Dr. Bob has moved his practice down to Wilshire blvd I believe. If you are looking for a good dentist this guy is really sweet and kind and gentle. He really looks out for you. One time I was getting veneers and he DROVE me himself to the people who make the veneers so that they could do a perfect color match, when was the last time your dentist drove you in his car somewhere? Not counting the time he took you out for cocktails and you woke up 2 days later with dirty pants and a wig on your head that you didn't recognize. Seriously, this guy is so nice to all his patients, they all volunteer to be referals so that if you have any questions you can call them so that they can bore you with their personal stories on how great he is. Best office, dentist, receptionist and assistants!! I love everything about this place. I have been coming here for a few years now. They call you every six months to remind you that it's that time. They are more than willing to call your insurance with any billing or benefit questions you have. They are always willing to work with you of you cannot afford to pay a bill in one payment. The view is relaxing and the one guy who always cleans my teeth is amazing I wish I knew his name. The best part of all of this is if you have an emergency (like I did) and you get an infection over the weekend and need antibiotics fast you can call dr Jelicich on his personal phone and he will call in a prescription. Before today I hadn't visited a dentist office in almost three years. The last experience I had with a dentist was something out of a horror film. So, when I sat down for my examination, I was pretty scared/weary. Almost immediately I could tell I would like Dr. J. He has this warm, genuine energy that makes you kinda melt. Before he examined my teeth he explained what he was about to do, what he was looking for and then during the exam told me what he thought of my teeth and gums. Not at all a painful experience. Scheduling nightmare. Endless text messages to tell me that my appointment was cancelled because they would rather book multiple cleanings at once despite my already booked appointment. My appointment was cancelled and moved over 3 weeks out without my approval. And then secretary called to rub it in. I asked for the dentist to call me back but not holding my breath. I just said I'll go see a dentist that sees patients less than a month out. 50% of the time I felt valued as a patient but the dentists heart is on profits and seeing as many patients as possible. I went back the other day because I was experiencing some pain that I just couldn't hold off anymore. Even though I no longer had insurance, he still took 4 x-rays and gave me a complete exam of my whole mouth, not just the problem area. Not only could I afford the visit without insurance and a job, but what I admire most is the personalized service and care. He didn't just want to look at a problem area, but he did a thorough exam just to be sure. He is very professional, trustworthy and comprehensive. I also have to note that the staff, especially the associate at the front (can't remember her name :/ ) is more than accommodating with scheduling and goes above and beyond to give great customer care to clients. Witnessed another example of great customer service. There was a misunderstanding on my insurance coverage but that realization only came after the service was delivered. Made an appointment with Dr. Jelicich solely based on yelp reviews and it certainly did not disappoint. Took less than ten minutes for me to fill out the forms and be seated. The friendly assistant took X-rays and the images immediately showed up on the computer screen in front of me. No waiting 10-15 minutes for the images to develop. As for the cleaning...the assistant used a really gentle vibrating electric pick (not a drill) to break up some of my plaque. I usually get really nervous and tense around these things, but there was absolutely no pain or discomfort. Afterwards, I met the doctor himself. He took a few minutes to explain to me, in simple words, how my teeth are doing and how to continue to take care of them. Overall, he was very friendly and knowledgeable. Dr. Jelicich is great! He answers his own phone if his assistant isn't around, remembers who I am, & is SINCERELY pleasant. I was referred to him by a now-deceased friend, & he never fails to ask about her family. But he's also a good no-pain/no-BS dentist. Super disappointed. I was told they would cut me a deal for $100 per side (needs to be done in 2 halves) to numb me for a deep cleaning (after I was already so disappointed with the way they had handled something else). I went to my first appt and they charged me $200. I asked if that was meant to cover both appointments? Apparently then it became "NO, actually it's 100 per corner." So 200 per side of my face? Huh? So I was trapped into spending $400 in a week on a deep cleaning. If I had been told UP FRONT what I would be paying, I wouldn't have felt so ripped off. There was a similar mix-up before and I won't be going back. My boyfriend loves Dr. Jelicich but I am finding us a new dentist- he never worked on me anyway. He's a nice guy but $400 for a deep cleaning (apparently a DEAL according to them) is ridiculous, sorry. read more

I am an actor and my appearance is my livelihood, and Dr. Jelicich could not have been more accommodating, helpful and thorough.
