The beans were flavorful, the mac and cheese was creamy and delicious, and the cornbread was the perfect finishing touch. The only downside is that it gets pretty crowded, especially during peak hours, so I recommend finding a seat as soon as you get there. The bark on it was heavily seasoned. Beef ribs were tender but again quite dry and overly seasoned. The dish that immediately ruined our meal was the jalapeño cheddar sausage. The texture was extremely mushy and the meat inside tasted like someone already did the chewing for you. We also got the mac and cheese, corn, basbusa, banana pudding. I could explain them in depth, but I would just recommend not getting them. The brisket empanadas were the only thing we all looked at each other with excitement for! Not only was I surprised, but I also think this is going to be my go-to dish in the future. Why?
