    Thai tea

Came here with a friend on a Friday afternoon to catch up before his work shift. He was in the mood for Thai food, and this spot was conveniently located between us, so we decided to give it a try. It's a small shop with only a few tables inside, and most customers seemed to be ordering takeout, but that made for a quiet and comfortable dine-in experience. We ordered the chicken fried rice and spicy beef salad. Both dishes came out quickly and were really tasty -- flavorful without being overly oily or salty. The portions were generous for the price, and the spice level was just right. You can tell the food is freshly made and handled with care. The people working there, who I assume are the owners, were very friendly and welcoming, both when taking our order and when serving the food. Overall, a great little spot for casual Thai food at a fair price. I'd definitely come back again to try more dishes or grab takeout in the future.

Spicy Bite Thai Kitchen brings Thai food to Whittier locals. This is a simple Thai kitchen that simply wants to serve Thai recipes from Thai Mama and Chef, Anna. Everyday she pours all of her heart and energy to give her customers what they crave. Each dish are her recipes that her son and hubby absolutely adore for years. This Thai Kitchen is a quick take away spot meant for you to enjoy at work or with people at home. Dishes locals love include orange chicken, spicy basil crispy pork belly, chicken larb for health nuts, a rich coconut Penang curry and their spicy fried rice! By the way, you can pick your slice level from 0 to CRAzyyy Spicy. My absolute favorite thing to get is their mango sticky rice and when I go home, I scoop a large vanilla ice cream from my freezer! It the perfect dessert from texture, sweetness and satisfaction.

ordered beef fried rice but it was all rice and a few pieces or beef/veggies. Service was great & ambiance.

Take-out spot for Thai food!! Less options than a traditional Thai restaurant, but they excel at the items they have! I loved the Thai tea here. Their level 4 was pretty spicy for me, so really humble yourself when choosing your spice level or else you won't be able to gorge on this delicious meal!!!! I loved the mango sticky rice for dessert.

Easily the best Thai food I've had in the Whittier area! My favorites are the orange chicken, shrimp rolls, and spicy fried rice with chicken. For the rice, I go with spice level 3 which is definitely spicy but still super flavorful and enjoyable without overpowering the dish. Their Thai Iced Tea is amazing too! I've taken it to-go and it doesn't get watered down, which I really appreciate. Service is super friendly and it's a great spot for takeout when I want a delicious and reliable Thai meal. Love it here!

Recently came in and was welcomed in by an incredibly kind and warm woman. Later to find out, she's the owner and the only one who really runs the entire restaurant alone (aside from the help of her husband and son). I had quite the feast, grabbing a few various items just to try things and the flavor was great! A few that really shined for me were their Tom Khah soup, Orange Chicken, Pad Thai (standard favorite), and the Mango Sticky Rice. I will say, it is a very small space with only 2 tables so I would imagine most people grab the food to go. This is a spot I'd recommend for simple, straight forward Thai food!

WOWWWWWWWW!!! This thai spot was honestly so AMAZING. the PAD THAI WAS perfectly balanced! and don't even get me started on the MANGO STICKY RICE.... it literally melts in your mouth and is the perfect ending to the meal. On top of that the owner IS SO SWEET!! she checked on us so many times, talked to us with so much warmth, and made the whole experience a 10/10. The food was delicious!!! BUT her kindness made it even more unforgettable :)

Just been here recently with my girlfriend and wow amazing !! I always love trying new places and I recently was recommended this place at work so I had to give it a try. Was a very small little spot kinda could be hard to miss but it's in a little shopping center. The food was amazing as I got the pineapple fried rice and my girlfriend had the pad Thai. Both were full of flavor and had so much care taken when made. The menu had a lot of options and wasn't limited at all!! Will be back to try again

Such a cute mom and pop Thai take out restaurant. Anna, the owner and chef runs the restaurant by herself! Her curry and beef salad were my favorite. Her Thai iced tea and sticky mango rice were also good.

A family owned vibe, really nice people working hard together, well maintained business, grade A if this means anything to you.. got this TomYum Soup that does wonders when not feeling well.. it works fast so be prepared to feel ready for the next day.. it is spicy.. and for that I really recommend it..

Best hidden gem Thai spot in Whittier! It is a small, family-run restaurant and every single dish tasted so fresh and homemade. I tried their chicken pad thai, and it had the perfect balance of sweet, tangy, and savory with juicy chicken that made it super satisfying. The tom yum soup was bold, spicy, sour, and full of aromatics that hit instantly. It was perfect for the rainy weather! The spicy beef salad came with tender beef tossed in a bright chili-lime dressing that was zesty, refreshing, and addicting. And of course, the Thai tea was creamy, sweet, and the perfect drink to tie everything together. I genuinely loved every dish I ordered Go support this amazing small business!

spicy Spicy Bite Popcorn(top), Spicy Basil combination(chicken, beef, shrimp), and another spicy basil(just shrimp) - rice is a side!

Been here multiple times, by far the BEST thai food ive had in the area and surrounding area, i love everything ive tried here, i really enjoy the spicy tom yum soup very citrusy! but my go to is the spicy basil combination plate (chicken, beef, shrimp) it never fails to make my day, its PACKED with flavor, a real10/10. The service, also a 10/10, I belive the owers name is Ana and she is very polite and helpful if you have any questions, on my last visit in i was debating between a couple of options and decided to narrown it down and got a couple things, next thing you know she walks over with a small plate of the orange chicken i was thinking of trying!!! very kind and genuine couple that own this place, been coming here for about a year and look forward to many more!!

    Cynthia R.

Fast service, good food! :) we got Thai teas, pad see ew with beef, spicy noodles with beef, and mango sticky rice. The Thai tea was extra delicious. It was my first time trying the mango sticky rice and it was amazing. The noodles were very good too! As of May 2024, there was no dining area, but hopefully we can eat here again when they get dine-in tables.

The Lunch Special came with the entree, rice, salad, and an egg roll. The Pad See Ew was delicious, I wish it had a little more protein. But the flavor was on point. Damn I picked a loser today…read more So far the Thai iced tea that they charge $6.50 for is entirely comprised of ice... like 90%. I asked for the cream on the side and they gave it to me in Dixie sample cup the size of quarter. I ordered the spicy basil pork with no bell peppers and to substitute carrots instead. She came back and said it would be an additional $2.00 charge for carrots. I said, it is a vegetable, yes? She said, "do you want it or not?" Hmmmm, I said "sure"... and then mumbled, "but it's coming out of your tip." And they charge extra for steamed rice which should come with the meal ($3.00) Then I asked for a little side of sweet and sour sauce and she said... "that will be $2.00..." I shit you not. The tip will be zero. Food wasn't even that good. AVOID. ----------------------------- THIS IS IN RESPONSE TO OWNERS REPLY: Ok, let's be real... I'll give you the full review which I was holding back and being nice.... First of all, carrots are WAY cheaper than bell peppers (BY A MILE), so why am I paying two dollars to swap them in? If anything, It should be less, not more!!! That $6.50 Thai iced tea was a full glass of ice with maybe an inch of tea on top. For real. That's a cheap ass tactic and you know it. LAME. The cream came in a dentist office medicine cup the size of a quarter. After learning that the carrots were going to cost me an extra $2, I figured more cream would probably set me back a few bucks as well so I passed on asking for more. Every single other Thai restaurant experience I've ever had in my lifetime of eating out has been to hand over a little sweet and sour sauce without charging two bucks for it. I'm not asking for a glass full. It's a small little sample FFS. $2.00???? Really??? Are you that hard up?? You must be because there was only one other table eating there. And three dollars for rice that should come with the dish? That's not policy, that's called greed. Yes, I finished my dish... not out of enjoyment, but out of sheer hunger. The dish was swimming in liquid and I ordered a 4 out of 5 spice level and it felt like a 2. Sorry, your business model sucks. $30 for lunch? Screw that. That was a $15 meal that you charged double for. You'll be out of business in no time.

Crab omelette fried rice: the best dish of the night! The crab and omelette are nicely cooked, not overly salty. The rice to egg+crab ratio is great. It is not spicy, the seasoning is just right. I highly recommend this. Mango sweet sticky rice: not bad, just alright. We think the sticky rice is too soft and soggy, not chewy enough. The coconut milk is served on the side so you can pour it based on your preference. The mango is perfectly ripened, very sweet. Tom Yum Noodle Soup with seafood: our least favorite dish. The noodle is very soggy, there's really no texture to it. I know there's the word "noodles" in their name, but we definitely do not remember this noodle option at all. The tom yum soup was not great either, the spiciness is way too strong, so you can't taste much of the sourness. The seafood variety was ok, there are shrimps, fish fillets, mussels, squid, and fish balls. The texture of the squids and fish fillets tasted a bit weird. Their service was nice though we got sorted at a corner, so we had a hard time getting the staff's attention. The restaurant has a very unique decorations. There are a lot of figurines, pictures and statues. Overall, their dishes are either really good or the complete opposite, not sure if I would want to go back again.
