Beef Stroganoff
Genovese L.

I wanted to love this place since it's their new location, but wasn't disappointed with the food. It's a sports bar type of ambiance that's family-friendly and has plentiful indoor seating. There's also a 21+ area to the left of the restaurant where you can drink and play mini golf. I came here with a party of 4 on a Saturday afternoon and it was pretty dead. There were probably 3 or 4 other customers here. Our waiter was attentive, friendly, and fast so shout-out to him! The food, on the other hand, was left to be desired. I ordered the Beef Stroganoff and it was lackluster. It was bland and beige - it needed more salt and throwing on some chopped parsley or herbs would've helped. As a side note, I think they've taken this off the menu since my visit. All in all, it's an okay establishment.

I hosted a surprise party for my husband here, and used the rotunda room. It was a perfect space for a large group, and they were so accommodating with setting up early, decorations and cake etc. We ordered pitchers and appetizers, and both were excellent! The staff was attentive without being annoying, and were very patient with kids messes. I highly recommend this as an event location!

Called ahead to verify closing time, arrived at 7:20p on a Thursday evening was told by the FOUR young chatty girls (standing around doing nothing) at the front counter that they couldn't serve us because the kitchen was closing "soon". The girl in the red (see photo below) said "there's a 40 min wait and the kitchen is about to close but your welcome to go to the golf and bar side to sit there because there's a different menu". (FYI, there was NO ONE waiting and a ton of visibly open tables - and servers running around all over!) We take TWO steps over and see a sign that says "no children after five in the golf area"... So the hostess clearly lied about my family being "welcome" over there. (Because she saw me walk in with my two young kids). I turn around to head out of the restaurant and see a couple walk through the doors, and she seats them right away! I sat for a moment to watch and she seats ANOTHER small family WITH a child as well. So then we go back up to the counter and she says "okay I think we can seat you too but it'll be about 20 minutes." REALLY?? So you seat all these people and then make my family wait? She really did make us wait too. I'm not from the area - we were in town visiting and we're looking forward to the golf experience and some good food but definitely won't be back here again! Do better management!

Good beer value. Food is mediocre. What more can I say except they have to have an 85 character review.

If the weather is cooperating, sit outside. The beer selection is impressive, with a great range of lagers and ales. We had our eye on one particular light, crisp option, but they were out for the night. Our server pointed us toward something comparable... I believe it was called Teddy Bearnd...it worked. Now, the food. My friend went for one of their signature burgers, which was seasoned simply so the beef really gets to shine. The only hiccup was that they were out of tomatoes, which is a non-negotiable topping for her, so keep that in mind if tomatoes are a must. I went a different route and ordered the beef focaccia. Uniquely layered ribeye and really good. We also shared a Greek salad that was simple but fresh and satisfying. And the french fries with their homemade ketchup? Don't skip em. Service was smooth and friendly from start to finish. No complaints.

I don't know that I have ever given a brewery a 5 Star review...this makes sense!…read more I have been doing my little Fish & Chips search through Boise and I will have to say, this place is Hands Down the best yet that I have found! Now I have been here a few times and I like the place. The service is good, especially in the bar. The place is very open and has great light and fresh air which I always love. Add to that some great food and creative cocktails and you have a winner! They have a great Old Fashion that is a creation of one of the bartenders and I think is just a fantastic drink! Balanced flavor, a little sweet but not too sweet...with a nice bourbon finish to it! Now back to the Fish & Chips...I have had them twice now, with the same cocktail to chase them down. These are what Fish & Chips are meant to be. The batter is light with a great crunch, not heavily breaded but a light flavorful batter! Fries are good, home-made tartar sauce which always hits...and all the items you want with them...lemon, vinegar and for me mustard! I will be back, over and over again. for a drink, some good service and the best Fish & Chips when I am having that craving! KT

I visited 10 Barrel Brewing recently with my fiancé, and while there were some high points…read moreregarding the flavors and service, the experience was a bit of a mixed bag. To start, I tried the Pickletini. As a fan of pickle-forward drinks, I found it "not bad"--a solid choice if you enjoy that briny profile. My fiancé opted for the All Ways Down Double IPA flight. At 9% ABV, it was a heavy hitter, but he really enjoyed the intense hop aroma and flavor provided by the Cryo Hops. For my main, I ordered the TNT Sando (Tri-Tip with bacon jam and garlic aioli) on Gaston's grilled focaccia. I requested it without pickles, and it was excellent. I paired it with the Black Bean and Veggie soup, which was a standout--perfectly delicious with a nice "zing" to it. Unfortunately, the meal hit a significant snag with my fiancé's Fish & Chips. The beer and cornmeal tempura batter was extremely thick (nearly 3/4 of an inch in some spots) and the fish was overcooked. Additionally, the blue cheese dressing on his side salad was very runny and tasted off. It was disappointing enough that we had to send it back. We replaced it with The Spicy Italian pizza. This was a total 180--it arrived looking beautiful, and the combination of the meats, pepperoncinis, and hot honey was absolutely delicious. Our server, Casey P., was generally good and attentive, though we did have to wait to start our meal because we weren't initially provided with napkins or silverware. A minor note on the atmosphere: the table we were seated at had "gay" carved into the wood, which felt a bit out of place for the professional vibe of the rest of the establishment. Overall, the TNT Sando, the pizza, and the beers are worth coming back for, but the kitchen consistency on the fried items definitely needs some work.

Almost made me want to move here, they were easy to talk to and were completely personal with their conversations. I ordered the flight of 4, 5-oz samples with an additional 2 more. What I ordered was their Recoil IPA (citrus), Rustler IPA (malty), Mutton Buster (brown ale), Oktoberfest (marzen lager), with the additional two of the Aura (hibiscus sour), and Sofa King Dreamy (tropical IPA). This place was absolutely amazing, from the outside drinking areas to the bathrooms. The bathroom was something I wasn't suspecting, all the way to the bonfire pit that was so huge, to even the forest of the wandering drinkers. I did come pretty close to close and the staff was still awesome and easy to work with. They weren't done with their shift and irrtitated which I see most of the time. I ended up buying some merchandise and some beer togo. If I lived here, I can totally see myself coming by this spot frequently. My girlfriends and I decided we needed to get some grub and enjoy the patio weather today so we all picked Sockeye to hit up for our monthly outing. I arrived first and the patio area was pretty chill. Was sat at a great table and hung out till the rest of my friends showed up. My two friends and I did get to peep out the menu for a bit. Our last friend who is notoriously late allowed is some extra time to really check out the whole menu without feeling rushed. Happy hour was going on so of course the apps were calling to me. I can make a meal off of multiple appetizers. We finally got food ordered when our last friend showed up. I got the salmon and shrimp crab cakes. I have left Sockeye hungry before after having dinner here so I also added a side of chili just in case. I was ready to eat! My crab and shrimp cakes came out looking fabulous. They were fried a nice golden brown. So crispy on the outside and savory on the inside. I love the aoili that was on top, it added an extra flair to the crab cake. 3 were in an order and it was the perfect amount. I smashed all 3 and they were so good! I did have a couple bites of the chili. It was hearty in meat and beans. Rich in flavor and filling. I'm looking forward to adding this chili to some fries with some cheese on top for dinner later. I know it's going to be so good. Our server did a great job tonight. Despite the fact that she had to wait till our last friend to show up, our server was on top of it. Our water was always filled, she checked up on us and always made sure we were happy. As a past server, it's hard to manage time between tables when the whole party isn't there. Our server didn't have that issue today. My girlfriends and I had a great time. We enjoyed the food, enjoyed the atmosphere and was happy that we got to do this all on the patio. I always forget that there's a Sockeye by us off of Hill Rd. I will have to check that one out soon to grab more crab cakes. I do look foward to coming back to this location and enjoying another round of appetizers on the patio here.
