Unbelievable!!! I just got my car washed today and thought everything went well, until after I pick up my 2.5 year old toddler daughter. She started to complain about her car seat. I didn't understand what she was complaint about and didn't notice until I got home with her that whoever washed the car had unbuckled the car seat that secures the car seat to my car!!!! Omg who does that!!!! That's so dangerous!!! So my toddler was complaining about the seat rocking back and forth when I brake. The Carwash person that accidentally unbuckle the seatbelt that secures car seat to the car needs to notify the parents immediately, cause if anything happens, my kid can fly out the car with the car seat! I'm so glad I noticed it before anything happens. Not sure why I keep having bad luck with this place :( . Please management, train your staff NOT to unbuckle a child's seat from the car. In state of California, this negligence will result in jail and major lawsuit. Wow this place is very extraordinary not honest and rude. I was hoping that this place is good as this is the closest car wash by my house and I wash my car regularly so they would've gotten a lot of business from me. When I pulled up, I asked for the $24 car wash and the guy says are you sure, the water dirt marks on your car might not come off. Again, I repeated I like the $24 car wash, and he says there's no guarantee your car will be clean and the water dirt marks might not come off. Came in told them it was my first time. My mothers car needed a definite deep clean inside. Came out to be $175. The car seemed to be pretty clean. The stains were out of the car which is a win. The car seemed to be very glossy due to all the chemicals, which is expected. All the extra mats and junk were in a bag, so it's a win. I would like to give 3.25 stars....definitely lower than 4 but higher than a 3 star....because.... SERVICE was GOOD. When I got to my car after they were finished I spotted alot of the yellow spots our cars get from plants or when parked under a tree...but they were really nice about going back to take every one of the spots off. They continually asked if everything was okay. Just one thing, the Indian person(?) who initially was in charge of cleaning my car seemed to do his best but lacked in detailed cleaning...like the yellow spots and the lower parts of the car where unseen plainly....which is why I had to ask for it to be cleaned further after I was called to pick up my car...where 2 other workers came and did a very good job at the detailed work...hence resulting in a higher 3 rating for service... I think a more uniform training for details and cleanliness would benefit this place :) MINUS..... One really bad minus was that my steering wheel was left with this wrinkle effect and not sure what they use for cleaning the inside...maybe acetone???? Cause it kind of seemed to chemically melt the material on my steering wheel which broke my heart a little.... Came in today to wash two of my cars. Outside wash was ok got the $27 package and $17 package. They basically were the same thing and horrible inside cleaning job. Didn't wipe anything down dust all over still and then to top off as I pulled off turning my steering wheel I saw oil or some substance all over my right hand from the steering wheel. I could've done a better job by myself. Horrible maybe I'm not use to this area but I use to go to a place just like this in temple city but they would do such a better job and for even cheaper. This is my first time coming here. I just recently purchased a brand new 2023 GMAC Sierra Truck. First car wash on it and it turn out to be BAD. I was first hesitant because after I pulled in I noticed that it was NOT HAND WASHED. That should of been warning to just leave. But, I gave them the benefit of the doubt. Wow totally disappointed. Mats weren't even cleaned, didn't bother to wipe down my dashboard. My inside of my doors were half wiped. You can actually tell the difference were they tried to wipe to were no whipping at all. Looks like they somewhat tried to vacuum. I can still spot dirt. For $35 you should be able to provide BETTER SERVICE. It wasn't even a weekend. It was at 11am on a Tuesday! Not even busy at all. I took my Silverado today I've taken my cars there before & just like the other reviews is a hit and miss with this place. But I work right across so is convenient, today as soon as I approached the truck I noticed scratches, I asked the guy who gave my keys he then asked someone else. That someone else asked someone else, the guy said it was my word against there's. I told them my truck had other scratches that I know and I'm not blaming them for those but these are new & all over the truck. They left trash inside the truck, I had to ask them to please take it out & the truck is not properly cleaned. I basically paid for them to scratch my truck/bad experience. You can drop your car off for an oil change, eat at Riverside Grill, and then wait for your car to be washed. Sticking to the carwash, you get what you should....a clean car. Been coming here for a long time, I'm in my early 20s living on my own so the free car wash with the oil change deal makes a huge difference for me and I always tip. I will say though there is a noticeable difference in how some staff will treat you and your car just because it's a free wash even though I paid $60 for an oil change. Even if I do a rain check for the car wash and come another day to have it done I'm always left waiting longer than others as they don't have priority for it because I didn't technically "pay" for a car wash. So y'all just know the service is good and I couldn't ask for more for a wash that wouldn't normally be offered with an oil change. I used to have a good review here but now I don't. I manage to have all my friends and family come here because I was really impressed with the quality of work here. But now it's been really going down the drain. It's not the first time and I still manage to give them another change and nope, nothing. I went in today 2/28 to have my Camry washed. I walked out of here very disappointed very upset. They let my car sit so long letting the sun create water stains. I had to tell me that it looked like they didn't dry it by hand. I paid for the Midas wash but I should have paid for the basic wash as I would have gotten the same results: basic and mediocre. Never had a problem here! They are efficient and work hard to make sure you want to come back. There's no skipping corners or scratches. My car was finished in break neck time and the work was quality. My car was sparking and shining like new. Plenty of seating inside and outside with snack and drinks you can purchase while you wait. This oil change/car wash place might have you waiting for your car for a little while, but that's only because they are always busy, because their service is amazing! Oil Changes come with a free car wash (upgrades are available for additional costs & I'll speak about the car wash in a second)...the oil change service at Performance Lube and Oil is done by honest people. I have NEVER been up sold a product or service I did not need-how do I know this for a fact-quite simply when you need something they show you why and when you ask "hey do you think I need service x, y, and z?" They'll check, but also tell you when those services are "normally" performed. The car wash, the free, non-upgraded car wash comes with a thorough vacuuming of the entire car (even your trunk if it is empty) a wash, an inside cleaning (windows, dash, steering wheel, door handles, etc.) as well as a soft cloth drying of the entire car. It looks like new when they are done. Side note: ***I see some people not tip the guys who wash the cars and I personally think that is a shame because they work extremely HARD, outdoor, year round and do such a great job. The place was PACKED! (typically that's a good sign) I pulled in and met Omar, GREAT guy! Expecting to be hustled by the attendant Omar in an attempt to up charge me for carwash services, I was prepared coming in. To his surprise, I wasn't looking for a basic carwash, so no need to hustle. He started quoting prices not listed on the board and we settled on what I thought was reasonable for the services I requested. Hand wash, clay bar, wax, ArmorAll, cherry scent. My truck was FILTHY! Omar and I cracked a few jokes, discussed other vehicles I was interested in getting detailed then I went to pay. The cashier was just as polite and kind as anyone could ask for! I would go one step further to add that EVERYONE at Soft Touch was welcoming and polite, and not the fake polite that you get when people are expecting a big tip. Genuinely friendly, polite people. I'm old school when it comes to customer service, and this team had it! Bravo! Because they were busy, the wash took a little time to get started so I went back to Omar and gave him a little grief, jokingly of course. I expected it to take a minute seeing the popularity of their establishment when I pulled in. But before you knew it, truck was getting their undivided attention. I was/am very impressed and completely satisfied with how great of a job they did on my baby. Might've tipped a little heavy on this go round, but hey, the guys deserve it!
