I've only had four pedicures in my life, and every single one has been here. I've never made an appointment and have never had a problem walking in and getting my nails done. The salon is beautiful, they offer lots of options, and the staff has always been kind and welcoming. Honestly, if they were any more attentive, I'd probably feel a little out of place--I'm much more used to taking care of other people than being pampered myself! Every visit, they've made sure I'm comfortable and helped me figure out colors when I inevitably pick the wrong type of polish (which seems to happen every time). They've always been patient, helpful, and dependable. I don't even think about going anywhere else because they've consistently taken great care of me. The shop is absolutely adorable inside, and I especially love what they've done with the remodel after Helene completely destroyed their original space. It had actually been almost a year since I stopped going to nail salons because of previous bad experiences, but after a long day at work, I decided to stop by and give your salon a try. When I walked in, I greeted the man at the front and let him know I did not have an appointment but would like to be seen. From the beginning, he was very rude to me. I sat patiently on the couch reading my book while waiting. During that time, he was laughing and joking with customers, which is completely fine, but then he made a joke about Mexicans that immediately made me uncomfortable. When it was finally my turn, he gave unclear directions several times. He told me to "sit over there" while only pointing, and when I asked politely which chair he meant, he continued pointing as if I could not understand English. He repeatedly moved me from one place to another without clear communication, and the entire interaction felt humiliating. It was obvious enough that other people in the salon seemed uncomfortable witnessing how I was being treated. Despite this experience, I decided to remain polite and continue with my appointment. Nancy and another woman who worked on my nails completely turned the experience around for me. They were incredibly kind, professional, and welcoming. They treated me with respect and made me feel comfortable again. My service was only $45, but I tipped both of them $50 each because of how much I appreciated their kindness and care. I do not know the name of the man who treated me poorly, but he had a hairstyle that resembled a rooster haircut. I truly believe he needs better customer service training and education on treating people fairly without judging them based on appearance or ethnicity. I am Mexican, and after a long day working as a social worker with children, I may have looked exhausted, but that should never justify being treated disrespectfully. If you want to call yourselves a high-end salon, then the person greeting customers at the front should reflect high standards of professionalism, kindness, and customer service. First impressions matter, and no customer should ever feel judged, dismissed, or humiliated when simply walking through your doors. Overall, Nancy and the other technician were wonderful, and I appreciate the care they provided. However, the way I was treated by the other employee was unacceptable and deeply disappointing. Called on Monday morning for an afternoon appointment. Arrived shortly before my appointed time, was escorted to a nail station. Got a mediocre manicure. Was left at the station to dry for " five minutes"; 15 minutes later, no one had come to check on me or tell me I was done, so I made my way to the reception desk. I dropped in to get a manicure. The manicurist did a poor job. The part where the nail polish met the cuticle was jagged and there was loose cuticle partially cut. I asked her if she could clean up the jagged areas by the cuticles. She ignored that request. When she finished she did not use a drying spray on the UV light. She just cleaned up her area and walked away. I sat for about 15 min to let them dry naturally. Another manicurist asked if I was done. I mentioned that I was waiting for my nails to dry but I was unhappy with how the nails were done. Two manicurists looked at it and one said that she would fix it. She proceeded to completely redo my nails. Both manicurist mentioned that if i was unhappy I should have mentioned it. When I responded that I did mention it to the manicurist who did the poor job but she ignored it, they requested that I mention it to someone else. My recommendation is to find another salon or if you go to this salon and are not happy with your manicurist ask for Kim. She did a good job. read more

It was a great experience I love this place so much I've been multiple times and they've done my nails perfect each time. They are very gentle with your hands and it's very clean. They do in force the mask rule but not for kids which I love.I prefer setting up a appointment cause they do get really busy. They always know the customers name and try to connect with them it's a family business. Under new management . . . Went for my usual appointment the other day and was surprised to hear the former owners had moved to Atlanta. The shop is in the process of being renovated . . . but I wasn't impressed with the new staff: * many of the staff spoke frequently in Vietnamese--I felt like I was sitting in a foreign country * For years I've preferred a female tech but I wasn't given that option * The tech assigned to me was sloppily dressed * Even though renovations were going on, I thought the shop was dirty--and it didn't help that the tech kept shaking nail shavings onto the floor. When I paid, the tech didn't mention scheduling another appointment, but that was ok--i think I'll be going elsewhere. read more

I travel quite a bit for work and when I tell you I have gone just about everywhere within a 3 hour drive of here to get my nails done (went to Augusta GA most recently) that's a literal statement. Worst part of my dip manicure was the man who did my manicure (who was continually answering the phone) did not give my cuticles any attention at all. Male owner was extremely rude. Went in to get powder nails. To remove the polish that I had on, they had me soak my fingers in pure acetone. My fingers were extremely dry when I took them out. He continued with putting the powder/polish on- and did not do a good job. Once he finished, I had to ask for lotion for my hands. When they first opened they were awesome, but they lure you in by saying 5 minutes and 40 mins later your feet are still soaking in luke warm water with no urgency or end in sight. The leg and foot massages are lack luster and I was always leaving with dry heels. I'd i could I'd give zero stars. My acrylic nails are lumpy, not blended well at all. My nails were all different shapes (were supposed to be slightly squared) and the nail tech didn't even bother shaping the middle nail. Raymond is the MAN!!!! I get the SNS dipping powder on my nails. Before going to Soho Nails, I was traveling all the way to atlanta to get them done. Raymond does quality work and is quick. I normally get a french rendition with a nude glitter base and a gold glitter tip, but I recently went in and requested a design. Raymond did not disappoint. He was able to use SNS to give me the requested design from a pinterest image. I will continue to go to SOHO as long as Raymond is there!!!! read more

Every time I come here service is not good.. there are two women here that give consistent service. The male owner is rude. This young girl who did my pedicure was horrible I feel like I wasted my money. I do this once a month as a treat and my money was wasted. She didn't even do a good job with polishing my nails.. Find somewhere else! I have visited this salon a few times prior and all was good, but this past time not so much! Went in for a gel manicure and this was the quickest gel manicure I have ever received. The gentlemen was suffering from sinus issues, but that should not be an excuse. He barely filed my nails, just a little lotion on my cuticles, and applied two very thin layers of polish that chipped in three days. Have given this place several attempts, 80% of the time it's an awful experience. Unfriendly, sometimes rude, sloppy, expedient, poor quality and occasionally not clean. I've been going to Soho for close to two years and I enjoy going there. Husband and wife owners who are very friendly and give great mani/pedis. Sometimes the wait is longer than they quote but, hey, you can relax while your feet soak. I would definitely recommend them. read more
