Location is convenient. Food taste is so so, but quantity is very small for the price. Won't return.

I have been here multiple times…read moreand can safely say that this is probably the best AYCE sushi buffet in the Central NJ area. Even if there is a wait, we have never waited longer than 30 minutes for a table. The service is very prompt and waiters are very good at checking on you and refilling your drinks, cleaning up your table, or asking you if everything is good. The food is ordered via paper and pencil, you select what you want and provide it to the waiter. They send the order to the kitchen and you receive the food when it comes out. For an AYCE buffet, the fish quality is consistently pretty good at Hiro. They offer Nigiri and Sashimi on the menu, as well as classic and specialty rolls. If I could suggest one thing it'd be adding hand rolls to the menu. The tuna and salmon here are consistently good and the yellowtail was surprisingly good. They have a bunch of different appetizers ranging from edamame, sushi pizza, to tartar, most of them are actually very good. The kitchen entrees are very good as well such as the kimchi fried rice and the Mongolian beef. Although it's not the most spacious inside, the way they set up the booths and tables it gives you enough separation from other tables to not feel super crammed inside. Highly recommended for an AYCE sushi spot in Central NJ!

Here's where everything went south: The service was quick. My order was ready. The bag was nice. I had second thoughts walking out immediately. Maybe I didn't appreciate it because after all it was Princeton. The banh mi was small. The banh mi was weak. The pickled carrots and radish were just not pickled enough. And WHO THE PHUCK rolls lettuce in their Banh Mi?!?!? did The Bo Kho sauce left a lot to be desired. The shaking beef was less than shaking. The broken rice was definitely not broken. They don't advertised as much but for a Viet plate. It was expected. And for $20 all you get was beef and rice. Nothing else. Not even garnish. Whatever. My bottom line is...if you're white with limited tastebuds. You'll love this place. If you're Asian and looking for Viet...this isn't it.

As an adult, I made it a mission to visit Vietnamese restaurants at any location I go to whether it's for work or my kids traveling team. This place had all Chinese servers. Not a big deal but a red flag to the awful food that came out. The two stars are bc service was fine otherwise 1 star! Summer roll - goi cuon - not wrapped tightly and the noodle was wet. No herbal veggie like a mint leaf or chives. Just some sliced carrots and lettuce. Bo luc lac - way too much bbq sauce that was overpowering. I didn't bother to pour over the fish sauce bc it would be way too much sauce that contradicts. No Vietnamese flavors at all unless they counting the fish sauce Bun Bo hue -Watered down broth. Very little flavors. No pork hock or trotter, blood clot, tendons, and pungent taste of shrimp paste. Barely tasted the fish sauce. No side dishes of herb Mango salad - wet mushy and little flavors

The sushi was amazingly delicious. Everything was packaged neatly and looked very clean. The roll was delicious. I went home and told my husband all about it. I got the sunshine roll. A couple days later, I couldn't stop thinking about what I wanted for lunch and the sunshine roll popped into my mind and my mouth started to instantly water. It filled me up perfectly and the flavor was beyond delicious so I made a call and ordered for pick up when I walked into the restaurant . The place was beautifully decorated and very clean this time I ordered the sunshine roll and the Philadelphia roll. The prices were very good and my food was ready promptly. The hostess was beautiful and kind and professional. I took my lunch back to my office and enjoyed it thoroughly after work. I told my husband about my experience and how beautifully decorated the place is and he said that our next date night will be there. I cannot wait for him to try this amazing sushi. I know we will become regulars. I am so excited to return. See you soon Sumi Rahman.

It's cozy, cute, welcoming, and has a really unique menu! Firstly, the space: I walked in, looked around and immediately felt like I had just popped into someone's house. I mean, it IS basically a house turned cafe and I love that it still has the homey feel. There are big and small tables and even a couch. I loved that people were there having lunch alone, coffee with friends and even hunkered down with a laptop like myself. The team: So sweet! Let me know some recommendations, let me take my time looking at the menu and brought everything out to me when it was ready. I got an oat milk latte (my usual) and the Pearl sandwich. Both delicious. The coffee was hot and delicious and gave me the caffeine kick I needed. And The Pearl was more like avocado toast with smoked salmon, capers and some kind of sauce drizzled on top. Delicious! And a very generous portion. It made me think I need to absolutely get a jar of capers to add to my usual snacks at home. The rest of the menu looked equally as delicious and intriguing. If you are in the area looking for a casual lunch (think paper plates) you'll like it here. Enjoy!

The front counter/kitchen/Rapid Pick-up Shelf are all located in the front of the store, which is convenient for grab-and-go. The layout of the rest of the store is kind of weird though. The 4-6 touchscreen kiosks are awkwardly spaced across two round tables whose main purpose appears to be wasting floor space. The bar seating along the windows has excellent views of Scudders Mill Road and the wooden deck outside, which has additional seating. The remainder of the indoor seating is in a horseshoe formation which wraps around the beverage island and ends in a nook, where many a giggling teenager can be seen on weekends. Instead of placing cups outside by the kiosks for self-service, this Panera seems to hoard all its cups behind the counter, which is typical for locations in urban neighborhoods or mall food courts but unusual for a suburban standalone location. It's not hard to guess why, but waiting 10 minutes just to get a paper cup is pretty lame. The hot water carafe was obviously not cleaned thoroughly during my last visit as the water it dispensed tasted like coffee and soap suds, which is fine if you want your Earl Grey tea to taste like dishwasher. By the way, this location has no buzzers, so if you place an order for dine-in a food runner will be offering your meal to everyone else before it gets to you.

Well, their fast-food Moses apparently never made it down to their Plainsboro, NJ location to anoint the unwashed. Two sandwiches, a lukewarm soup, a Romaine-less Romaine Salad (more supply chain excuse making) and a beverage serving station that would make any mischievous toddler squeal with delight over the sticky, dirty train wreck occurring in real time where the guava lemonade and other new age concoctions go to avoid a sponge and a mop. And no less infuriating... barely any change back from my Fifty. I'm now officially nostalgic for the days when the worst Panera would do was try to upsell me on some grossly overpriced cookies. I can only dream. Two stars.
