Wow, amazing food! Maddie recommended the perfect options! They serve Turkey legs after 4pm and I got an order of two. One Jerk and one Garlic Parmesan. They literally fell off the bone completely and super tender and flavorful! Got a side of broccoli (soft and delicious) and the greens (some of the best I ever had) the owner came by and made sure everything was good for the table. I ended with the sweet potato cake and it was a perfect ending to the dinner. Definitely recommend trying out if you are in the mood for great food! read more

The max & cheese was baked in its own crock with that crispy carmelized cheese around the outside. Creamy and cheese all at the same time. Hands down the best greens I've ever had in my life. Kale and collards simmered down for 3 hours with onions and peppers with just enough salt. Will try to duplicate at home, but that's going to be tough. In short, food and service was amazing. Highly recommended! Honestly I'm not that adventurous of an eater, so I was unsure going to a soul food restaurant. We did thought we were going to get the lunch/dinner menu,l. But since it was 1pm, it was their brunch menu. We just didn't look carefully. We weren't feeling brunch, but we stayed and tried it out anyways. And I tell you, their food does not disappoint. I got the Salmon and grits with the home fries, my husband got the shrimp & crab omelette. Everything was just so good, no need for extra seasoning, the home fries doesn't need ketchup either. Even when I was full, I kept stuffing myself. I also got the mimosa flight, all of them were so good too. My favorite was the lavender mimosa. I liked the environment, luxury feel and I can tell outside was just beautiful (not just the weather today). The art pieces were cool and didn't overdo the design or decor. The place is indeed small, but since we came late for the brunch menu, we did not wait long. The manager (or owner, not sure) came to chat with us. Just great customer service over all. Feels homey. We plan to come back for the dinner menu. I heard there's usually a wait list right at opening but I already know it'll be worth it. read more

I had a wonderful experience here. The name Sol'Delish fits perfect! The food is delicious and the service is excellent and friendly. So I was there on a Tuesday evening. All the tables were occupied and the person in charge (I should've asked her name) offered me a seat at the end of a table that had a customer in it. I took it as "... she didn't want me to wait for a table..." which I didn't mind seating with a stranger. We were not sitting that close anyway. I ordered the sol crab cake. WOW!! It was fenomenal!! I paired it with the yellow rice, vegetables, and corn bread. EVERYTHING WAS EXCELLENT! I had to come back for more! Today I went for lunch and I had the same because the crab cake is just so delicious! This time I substituted the vegetables with the greens. It was seasoned just right and its combination with the corn bread and rice was magical! Madi was my server both days and she was very nice and attentive. The girl at the desk takes my number and says I'll call you when it's ready. I go home & come back and hour later she says I never paid for the order!! You didn't tell me to! she said she had been calling me. Then I go to order she says now they are out of grits. The yellow rice was perfect the greens dip was interesting and I appreciated a new twist but I can't say I loved the combination of flavors. The seasoning and sauce on the chicken was excellent. The chicken itself was just a little bit dry but the taste was great. The ambience seemed friendly and festive and full of life. I didn't get to dine in because there wasn't seating available as the footprint of the restaurant is very small.
