I've ordered from Sokar Pastry a few times now, and every experience has been amazing. The pastries are always fresh, beautifully made, and absolutely delicious. Hany is super kind and professional, and the service is always smooth and reliable. You can really tell they care about quality. Highly recommend for any occasion or just when you're craving something special!

Sokar pastry has the best Konafa! I even enjoyed the baklava which I've always found too sweet when I've tried it at other places but not here. The service is always great. And the presentation is always beautiful.

My first time trying baklava ... AMAZING Thank you, Sokar Pastry. I can't wait to order more desserts from here!

From the moment I contacted Hany until the completion of my order, I received stellar customer service. I was hosting a homeschool end of the year program and requested a large amount of treats. Having not heard of his business, I requested to sample the items prior to purchasing. Hany gladly accommodated my requested and had a sample box made. As expected, the treats were delicious so I placed my order. The timing of my event was an issue because I was required to be there prior to his business opening. Hany went out of his way and hand delivered the treats to my event. He was reasonably priced, flexible, and very professional. I'm very happy with the treats and services received. I will definitely be using him again!

Thank you Sokar pastry for a delicious dessert, we tried the collection platter for my work party and everyone was astonished of how fresh and delicious the desserts were. Some of my colleagues were tasting Egyptian dessert for the first time and you made me proud I really recommend anyone to order online or call you to plan their desserts needs.

Purchased at Monrovia Street Fair (Friday nights) for $5 (2 baklava is $2.50)

Top notch, legit baklava here! Purchased 4 pieces of walnut baklava on Friday night at the Monrovia street fair for only a mere $5 (2 pieces for $2.50 if you would like to purchase less). We were given a sample each of their creme filled baklava but my husband wanted to purchase their walnut filling to take home. This little vendor also had a few other different pastries that I did not know the name of but would probably try one the next time we come (most likely next week, since we live so close). For now, this vendor only sells on line and at the Monrovia street fair only. They do not have a store but the owner told me that as their business grows, they hope to expand to something a bit bigger (yay go small business owner). Just to let you know that I finished the last piece of the baklava today and it still tasted just as good as it did on Friday, so don't worry about finishing it right away if you decide to purchase a larger order. By the way, CASH only.

I love ordering the Baklava Cashew fingers and Baklava Walnuts squares. They are perfect desserts for entertaining guest. Not to sweet and FILLED with nuts. Delicious!!!! Highly Recommend ordering these.

A quick shout out to Hany at Sokar Pastry. We served his freshly made cashew, walnut and pistachio baklava at our recent rehearsal dinner. The baklava was a major hit with everyone. Hany was very communicative, easy to work with and the price was very reasonable. I posted a picture of the venue and baklava. Unfortunately this picture does not do justice to how beautiful baklava looked. And again it tasted even better. Thank you Sokar Pastry

I've tried a few of their mousse cakes and Portuguese tarts, and everything has been delicious. Those adorable fluffy animal cakes might look too cute to eat, but trust me, they're totally crave-worthy! As someone who loves anything chocolate or mango, I know I'll be coming back often. A fun treat to try: freeze-dried mousse cake bites. They'd make an awesome ice cream topping! Highly recommend stopping by if you have a sweet tooth.

Its a small shop on Main in Alhambra and there's a lot in the back as well as street parking. It's a brightly lit, pick up and go type place though there are a couple tables out front. The baked goods look really cute and enticing and I ended up going for a mystery box since I wasn't after a specific cake and the mystery aspect seemed appealing. I also got 6 egg tarts, which were a great price at $1 each. The baked goods/sweets looked better than they tasted flr me. The egg tarts had a texture that was a bit off putting for myself, it was more of a steamed egg texture than a silky custardy filling. Flavorwise, they were ok though. The mystery box was fun and I got an apple cake, peach cake, and a panda cake. Now the mystery box is day old cakes so keeping that in mind, they are like cream based "cakes" and are essentially cream covered gels/jellies of some sort. The flavor and textures were good, very light cream with strong fruit flavors (the panda was also a peach flavor, I think). As a set of the mystery box price, I think the cakes are fun to try but I wouldn't, personally, pay those prices for essentially shaped cream. I'm glad I tried a new spot but ultimately don't think it was super impressive and found most of their desserts and baked items to be average, or a little less so as for the egg tarts.
