Sorry but never again. I don't usually review places but this dry cleaner ruined 4 New Era hats that I took there. I asked beforehand if they new what they were doing when it comes to hats and they said yes. When I got them back they were not only wrinkled but they shrunk. I've taken hats to other places with no problems but this place is close to my new home so I thought I'd give it a shot. $140 down the drain and some were vintage hats. Don't go here! read more

Pros --- Getting laundry and alterations professionally done in a timely manner. Con's - Language Barrier, Only Dry Cleaning --- Update --- So In detail, I was looking for a reputable cleaning service on Yelp, so after reading reviews, I chose Softone. Service requested, to send in eleven sofa fabric pillow casings sent in for "cleaning" and one alsewing alteratio, lady said everything would be ready in a few days, cost was about $40, I said no problem. Returned to pick them up on Saturday, did not question the integrity of the cleaningness at that moment. Went home, opened up the bag, realized they had the smelled/looked the same, as if they weren't cleaned. The alteration job though was on par. Went back on Monday (closed Sundays), and spoke with the Lady. And questioned on how the cleaning process was done, She stated they only do Dry Cleaning service, and has 20+ year experience in drycleaning. In the end I asked in recommendation how else would they be cleaned.. She replied with "I don't know".. In conclusion, there was no refund, credit or anything offered. Left disappointed. Will be going elsewhere from now on. read more

My son and I are pleased with this cleaners. They are friendly and have garments ready when you expect them. They do alterations as well. I have been pleased with the ironing of my clothes and the cleaning of rugs. I think prices are reasonable. read more

Generally I go to Perfect Dry Cleaners on Atlantic, but for some reason I left a shirt to be altered at Softone, thinking I'd get the same professional service offered at Perfect Dry Cleaners. Unfortunately the item came back damaged - a small hole in the back of the neck of the shirt, and the stitching was of very poor quality. It was new, having been washed and dried only once as I was hoping it would shrink and I wouldn't need to have it shortened. When I talked to the owner she said she didn't cause the damage. She thought maybe I'd make the hole when I took the tag off but I explained the tag was inside on the underarm seam. After a few minutes of talking with her I realized she would never admit to the damage. So I don't feel this owner is honest and certainly doesn't do quality work. read more

If I could score no stars, I would. I went in and there was one person ahead of me and no one behind me. I asked the lady if she could please take some measurements for me. She told me she was too busy. I looked around the place and saw no one else, she then proceeds to ask what measurements I need, I tell her and she tells me her tape measure isn't long enough. I asked if she could do the other measurements and not the height one? Once again she says too busy and I should go to a tailor. As I get ready to leave, a woman of the same race as the worker comes in with quite a few garments for alterations and measurements and she was serviced. Quite disappointed. This is a great family run cleaners that gets to know you and your preferences to give you that extra personal touch. I've been going here for years because of this, their very friendly service and their good prices. I like their alteration services as well. I've had a number of garments touched up here and have always been happy with the work. It gave a lot of my items the extra life they had in them short of a minor tear or unraveling. The place is a bit old and nothing fancy but hence I imagine a lower overhead and thus the better pricing compared to higher profile or busier location cleaner operations. I have been going here for years. She actually counts your clothes in front of you to make sure none will get lost. Clothes always come out nice. If you have any problems they will take care of them for you right there. Plenty of parking and easy to get in and out. read more

The create price as you come. One week they charge for pants and sewing, the next they increase the price for similar clothes. Plus I pay for dry cleaning, but when I bring my clothes home they look as if they been laundry. I don't recommend this cleaner to anyone. Stay away!! read more

Super rude lady at front. My dress had more spots when I picked it up than when I left it. She was rude when I pointed them out. The spots I originally came to have removed didn't look touched. There was also a snag that wasn't there before. It is very delicate fabricate that had only been worn once. Never again will I go there. read more

I had come her to get my jeans fix I told her if she can use white thread in my jeans and she was like no I can use light blue it made no sense as the jeans were mostly color of white and she was like u can go somewhere else u as it's very hard to talk to u. I went to this cleaners hoping they would be able to help me with my situation the jacket that I had to get cleaned is vintage and it had Suede & Leather trim around the wrist and neck area of the jacket this jacket is not easy to find nor is it easy to clean that's why I needed a professional that deals with leather these folks. Took care of business not only are they kind and very helpful, the first time I got it cleaned I seen a spot or two that was missed they had it redone and I came back and the jacket looked a hundred times better than when I gave it to them now mind you the jacket is over 20 years old so for them to get it looking the way it did I got to say they aren't my business and I appreciate them the money was way worth it not only because of the way the jacket came out clean but because of the customer service and how nice the people are thank you folks at Stone soft dry cleaners without you my jacket would just look like some old jacket now it looks like a very cool vintage jacket I shall be back you have a new customer read more

I needed my son's Boy Scout patches sewn on his brand new shirt. I showed her where the patches go. When she pinned the patches on the shirt, I was telling her some patches are not straight and the words are not centered, she snapped at me and told me, "I know what I'm doing". Well, when I went to pick up his shirt, the patches are crooked and the letters are not centered! The only way to fix it will be taking/ripping it off that might cause a hole(s) on his brand new shirt! She told me I can bring it back later and fix it. That would not work! Taking the patches off can cause holes on the shirt! Now he has to wear like this, or buy another brand new shirt and patches that costed over $70.00. Plus I wasn't happy how she was talking to me on Friday about "I know what I'm doing". I assumed she did. The only time before this, I had her sew one merit badge to a sash. It is a fingerprint. I told her where it goes. When I went to pick it up, it was upside down. After she fixed it, it left a hole on the sash that I had to buy a new one with patches. I will not be going back.
