Wouldn't let us sit at a table, had to pull a chair up to the booth. The wait staff was clueless and there were too many of them there. Food wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. Bugs crawling up the wall next to me while I ate. Terrible portions for the price. Overall -10000/10 read more

We've bern here for lunch several times. We've always been happy until today. The Vietnamese rice noodle bowls with grilled shrimp or pork are some of my favorites. Today I was presented with a rice noodle bowl with stir fried shrimp and gravy glopped on top of it!! It didn't even look appetizing. The usual Vietnamese fish sauce on the side. I was told they don't have time to grill the shrimp or pork anymore so this is what you get. I refused the dish. My husbands Singapore noodles and the rib appetizer were still very good. We'll go back but I won't be ordering the Vietnamese rice noodle bowls again. Extremely disappointed. Really, how long does it take to grill shrimp? read more

Really great place. Brand new--been twice for their Pad Thai--it is that good. Great lunch specials. Lunch includes the dish, rice, egg roll and a choice if soup. We also got their hot jasmine tea which was fantastic. Great menu with Chinese, Vietnamese and Thai dishes--I even think maybe Kimchi. Good service. Restaurant is small but big enough. Have always had good food and service here but not today. Our waiter seemed very uninterested and I had to go up front and ask for more water. Took forever to get our check and if there was adult supervision there today, it wasn't apparent. Besides our waiter, the other folks that were working there seemed intent on visiting, walking around, playing. I'll give it another try, but it was off today. Food delicious, had beef vermicelli bowl with pork rolls. I have eaten Asian food all over the U.S., and was surprised at the depth of flavor and freshness of the dish. Husband and I decided to give this restaurant a test drive, so we dropped in during the lunch special hrs (1p-3p). Small but very cozy feel to the place, our waiter..Jason(light colored eyes fella) was very nice and informative about the menu. Lunch pricing was decent, food came out pretty quickly and the veggies you can tell are fresh. Basically, we were happy with everything and will definitely be back. BEST ASIAN RESTAURANT IN KERRVILLE. Peggy the owner used to work at China Town I believe and was their best (and my favorite) waitress. It's like she took all the things I love about China Town and did away with everything they did wrong... Customer service here is far superior, food looks/smells/tastes fresher and is always piping hot. More options are available and everything looks so good. Great selection of drinks, alcoholic or otherwise, good location, easy to find, and atmosphere is very relaxing and calm while still feeling quite elegant. Prices are fair, portions are excellent, and all around I have never been disappointed. read more

Excellent service, delicious food. It's vegetarian-friendly, and we particularly enjoyed the vegetarian lettuce wraps. My meat-eating family was also very happy with the spare ribs. Entree portions are generous. Vegetables are fresh are perfectly cooked. We were traveling and stopped there on a weekday, and it was hopping at 3 pm. I come to Kerrville every week for business and this restaurant will now be a must for lunch. I had the Lemmon grass chicken and it was delicious, the chicken was tender and cooked perfectly one of the best I have ever had. The service was also very good. They have a very extensive lunch menu, priced right with both Chinese and Thai entrees. Now if I could just find an Asian restaurant this good near where I live in San Antonio. Kerrville is so lucky to have this high quality Asian restaurant. read more

GREAT Chinese food, and great service. The sesame chicken was fresh and crispy. The egg drop was just as SAVORY. The wontons that went into the egg drop soup were stale so I chose to omit them. That did not hamper the overall visit. My favorite thing about this place is how CLEAN it was. I love me a clean table. read more

Ate lunch here after church today. If you eat here for lunch, don't be intimidated by the menu, turn to the back and find a very complete selection of lunch specials at very reasonable prices. I had shrimp with vegetables, my wife had happy family and our guest had sweet & sour chicken. All was good. My shrimp had about 10 large shrimp. A generous serving. I came here for lunch-specials run from 650-8.95. I still long for the 5.95 days and those lunch specials that include tea. Restaurant decor is decent and tasteful, service seems fine. I ordered general tsos chicken, and it's ok, but a little spongy. Flavors are nice. Rangoon should be called cream cheese Rangoon, not crabmeat. Hot and sour soup was good. I thought this would be excellent, based on amount of cars in parking lot and previous reviews. It's not excellent based on this plate, but not bad. Way better than anything in boerne, where I live. I may revise review if I eat here again, but three stars seems right on this initial visit. read more
