needs of my husband and grown so sons who felt the legs were on the small size for the price!

Order placed over the phone, was told that it would be ready in 10 to 12 minutes. I arrived 20 minutes later, then had to wait in store for 20+ minutes before receiving my order. There was only one customer eating inside & that was it. No clue what I was waiting for. Got the food home, it actually looked pretty good. Was excited to finally try it only to be disappointed. Shrimp was overcooked to the point the shells were sticking to the mushy meat & soft like wet paper. Crawfish was waterlogged & had clearly been frozen for a while. While eating I also bit into a potato and chipped one of my teeth on something hard that was in or on one of the potatoes. Try at your own risk

Tried something new at the son in laws request. Our group of 7 had a great outing at Snow and Crab and experienced our first seafood boil. The gumbo and clam chowder were great starters while we waited for our bags of seafood. All of the bags were delicious- we had jumbo shrimp and sausage, our kids had basically everything- shrimp, crawfish, sausage, potato and the boiled egg and our friends explored the mussels, potatoes and sausage- all full house spiced. Hubby had the catfish plate that was delicious and gluten free! Restaurant was small but humble and was the perfect vibe for a dinner you have to work for- simply decorated and very industrial.Cajun Seafood-yum.

I was excited to try this place because I would always see it as I drove by. We came in yesterday afternoon to try it out. Was very quiet for a Friday evening in there, but I figured maybe it would get busier a little later. It's pretty spacious inside with a good amount of seating available. Our hostess greeted us & showed us to our table & gave us a menu. I chose the pound of peeled shrimp full house spicy & I also got the clam chowder. My husband ordered the clams & mussels full house mild with rice. Personally I did not like their sauce, the spice was there which was nice; however there was a sweetness about the sauce that I really did not like. It didn't taste Cajun like a seafood boil should. So for me that was very off putting. The clam chowder came out boiling hot , I couldn't eat for a few good minutes. When I did get the eat it, it was just okay. Kind of bland. My husband said he really liked his food items but I didnt try any. To be honest this place is nothing special, especially if you are a well versed seafood boil eater. I don't think I will be back.

Frozen strawberries in their shaved ice. Fresh strawberries would've been better.

Got a pound of shrimp and they were so mushy, it's disgusting. The taste was on point but wish the shrimp was fresh.

The place was was nicely decorated. The bathrooms were nice and clean (not funny smells). The dinning area was spotless with updated sort of nautical beach hints. The food was delish from the symphony of the warm bread crust all the way to tartness of the key lime pie. Come here... you will not regret it.

When we were seated, we asked for a high chair three separate times before one was finally brought to our table. The high chair turned out to be too small for our son, so we asked if we could use a booster seat on the end chair instead. The server seemed hesitant, mentioning she wasn't sure she'd be able to get by the chair. We said that was fine and instead placed the booster seat between my wife and me. After struggling to get our son comfortable, we eventually realized the booster seat has two different height settings depending on which side is facing down. It would have been helpful if that had been pointed out when it was brought to the table. Throughout the meal, our server seemed distracted and wasn't around very often. Our food was brought out by other staff members, which isn't necessarily a problem by itself, but combined with the lack of check-ins it made the service feel disconnected. The biggest disappointment came when I took my son outside while we waited. The benches, chairs, and handrails in the waiting area were covered in bird droppings. There were spider webs in multiple places, and the entrance to the restaurant itself looked dirty. I understand the restaurant is going for an old harbor or fishing-boat atmosphere, but there's a big difference between rustic and neglected. Instead of feeling charming or nautical, it felt like years of dirt and grime had simply been left in place. I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews, but basic cleanliness and attentive service are things I expect from any restaurant, especially when dining with a young child. I hope management takes this as constructive feedback because the restaurant has potential, but our experience left us with little desire to return.

It was my first time here so I wasn't really sure what to order. And I just noticed after ordering that there is a self kiosk available too... I didn't get her name but, she helped explain the menu items and recommended the FLAUTAS! She also gave a sample of the horchata and I really liked it... AMBIANCE: 10/10 Really nice indoor lighted patio feel. It's perfect for a date night or any occasion. I wasn't expecting it to look so cute and authentic inside... OK so let's talk about the food... FISH TACOS: 10/10 I liked it very much! I thought it was amongst the best in town. Their biggest contender is probably Los Tacos. But, they can win on the quality, portions and pricing. The lunch special was $9.99 and it came with rice and beans. FLAUTAS: 8/10 I wish I ate this right away because if you take it home it will get soggy. The closed box and lettuce and sauces made it mushy. I think I would definitely ask if they can kindly separate the lettuce and keep the box open so the flats stay crunchy next time. It has a nice flavor and texture though... HORCHATA: 9/10 I'm very picky with horchata. To me, it can't be too sweet, too milky or too cinnamony. This horchata was close to perfect. I actually got a nice flavor of the rice, it was not too sweet or watered down and has the right amount of cinnamon. I really like and just prefer it a tad bit thicker or creamier. But, it's definitely one of the best in town! The salsa bar is so nice and CLEAN! The cleanest one I believe I've seen in town. And they are very generous with their salsa bar. There were onions, lime, pickled carrots and radishes. All were very FRESH!! Can't wait to come back and try their other dishes!

On Saturday we wandered into TCI for dinner and started with the heirloom tomato and burrata with crostini. It was so fresh and delicious that I briefly considered writing the tomatoes a thank-you note. Next came the Harvest Valley Salad, which somehow managed to make me genuinely excited about lettuce--an achievement that deserves recognition from the culinary Olympics. For our entrée we ordered the Wagyu Steak Frites with chimichurri. The steak was cooked so perfectly it should probably be framed instead of sliced. Every bite was fantastic. We finished with the ube panna cotta, which was elegant, silky, and the kind of dessert that makes you promise you'll "just have one bite" before accidentally eating half of it. Nathan took wonderful care of us all evening. He was warm, friendly, attentive, and struck that perfect balance between making us feel welcome and giving us time to enjoy the gorgeous patio. Watching the sunset with live music in the background and that spectacular view? It was one of those evenings that quietly reminds you why people go out to eat in the first place. Apparently we enjoyed ourselves so much that we came back the very just two days for lunch. (Scientific research requires repeat testing.) We started with the hummus, which arrived looking like it belonged in an art gallery. Fortunately, it tasted every bit as good as it looked. Then came the chile relleno, which was absolutely outstanding. If this dish ever goes missing, I'd recommend checking my refrigerator first. Faith was wonderfully friendly and outgoing, and our food expeditor, David, was so genuinely warm and personable that by the time he left the table, it felt like we'd known him for years. Restaurants can teach hospitality, but that kind of kindness is simply who some people are. My only tiny suggestion: please turn on the patio misters during these triple-digit California afternoons. The food was keeping us warm emotionally; the weather was handling the rest. And on the way out we let Christine know the carpets at the entrances needed a vacuum. Fantastic food, exceptional service, beautiful views, and an atmosphere that keeps drawing us back. Cork Fire Kitchen has once again reminded us why it's one of our favorite places to dine. Bravo to the entire team!
