Spicy garlic parm and fish sauce wings with fusion Thai tea
    Brigitte M.

Fish Sauce Wings are great.... The rest I wouldn't get again. Got the fish sauce wings, spicy garlic parm, side of ranch, and fusion Thai tea. Fish sauce wings were spiced nicely, and both wings frankly had a good crunch, the garlic parm were just underwhelming. The ranch was not good. And the fusion Thai tea was overly sweet, and not too sure how it would differ from the regular one. Again, fish sauce ones were worth getting again. Came out decently quick, but didn't eat in, so can't speak to ambiance.

I went to socal wings recently for a birthday party where they lovingly catered some delicious wings for us! The store itself is very nice and cozy with lots of decor and plenty of seating. When you walk in you will be immediately drawn in by the scent of the food. Their wings are incredible! My favorite flavors were the buffalo and lemon pepper with ranch. And another big plus surprisingly were the drinks! Their thai tea and chamoy mango drink were AMAZING!!! Last but not least, the service here was one to die for. Chris and Chenda were incredible hosts and so kind to all of us. Chris is very funny and Chenda is such an easy person to talk to and you can feel their kindness and passion for their store. If you are ever around this area I highly recommend checking out So Cal Wings!

Probably my favorite wing spot. They have an extensive menu of flavors here! My favorite has to be their new Cajun garlic butter which is loaded. You really can't go wrong with any flavor here, but my favorites are definitely the honey garlic sriracha, spicy garlic parm, and th Cajun garlic butter. The owners are always so sweet and helpful if you're having a hard time deciding, but you really can't go wrong with any flavor. $1.25 wing Wednesdays are the move, and is definitely one of my new go tos!

come here for the house special flavor wing. Definitely needs rice though imo so get a side of that! They had a new flavor - hot honey lemon pepper very good Mango habanero flavor - did not like at all. Tasted like a sweet chamoy candy Jsut garlic - plain and simple. I really like this one too Buffalo garlic - American flavor classic. Good with ranch. Their Cajun fries were so crispy and seasoned well, lightly battered. The zucchini fries were killer. They let you get 5 wings per flavor which is very generous compared to others

Spicy buffalo with garlic pieces and the house special - jalapeno

Found them on IG and SoCal Wings did not disappoint! Flavorful, juicy boneless wings, generous portions and reasonably priced. Great, friendly customer service. They were patient to explain their best sellers and combos. Spacious restaurant, but most food was to-go. I got the house special -sweet and savory jalapeno- and the spicy buffalo that comes with garlic pieces with crunchy onion rings! Highly recommend and will be back!

This wing spot is hands down one of my favorites! My boyfriend & I have been coming here for years and it never disappoints. They've got great family deals, and while prices have gone up (like everywhere else), the flavors and quality have stayed consistently amazing. The food is always fresh and fried to perfection. I usually stick to the wings, but I also love the SoCal fries topped with boneless wings, plus their tater tots and fries are always a hit. The whole family has their own favorite flavors, and honestly, you really can't go wrong with any of them. My personal go tos are the Honey Garlic Sriracha, Mango Madness, and House Special. I've tried most of the menu over the years, and everything has been delicious. Service here is always friendly and reliable. They answer the phone quickly, take orders accurately, and make sure everything's ready when you show up. It's a small hole in the wall kind of place with limited seating, but we've never had trouble finding a table when we want to dine in. Most people grab their orders to go anyway. They even have a restroom (just ask for the key), which is perfect when you need to wash up after digging into wings. Now that we've moved back to Westminster, I'm even more excited since we're closer than ever. This is the spot I recommend to anyone looking for amazing wings in the area.

I visited SoCal Wings yesterday. It was fairly crowded when I entered in the evening. Super friendly service. Tons of different wings, so many different flavors to choose from. They also had a shrimp menu, a boba drink menu, and lots of other items that I didn't get to order. I did order a set of 15 different wings. I got five pieces of spicy lemon pepper, five pieces of the house special, and five pieces of the fish sauce wings. All of them were amazing in different ways. Very addicting to eat. I also got a side of ranch. I really enjoyed the meat ratio of the wings. They were fried to perfection. I will definitely come back.

Solid place to get your hot wings :) I went here with my co-worker to grab our lunch and it was poppin on a Wednesday. Their Wednesday hot wings deal is affordable and hearty. The ambiance looks like a student cafeteria, which mainly attracts the younger crowd. So fosho you'll expect greasy with a Vietnamese flare in it. The service is outstanding and accommodating to say the least :) I ordered their 5 piece garlic chicken wings (they only have an increment of 5 wings for their deal) and their garlic Parmesan fries. Damn reminds me of the high school memories I have eating these stuff after school. Overall, I would go here again for our break.. solid choice to go in Westminster :)

    1. The wings were nicely fried and very flavorful! I love the chicken chunks in the garlic noodles! 2. The spot has fun casual vibes! The interior is roomy and nicely arranged! 3. There was only indoor seatings! There are a lot of tables! 4. The staff was friendly and timely with our order! The food was ready in about 15 mins! 5. Parking lot is small but not busy! Spots are single-lined and not compact! Note: The customer restroom was temporarily closed! Photo: Garlic Noodles, Red Curry Wings, and House Special Wings

I visited SoCal wings because I'm easily influenced by the Internet. I thought the wings were OK. We got the lemon pepper wings to try to see what this place was all about. A lot of the people in my party really didn't like it. But when I brought it home to my husband, he thought it was delicious! When we got in, we were the only ones in the restaurant. We ordered quickly and had to wait a little while for our wings to be cooked. Overall, I think that I would stick to Wingstop because it's much cheaper than this place. But if you wanna try a different wings have added it! The space was clean and organized. There's nothing I can complain about. Will I be back? If my husband wants to try it in person.

House special, garlic parmesan, spicy lemon pepper, and fish sauce wings for take out

The best wings in Orange County! The wings are fried to perfection, large in size, and very juicy. My favorite flavors are the house special and lemon pepper. The cajun fries and onion rings are also great sides and always come with a lot to share. Staff are friendly and the restaurant has a lot of seating. They're also great for takeout - definitely recommend ordering about 15-20 min in advance since they fry the wings fresh! Overall great wing spot!

Courteous and kind customer service. Clean tables and seats. The wings took a while to come out. It might have been about 15 minutes. We were the only customers in the restaurant. The lemon pepper wings were not the usual taste (like from Wing Stop / Buffalo Wild Wings). The texture was a bit wet vs other places would be a dry rub. The wings seemed to have had lemon juice on top. The chicken was decent, but the lemon pepper didn't really taste like it.

    Krystal P.

The wings were so good! The chicken skin was incredibly crunchy and honestly my favorite snack of the meal. The house special was my favorite! Packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. Everything was delicious, and I'll definitely be coming back!

SoCal Wings Reviews in Other Languages

Ask the Community - SoCal Wings

    Is there any gluten-free meals?

I don't think there can truly be gluten free, unless they reserved one fryer with oil just for that. If it's fried in the same oil as everything else , it's not gluten free .

Does anyone know how to make their honey mustard sauce?

    Ask google she knows everything

Does anyone know if they are open during this pandemic?

Yes they are open for takeout, I would recommend calling to order rather than ordering there though.

Do they deliver (DoorDash or Grubhub)?

Yes, they do . Doordash , Grubhub, Postmates, and Ubereat.

Can we order 100 wings with 20 flavors, which mean 5 wings for 1 flavor?

I think each flavor needs a 10 wing minimum

When is the 2 for $20 deal (like is there a specific day) or can is it for any day of the week?

    Thursday

Does anyone know if the traditional wings are coated?

Yes they are but you can ask them for no batter if you like

Does anyone know if their wings are fried naked, or is it coated in some form of starch (corn starch, flour, panko, etc)? Asking due to dietary restrictions (gluten-free, low-carb, keto).

They are definitely breaded I heard the girls calling it a batter. You can ask for the wings with no batter though

Any deals on Tuesday or Thursday? Or some kind of deals like bww and wingstop

Hi! They have $0.75 wings wednesdays! There is also a 2 for $20 deal with 15 wings, a side, and two drinks!

And I am SO glad we did because everything about our experience was seriously a 10/10! From the moment we walked in, the customer service was amazing. The gentleman at the front greeted us and escorted us to our table, and right away we felt welcomed and comfortable. Our server, Quang, was absolutely the sweetest! He was so friendly, outgoing, attentive, and helpful, especially when it came to giving us recommendations since it was our first time there. He had such a positive energy and really made our experience even better. And the FOOD!!! If I could give it 1,000/10, I seriously would. We tried the Ube Cloud, Vietnamese Iced Coffee, Garlic Parmesan Fries, Spicy Shrimp Wontons, Corn Ribs, Garlic Butter Prawns, and Filet Garlic Noodles, and honestly, there wasn't ONE thing we didn't enjoy. Everything was full of flavor and absolutely delicious. But what really stood out to us was that it wasn't just the food -- it was the entire experience. The staff, the atmosphere, the music, and just the overall vibe made us feel so comfortable and welcomed. The music they were playing was amazing too! My friend and I were enjoying ourselves, eating good food, listening to good music, and just having such a great time. The whole place honestly had such a warm, homey feeling to it. When we were leaving, the gentleman who had greeted and seated us earlier ended up having a whole conversation with my friend and me. He was so sweet and personable! He mentioned that they may be opening a location in Culver City, and I told him I really hope they do because that would be much closer to home for me. I was even joking with him that if they open one, they need to bring the whole staff from this location over there too because everyone here was THAT amazing. At the same time, even if there ends up being a location closer to me, I would honestly still make the drive back to this one. When you visit somewhere for the first time and have such a great experience, that location becomes special. You can visit the same restaurant somewhere else, but the people, atmosphere, and experience aren't necessarily going to feel the same. This location definitely left that kind of impression on us. I really hope this review reaches management because the staff here deserves the recognition. Everyone we interacted with was wonderful, and Quang especially took such great care of us. This was our first time at VOX Kitchen, but it DEFINITELY won't be our last. We're already talking about coming back and bringing our family and more of our friends so we can all enjoy it together. 10/10 food. 10/10 service. 10/10 atmosphere. 10/10 experience. You guys definitely gained some returning customers!

Unlike your typical rotisserie or fried chicken, this place roasts their chicken in a large clay pot and the marinade is definitely not something that you can find easily. The smell of the chicken is so inviting on its own but you won't be able to smell it outside of the restaurant - gather some confidence and open that door! We got 1 whole chicken, bot chien, crispy rice, and a side of dry noodles. All of the sides are great - I've tried at least 1 option every time I come back here but my favorite is the dry noodles and crispy rice. Their chicken pairs TOOO WELL with the pickled veggies and their special soy sauce. I like mixing a little salt, pepper and lime in mine to make it extra sour but honestly, the chicken is great even without the sauce. It's a small restaurant and flagging down servers is not difficult but I love that they will come to check in on you pretty often without you putting out any effort. We noticed these little cubes of tasty bits, we didn't know what they were because we didn't see it on the description, she already had a piece, we thought it was some sort of crispy bread crumb bits LOL. We asked the service and come to find out, it was crispy pork called Top Mo. We told them she can't have pork, they took the plate back. After a few minutes they came back. She asked is it a new dish or did you just pick them out. They picked them out. This is where the language barrier came into play. They didn't understand for a bit. I said she can't have pork because of her religion. That's when it clicked! Thank the Lord! Out came a fresh porkless new bowl and she could enjoy with me. They should've given me her previous bowl to go LOL I'm the pork Queen LOL. Overall a fantastic meal and I've been thinking about this meal for awhile. I need a reunion stat!!! Just so many good Vietnamese dishes in the area, it's hard to choose! I will be back!!!

This establishment is located in a plaza with ample parking. What we got: - Baked clams - my mom and dad like seafood, and they approve - Deep fried calamari - my partner likes calamari, and he approves - Grilled pork spring rolls - pretty good, though I don't think I would get it again because the pork was a bit dry - Salmon belly spring rolls - wow I would definitely get this again next time, even if it's a bit pricey! the salmon belly is so buttery and soft - Grilled filet mignon or pork vermicelli bowl - family friend ordered this since she wasn't too familiar with Viet cuisine; I'd say this is a safe option if you're not used to Vietnamese food - Beef chow fun - the noodles are so crunchy and doesn't soak up the sauce/soup at the bottom too much thankfully so it wasn't too soggy. The veggies were cooked and seasoned well, but I wish there was a bit more beef on this dish Everything was delicious and it's a good restaurant to take my picky parents to if we want to have a nicer sit down family dinner. The restaurant was clean and the service was good!

The restaurant was nearly empty for a Friday mid-afternoon, so service was very quick. The menu has a lot of items, so as a first timer here it took me a while to decide on what I wanted to get! What we got: -$7 Salmon belly roll: this dish stood out the most to me with the piping hot, glistening, crispy salmon skin. I loved the crunch when biting into the roll! The fresh veggies helped balance the flavors as well. The portion was very small though- only two rolls! -$16 Garlic noodles: delicious and garlicky, but very oily. The shrimp were big, but slightly overcooked, so they were dry. -$15 Bo ne: a childhood classic! Dip the banh mi in the egg, or layer on a bit of everything in the banh mi for a hearty bite. The steak was juicy and easy to cut. I liked the spicy links which added more flavor to the meal. Overall, I enjoyed each dish. The flavors are all very familiar with what I ate growing up. Parking is very easy as well since the restaurant is in a huge plaza.

Baranzino: tender fish served with a savory broth. Delicious and pretty healthy. I would come back for this for sure. I did wish it came with something else outside of the fish for the price but still delicious none the less. 9/10 Yuzu ceasar: nice rendition on a Ceasar and the yuzu definitely came through and the lettuce was nice and crunchy. Great start to the meal. 9.2/10 Garlic parm fries: delicious, crunchy, hot. I think it could have been even more garlicky but that is my preference. 8.5/10 Arancini: solid take on fried arancini but I didn't really get the kimchi flavors. Still tasty and would order again but maybe it could dial those flavors up. 8.5/10 Miso bacon carbarnara: definitely one of the highlights of the meal. Everyone was scooping up every bit of sauce on this one. 9.5/10 Pork belly: the pork was flavorful and tender but the mashed potatoes under it was the real hero. 8.7/10 Pork jowl: this might have been my favorite thing along with the carbanara. The problem was extremely tender and yet still had some give. The accompanying sauce gave it a salty kick and wrapping it in lettuce really gave it that korean essence. 9.5/10 Overall, this place delivered on great food and would come back anyway for a fancy meal. Also shoutout to our server who dealt with the entire restaurant alone and didn't miss a beat.

Our waitress was always there when we needed her and would check up on us consistently! The place is very spacious, music was lively, and overall great atmosphere. Bathrooms were clean and it had a mouth wash dispenser including the cup As for food and drinks, everything was so delicious! Yuzu Lemonade was very refreshing and was a nice mix of the flavors. The yuzu and lemonade didn't overpower each other, and a nice touch of the mint leaf! Kei Coconut Ube had a nice taste to it. The sweetness was nice, super purple in color, and worth trying at least once. Drink definitely does not look or taste like a beer so think of it as a sparkling Ube drink when you try it. Beef Tongue appetizer was very tasty and the appearance was pretty. The sauce was very delicious with a hint of citrus. Beef Bowl Udon was delicious as well. The udon noodles are in the middle of the thickness level. Broth was nice and refreshing, and the beef belly was super soft and tasted amazing. Seafood Tom Kha Ramen was really good. Seafood in it were shrimps, scallops, and squid/calamari. Not too spicy, but had a nice kick to it. Veggies were nice and mixed well with the seafood ramen! Unfortunately, the eggs do not come with the udon or ramen, but they do have free unlimited ramen noodles!!! They let you get it for the udon broths as well! Would definitely come back to this place when I'm back in this part of town!
