This is one of those places that you would think it's a mom and pops place. Well, it is, sort of. You'll have to come here and find out but it is a family business. I don't know if it is the great ideas on the dishes or they are just great dishes. Have you ever heard of camarones aguachile? I didn't think so, get down here and try it. Excellent flavors and it's not done with lime or lemon. The 7 Mares caldos are a huge bowl. It may not look big even when it's right in front of you but when you dive right in, you have all the seafood in there and the hominy. A couple of my favorite things to eat is the Campachana and ostiones. Campachana is a huge goblet accompanied with a Pacifico would normally satisfy anyone but if you know me, I eat like a pig. So I order a dozen ostiones which were fresh. After a trip to Cancun, I got acquainted with "guacamaya" and "valentino" which are hot sauce at each table. Perfect for seafood and soups. You don't have to know Spanish but I'm sure the waitress might be impressed that I know how to order let alone eat. Sometimes on Friday nights, there is live music so you can come hang out and dance a little if you feel like it. My favorite to see is the Cafe Caribe band. read more

Today my family and I ate here. Our waitress Ceci was awesome and polite, we appreciate that a lot. We ordered camarones a la diabla, ceviche de camaron, and a cocktail de camaron which were all delicious. However, the taco de asada for my son and the cheeseburger and fries for my daughter were not. The meat was so hard and dry, my daughter patty was so thin and hard I can't believe they would even serve that. Looked and felt like cardboard. To make it worse after telling them the cook took the meat back and re-heated and gave it back to us like that. I was speechless. In my opinion they specialize in Mariscos but I do not recommend anything that includes meat, they don't know how to cook it correctly. this place is very clean and shrimp was cooked well. Ceci did end up removing the charges for our kids food since they did not eat, however it took the owner some time to make that decision. A decision like that should not be thought about twice especially when it's obvious the kids didn't eat the food, and meat obviously looked poorly cooked.
