Enough to pay for independent coverage allowing me to remain with PRDG when my Medicare advantage health plan chose a free dental plan benefit with a different provider. That's saying something!

She took x-rays and was able to diagnose why the crown cracked and proceeded to explain thoroughly what was needed to be done to prevent a similar problem with the crown in the future. Of course, the crown had to be replaced. Dr. Pham is a very caring dentist and even texted me the next day after a previous appointment with her. They open as early as 7:30 AM, they're even open during my lunch hour at 12 PM, and they offer one Saturday each month, which makes getting care so much easier and less stressful. Being a trusting person, my husband didn't call his provider to check and simply went along with the consultation. Lo and behold a $200 bill arrived in our mail box, courtesy of Dr. Chang. My husband was mad at Dr. Chang and I was mad at my husband. Fun day. I called the front desk lady and the insurance provider, and each stuck to their guns. I wanted to cry. Well, I think I did cry, but that's neither here nor there. As a last ditch effort, I wrote a letter to Dr. Chang and included our credit card information. I reminded him that he needs to look out for his patients and that not all of them (like, ahem, my husband) are going to check with their provider. Well, I am happy to report that today I received a phone call from Dr. Chang himself.
