If I could put 0 stars I would. First the service was terrible , waiter took forever to come to our table , when he finally came over he just asked us if we liked skinny margaritas & we said yes & he just brought some over. We thought it was a general question because we still weren't ready to order our food & still got charged for the drinks. He never came back to take our order so we didn't get to order food , finally he came and we just requested the check. Then when we were leaving this Spanish girl with medium long black wavy hair and a thick accent chased us down the sidewalk aggressively asking if we paid, which we did & she told us to come back not believing we did. She asked this other male waiter that wasn't our waiter asking him if we paid , he basically told her what was she talking about. She didn't even asked where we were sitting , just aggressively accused us of not paying. She should not be anywhere near customer service. She was working the night of 12.12.23, stay away. read more

Guys, never order take out from here. It's a disaster. I've been here for 4 times since I moved to Brickell. Food is good, service needs improvement. One time, I was waiting for 15mins for someone to take my order. Today I ordered two tacos pick-up through postmate. I got the notification to pick up, so went downstair, and the waitress told me they shared kitchen with Lolita so my order has not been ready yet. It has been 45mins. I waited for another 10mins, talked to the girl at Lolita, and she told me SoCal and Lolita has two kitchens. She asked the kitchen about my order and the kitchen said I need to wait 30 more mins. Wow, 2 tacos for 75 mins? You went too far. Not recommended. read more

I really wanted to like this place, but service was a disaster. When the server first came to our table, we said that we were ready to order food and drink, and ordered two different margaritas, a chicken burrito, and a steak quesadilla. My dinner date asked what the upcharge would be to change the tequila. The server said that he didn't know, and would go ask. He disappeared and did not come back for five minutes. After taking our drink order a second time, he asked "did you want any food to go with that?" What? We already ordered food. Waiter looked confused, we give the order again. Five minutes later waiter comes back again and says that they do not have any steak, so we change the quesadilla to chicken. Fifteen minutes later the food arrives, but we still have no drinks. We ask the runner to check on our drinks. Five minutes later again the server appears and hastily drops off two drinks, apologizes, and leaves. I'm not sure what the drinks are... they are identical (we ordered two different drinks) tequila-something's with a huge amount of egg white foam on top. Mine has foam overflowing down the sides, making the glass and table sticky. We give up trying to fix the order again and eat quickly and leave. Small outdoor taco bar. The tacos were fantastic, the chicken is marinated in a tangy, spicy seasoning called red crack (only 3 bucks on Taco Tuesday's) The owner was hand squeezing limes next to the bar for the margaritas (only 6 bucks on Taco Tuesday's). A definite spot to hit around brickell, especially on a Tuesday! Also a great spot to watch the FIFA games as there are TVs everywhere on the patio. read more

Me and my fiancée went to SoCal on Sunday 03/24 we had San Diego and Santa Monica Tacos and Chicken Quesadilla, and 2 Coronas! The quesadilla was just cheese, and both tacos where terrible. The waiter was really good guy. The food was terrible. I don't recommend the place and the check at the end was $55 dollars. read more

We ate here for the first time last night. Maybe because we're from California and are spoiled with outstanding Mexican food, but there tacos and guacamole we're absolutely horrible. Both taco tortillas and meat were hard and cold. We had a feeling it wasn't going to be a good experience when the guacamole and chips were awful, but kept our fingers crossed for the tacos. Such wasn't the case, much to our disappointment. We weren't the only ones, as the couple next to us had the same issues, we both commiserated in our dreadful food. I've had several of their tacos, but my fave is the fish taco. It's saying a lot because I'm not even a "taco person." I just came here with someone else who likes tacos and got hooked. Great service. Super attentive. Delicious tacos (had the beef, chicken and steak ones). And my girlfriend had the pork, chicken and mushroom tacos which were exceptional. The pork was our favorite. My favorite tacos AND drinks! Happy hour goes til 8pm with $7 specialty cocktails. I recommend Gardner's Margarita, Socal Special (that foam tho!), or Grass Clippings. If you're not into tequila and like something spicy, try the Chile Mule. The other "secret" to this place is $3 tacos on Taco Tuesday. The Tijuana is exactly what you wish Taco Bell really tasted like. And the Rodeo drive and guacamole even makes my vegetarian friends happy. Really good! Ordered Santa Monica Tacos and Nachos. Nachos give you a lot of bang for your buck and were very good for sharing. Prices aren't very family friendly and they only have outdoor seating but food was yummy. I normally don't like shredded chicken but they did a good job making it taste good. This place has the most DISRESPECTFUL/RACIST manager I have ever seen in my life. I happened to have a baby shower at Dolores call me Lolita on Sunday and my husband a black Cuban happened to wait for me at this bar. As soon as I go out for a smoke and she sees us she rolled her eyes and couldn't bare to speak to us. He decides anyways to go and order a drink to wait for me. He literally only received service for one drink!!! He wasn't offered any food or treated again. When I came outside his drink was right in front of him with the ice completely melted. So I decided to get the bartender attention and she said "He is going to have to wait"... we waited and then she ignored us again. I got offended since I could see in her face the hatred she was feeling for no reason at all. I am a white Cuban and yesterday I experienced for the first time in 28 years RACISM. I asked her if there was something wrong and she said "What is your problem? Get out of my property" This was it for me... We started asking for the manager and she was like " I am the manager, leave now" we asked her for her name, she said "Don't worry about it" my husband started to tell me let's go and I couldn't hold myself back and started telling her everything I felt... I felt persecuted and like an insect. I lost it. My husband started to record to at least have some footage of the horrifying experience. She flicked the middle finger out and her tongue, laughing at us. A few others, followed and of course is all in video. Just wanted to share this traumatizing experience. I really hope people would change for good and realize that this is the world we ALL live in and it doesn't matter what color we are! It should had never mattered! It's 2020 for God sake. Writing about what happened to us yesterday doesn't do justice to what we really felt. It was degrading but I really hope that manager gets what she deserves coming her way and karma does exist. Got there right when they opened at 4pm with my lady because it's taco Tuesday and they fill up quick. $3 tacos $6 margaritas. Happy hour starts at 5pm which has $7 cocktails. Food and drinks were amazing. Try the gardeners margarita it's amazing. Drink and food timing was very quick. Runners were on point and always prebussed the table. Our server was awesome. Wish I could remember his name( probably too many gardeners) Tall white guy He was there every time we needed a drink or a taco. Even upsold their bottled hot sauce which is a must have. Best tacos I've EVER had! My husband and I started with 3 of the Los Angeles and 3 of the the San Diego. I was blown away! Later we ordered 3 of the Tijuana and 3 of the Santa Monica... again amazed! The best f*****g margarita in town! seriously. the gardeners margarita, which has cucumber bell pepper serrano pepper and reposado tequila is so damn delicious i crave it all the time. i tried to replicate it at home and failed miserably so i must come at least once a week to taste this amazing cocktail. also the tacos are to die for. i like to get two surf and one LA. the surf taco features fried mahi mahi and purple and green cabbages and signature sauce. the LA has carne asada, cotija cheese and cilantro. i haven't tried many of the other drinks as i prefer to only have tequila when i come here, after all it IS a taco shop right?! The WORST part is there was 2 roaches walking on the floor next to our table and when we told the manager he just secretly killed the roaches and did not know even approach us about the situation.
