I had heat damage to my home due to a nearby fire caused by irresponsible neighbors using illegal fireworks. I was unable to fully close a French door and the window next to it was next to go. They removed the window and door and installed an oversized slider. They also removed a window from a bedroom and installed a French door. They also replaced three other windows I had considered getting done. There were many workers that arrived timely. They were kind and respectful. They worked like a well oiled machine to get everything done in one day. The work was done in October 2025 and I still smile when I see the amazing job they did. I initially thought my double pane windows were energy efficient so I didn't think much about the heat radiating through the windows in the afternoon. It was inefficient for us to turn on the AC when the afternoon sun shined through our windows when my kids nap and eat dinner. My wife and I shopped around and visited showrooms to check out different windows. We were so excited to use this family owned small business as our windows company for a big project. After experiencing multiple issues along the way I hate to say but our experience was not the best and we spent $11k on a sliding door and windows. First, the sliding door we ordered was installed incorrectly and catching so it would hardly close or latch. The latch itself was cracked and had a screw coming out of it. They had to come back out after I made a complaint and cut the piece that was catching down and had to replace the entire piece the latch was on and get us a new handle. Then one of the windows installed did not pass egress due to size. This is not entirely their fault I understand it somehow got past our framers and the windows specialist. However, we ended up having to replace a brand new window that was installed almost immediately after installation, when it was time for final payment they realized the pricing was wrong on the paper and off by $1000 so after everything was installed we were asked to send over and additional 1k due to their mistake of writing the wrong amount on the form. Then, I noticed the stickers on our false dormers were left on the interior portion of the windows there is no access to them because they are false dormers! I called and complained and their solution was for me to crawl through my attic access and to try to access through the roof there. There is no roof access so we would have to cut a hole? Umm no this is not my mistake so why am I being suggested to fix this?!! The dad (owner) I felt was getting defensive when I brought it to his attention. They get 2 stars bc the ordering process was easy. But everything there after completely fell apart. And for how much money we spent I am absolutely dissatisfied. I liked how Jack showed a demonstration of how well his glass stands when heat gets in contact, so you know the quality of the glass you are receiving. We were lucky to ran into SoCal Window Pro, they were doing a job in my neighborhood and since we wanted to replace my son's window my husband approached David for a consultation. Working with David and Jack was very smooth. David worked hard to give me a run down of the numbers when I wanted to know my options to take advantage of Energy Efficiency Home Improvement Credits (https://www.irs.gov/credits-deductions/energy-efficient-home-improvement-credit). He was very patient and took a lot of time to explain the options to me. In the end I went with seven Elite window upgrades on the south-facing side of my house to reduce the impact of the summer sun. David made sure all permits were properly pulled and worked with the city to receive a variance to upgrade my windows like-to-like. The city inspector came by the following week and complimented the work done. I work from home and the day of the window replacements, the crew was very professional and I managed to continue a full day of work despite the construction.
