Decent place, inside the H-Mart grocery store. It was a little busy today but we didn't have an…read moreextremely long wait. It definitely was a little pricier than I expected and only offered one size. $6.50 for the smoothie with boba. I got the mango strawberry flavor with boba. I should have asked for less boba as it's not really my thing, coz there was a ton! I feel like it takes me way too long to eat/drink it when there's that many boba inside. Hubby got the three berry smoothie with boba and drank it all up pretty fast! He really liked it. And our son tried the mango smoothie with Boba but didn't really like the boba which is why I wish more sizes were offered. My mango strawberry was real good in flavor though, maybe next time ill ask for less boba is all, because I really enjoyed the taste of the smoothie.

This is inside H-Mart, which I grocery shop at. So, I decided to try since kiddos wanted boba. We…read moreordered the slushees, milk teas, and Korean waffles. Slushees: mango, strawberry, and watermelon slushees with popping strawberry and mango. Mango and strawberry were good, but watermelon was too sweet for my taste buds. The pops are fun while they burst in your mouth. Milk teas: regular and honeydew. The regular milk tea was a bit bland. The honeydew was well balanced, not too sweet. The Korean waffles are filled with chocolate or red bean. Tried both, fresh and hot. Pretty tasty, I actually enjoyed the red bean more. This could easily be a 4 star if their service was quicker and friendlier. It was a Saturday afternoon and there was only 1 employee. The line was long. She had to take and complete each order at a time before she took the next order. So the service was slow. I tipped her because she worked hard, but there was no "hi... thank you..." just took our order and that was it.

I absolutely loved my coffee and dessert-- there were so many unique options, I am looking forward…read moreto coming back here to try the others. The service was really friendly, even though they were super busy. Apparently, the space, while still called Coffee Story, has new owners. So they've kept many of the Korean favorites (and the mochi donuts-- yay!), but a lot of the dessert and coffee options now are inspired by SWANA (Southwest Asian and North African) cultures.

I ended up getting the Biscoff Latte with oat milk and the mixed berry croffle. If you like sweet drinks like me, then the Biscoff latte is really up your alley. The mixed berry croffle was also pretty good. I expected the croffle to be more flaky because the base is a croissant but it was still pretty good. Although I didn't get pictures of the inside, there's plenty of seating but beware that the tables inside can be quite small for a group of 2 coming in to work or study. Make sure to come early enough to snag one of the tables with more chairs so you have more space. Also they are open really late. I believe it's 11 p.m. or 12 a.m. which is great! Make sure to check their website for hours. Otherwise, I really liked the ambience and the space so I'll definitely be coming back again. I really need to come back and try their matcha and their honeycomb, amongst other things.
