Had a good pedicure here this afternoon. Went i around 2pm and the place was empty. The girl(with glasses) who did my pedicure did a good job with the massage and filing. She took time to do the massage and it felt great. One thing i wasnt told before and they did it while paying was they added 5$ for the color which was very shady because they asked me to pickup from that lot when i entered without mentioning the additional charge. read more

I used to live in New York City and now live in Boston. I needed to get my nails done quickly before we went to an event at Madison Square Garden. I was able to quickly book an appointment here calling two hours in advance. I highly recommend the milky pedicure it was incredible. They also were very quick and were able to get me in and out in under an hour and a half which included massage! They did a fabulous job. I usually get dip, but since I wanted to be quick, I knew that gel was the way to go, and the gel is lasting longer than it usually does on my nails! I took my daughters to get acrylic nails. They said it would take an hour, which is normal. An hour into it, they were still shaping and buffing. Absolutely terrible job. Theyre were bald spot on my nails and even with SNS dip, my nails started chipping within 2 days. DO NOT GO HERE My daughter went here to get nails done while we were here and I don't even know where to begin. She asked for a French tip, showed pictures and even talked to the ladies about them in Spanish. Let me just tell you, they are absolutely terrible. Uneven, not on good, didn't file them down, squared off, too thick and if you had more time I'd keep going. I then called this morning to talk to a manager and the lady on the phone refused to give me her name. She said she took pictures and has proof they were good. I gave her my number and email to send to me and she never did. She argued with me for 15 minutes over the phone telling me I was wrong and she did good and refused to give me a refund. She said " no one works for free". I told her she should be ashamed of herself and should lose her license. I also called back to talk to Sophia and let me tell you, she was no better. It's so sad this is what the world is coming down to. This business should be shut down for fraud!! My gel manicure was less than mediocre. It looks like my left hand painted on my nails. There are parts of my nail that weren't covered by nail polish. She barely touched my cuticles, and didn't even soak my hands before attempting to cut the cuticles. I asked her to follow the nail shape I previously had (almond) and she just rounded out all my nails. For $45 I will not be coming back. read more

I think if you're looking for a basic mani and pedi then this would be an okay choice however if you're looking for nail art, then avoid The ladies were very nice and the prices were okay The reason for my low review is because I specifically asked for nail art and showed them a reference picture. I prefaced it with "you can leave out the minute details like the fish and the flower, I just want the general vibe and the colors for lunar new year. If you can't do it, no worries I'll just get a solid color" They told me they could do it and I was really unhappy with the end result. It looks nothing like the reference photo. I told them mid way that I didn't really like it but they kept going. For 65 dollars + tip, it's not really worth it. In addition, the overall job was just kind of sloppy. They cured the nail to my flesh and the the color isn't even or opaque. Overall really disappointed esp for something like a holiday Edit: dropping to one star, I originally gave it two because the regular pedicure come out ok but after one night three of my nails no longer has polish and it's not like I've been out here playing soccer read more

i spent $55 and then tipped 20% on top of that for a mani pedi. i had the girl doing my nails clean up around the edges multiple times. the nail polish is messy, clunky, uneven and thick. I've never had someone shape my nails so bizarrely!! I understand I was one of the last clients of the day but if your staff is too tired to do the work - schedule me for a different day!! I hate leaving negative reviews, but if this helps anyone please read on! This place was terrible. This was the most expensive nail service I've ever got and it was so incredibly disappointing. I got nail extensions with SNS powder and a gel pedicure. $200 with a tip! Absolutely insane price and the quality was horrendous. The nail tech had to pull 3 of my extensions off and re-do them because she cut them too short. The nails cracked a few days later. Different sizes and shapes. Really poor quality work! If I didn't live so far away, I would have come back the next day to request a refund. I can't say it was just my nail tech either, because my sister had her nails done too and absolutely hated them! Just not a good quality nail salon, which is not expected for the price point. Including photos of their loyalty card in case they try and claim I never visited this salon. I did and I NEVER will again. I really regret not reading all the negative reviews before I visited. Reading the reviews now, experiences were pretty similar. Don't waste your hard earned money at this business. They don't care enough to even address the negative reviews and try and improve their customer service. read more

I was not going to write a review and I don't usually write a review unless it is truly necessary, which in this case it in. Last Monday march 14 I came with a friend to get our nails done, I attached a picture of the nail design I asked for, the nails I got were barely the same, but I am not one to complain and I was happy with the nails. What I wasn't happy about was the service. I have never been to a place where it takes 3 full hours (5-8 pm) to get my nails done for such a simple design. Not only that we both each must've had 4 different nail workers do our nails, also what they didn't know was that my friend is Mexican and the entire time they were complaining about us in Spanish. What kind of business allows this? I came to ask for powdered tips, they were 95$ which is already a lot but OK, due to they lack of the ability to speak the English language I couldn't quite understand what was going on but she said it would be 25$ extra she then said "125$ OK?" I said OK, mostly because she was already doing my nails and I did not want to be rude. By the time I paid for the bill 3 hours later it ended up being 169$! How does something go from 95$ to 169$? But OK, I didn't complain I happily paid assuming my nails would last at least 2-3 weeks. Every time I have gotten my nails done this was the normal especially for GEL nails. Anyways, the following day I realized my nails were very long and I couldn't do anything with them so I went back to trim them. I've done this before at other places it usually takes 10-15 min, there I was again for an hour.. I'm not sure what training these technicians took but clearly something is going wrong. They didn't just trim my nail. They redid almost all of them. When the main lady came back and still saw me sitting there I think she was also surprised to still see me there. Anyways; that same evening I got home and my entire nail color chipped off. I went back, this time the main woman re-did my nail. That same evening my second nail chipped, I said fine let me do it myself and so I did. The day after my third mail chipped. Why am I upset? I'm not upset that my mail chipped I am upset that I paid 169$ for nails that chipped within 3 days. I am upset that they lied about the price and that on top of it being so expensive the quality does not even match up. The nail design didn't match up, the amount of time and service didn't match up, nothing matched up. Surprisingly the mail I did myself with 2$ essence nail polish that is 5 years old has lasted me longer than their UV nail polish and that for 169$?! While they were talking *** about me and my friend? This isn't ok. I don't recommend going here or being reeled into their money stealing scheme. Go to glitz nails in the east village. They're much much cheaper and better and quicker. read more

I got a dip manicure here on a Monday and by Wednesday one nail had cracked and chipped and by Friday three of them were cracked. Considering I paid premium prices $60+ for this manicure I really hoped it would have lasted longer. I am a student who works on a computer so it's not like I am rough on my nails. The people are very nice, the quality of the services is just not great. My friends dip manicure with tips also cracked within a day. read more

I went in to have my gel removed and get a manicure. The lady doing my nails was having a hard time removing the gel and at some point she accused me of lying to her saying that I have acrylic not gel. Anyhow she claimed she removed it all which wasnt true I had to go somewhere else to remove the excess gel. When she began doing my manicure all nails were different shape and length, I asked her to fix it and she looked at me like I had 10 heads. The owner(I assume) stepped in to help, at that point my nails were so odd looking I asked her to cut them all - keep in mind I had long natural nails. I ended up not painting my najls cause they took almost 2 hours just to remove the gel. The shock was that they charged me for a manicure as well as the gel removal which werent fully done either. I expressed my disappointment and how they basically gave me an anxiety attack and she didnt even apologize. To pay $70 with gratuity for something that wasnt even fully done and leave with TRAUMA is just sad. read more

I have been coming to this salon for 15+ years back when it was Four Seasons and was so happy that Lucia took it over with her husband and grateful that she survived the Covid lock-down in 2020. The salon is much improved under the new ownership. Its immaculately clean, the technicians are very nice and detail oriented and the prices are very fair for what you get. I can always get in for a service as a walk-in. They are open late which is great. I have bringing both my daughters here since they were little and everyone is so nice to them. My niece and I were staying in a hotel around the corner from this salon. I called to see if we could get in for a girl's day at the spa of mani/pedis. They were able to get us in right away. We were pleasantly greeted at the door. They were upfront about pricing (I had selected a higher-end polish, my technician made sure I was aware of the additional cost). They offer a children's mani/pedi and did a great job with my niece's VERY short nails. I got one of the more extensive pedicure packages which included a massage (feet and lower leg) and a few other treatments. It was so nice. The salon was very clean and well maintained. A few different people checked in with us during our time to make sure we were having a good experience. I thought both of our technicians were very kind. If I could give 0 stars I would. My 2 friends and I walked in and having called beforehand, they said they could do dipping powder (SNS) manicures. The first red flag was the fact that they didn't use the nail machine to start taking off the dip already on my nails and instead tried taking it off with a nail file (never in the 5 years that I've been getting dipping powder has a nail tech not used the nail machine). Then, they soaked my nails in ALCOHOL for 20 minutes instead of acetone. When they took off the foils, obviously, none of the dipping powder had come off. They then realized our nails hadn't been soaking in acetone and that they would have to use the machines. By now, it had over 30 min. They then soaked our nails again in acetone and it finally started coming off. They then used a nail file again instead of the machine and by the time the dipping powder was finally off, it was already an hour we had been there. They even commented on how dry our nails were, which of course they would be when our nails had been soaking for way too long. The other issue was that it wasn't just one nail tech; all 3 nail techs were awful. At this point it had been an hour and we decided not to get new dipping powder on. At the end they ended up trying to charge us for a different service before we pointed out that we were being charged incorrectly. Overall horrible experience and would never recommend going there to get your nails done. read more
