I've been coming to Okawa for years and it's always such a fun place for a special occasion. I love the hibachi here! You can't beat dinner and a show. Since I was the birthday girl this last time, I had my special saki in the mouth which is always fun. The best part is the flaming onion! The food is generously portions and delicious. I had the vegetable hibachi and it was amazing. My only suggestion would be to add a tofu option for more plant based options!

The seaweed salad tasted fresh and delicious, with generous portions making the prices fair. The fried tofu, however, had a strong fry flavor, suggesting the oil might have been overused. Seated at the bar near the kitchen, I noticed the smell of fried appetizers conquered...Having worked in greasy diners, sometimes adds flavor. The Salmon Negroni was petite, but the price was reasonable. The salmon was buttery and firm, which I prefer over a larger piece of yuck.

At okawa for our anniversary. Had a 5:30 reservation. Got here around 5:20. They had our name crossed out and gave our seat away. The next available table is 30 min out. They said we could either sit at the end (where you couldn't see anything) or wait at the bar until 6:00. We chose to wait. You would think that because of their mistake, they would offer a free drink or something. Nope. The food was pretty good and the cook at the hibachi table was nice. Although then we were seated at a table with a family of 5, so his attention was almost solely on them and the kids. In fact when he first arrived at our table, he turned to the parents and asked them if they were celebrating anything special and they said no, and then he never asked us... Even though we were there celebrating our anniversary. All in all, we walked out of there spending $75 and the best part of the night was the rainbow I saw while driving home in the rain. Not sure we will be going back if they can't even try and make it right when they clearly made a mistake.

Not great. The mandatory added tip was a surprise. I wish we had good hibachi in town.

My friends and I do a ladies lunch once a month and try new spots in town. HAVE YOU BEEN HERE YET…read more?????!?!??!! we all plan on going back with our husbands it wad that good . I had the number 4 at the recommendation of our server who by the way was delightful. The broth with the black garlic had me tipping my bowl to get every drop. I also ordered the pork bun and wish I would have ordered 4 of them. I cant remember the name of the dish my friend had but I did include a picture in my review she was delighted with it. My other friend ordered the won ton soup it was our least favorite of the 3 dishes we ordered but still so dang good. Do your self a favor and try this place DONT LET THE OUTSIDE of this place keep you from going INSIDE. They have some dated food pictures hanging in the window they make it seem slightly run down but inside is LOVELY and smells delicious. I will be back!!! Its Definitely a must try.

I was thrilled that they have gluten free ramen even though it's nowhere to be found on their website or on this Yelp page. Now you all know!! I will say the texture of the noodles was odd. Not like it was undercooked, but they kinda snapped when you bit through them. I guess it was a gf noodle I'd never had. And the only type that's gf is the vegetarian- their pork and egg are both cooked in soy sauce and their pork broth has soy sauce in it. So I added chicken for an additional $5. Not my fave but it's so rare to find gf ramen at all so if your friends invite you here, you know you'll be able to get something!

Yo - if you're visiting Bend - make your way here, without a doubt we will stop anytime on our way…read morethrough or if we come back! It's a walk in sit down spot - you place your order at the counter and they give you a number - decent size for busy food times - so usually plenty of seating. Over the phone ordering was a snap and the dude was super polite and helpful - not rushed. My wife got the traditional breakfast - she loved the local links and flaky biscuit - I think it was peach marmalade - not sure, but it was LEGIT. I got the pozole roja (I think that's the menu name) and - yo, it was the best pozole I've had. The ingredients were plenty, the chicken was tender and flavorful, they put the radishes, cilantro and cabbage on the side for you to add so it's not soggy. Sourdough was so good to dip - mouth is watering writing this. Service th morning we were headed out at 7amish was great also - wife got coffee cake (warmed in their brick oven) and I got two citrus muffins and a sourdough cinnamon roll for later - all were scrumptious and delightful. I would got a half dozen muffins if I knew they were that good before. People were kind and the service is quick. We ate there these two time on $52 dollars - both to-go orders. We will absolutely be back - every time we are near bend, I'll be stopping for pozole for sure! Well done, Jacksons Corner, well done!

Set in an old home, this establishment has become one of Bend's favorite restaurants. The menus have range with breakfast by far being my favorite. However, their pizzas are spectacular and I've never had a pastry yet that I didn't really enjoy. They serve coffee from a local roaster called Lone Pine. The staff is always extremely friendly and I have frequently positive interactions with them when I stop by. Prices are reasonable, and the food is very high-quality while also being consistently fresh. Parking can be a challenge at times, but it's always worth the effort. Not to mention a chance for a nice stroll around downtown Bend after my meal... just the perfect end to complement a perfect day here in this lovely place. Thank you Jackson's corner for being a staple in this community and consistently making every meal here a little bit more joyful.

The food here is absolutely incredible! I had the potsticker grilled cheese, (I think it's called…read morethat?) it was phenomenal. And they're made in house potato chips?! Crazy good! The ambiance is so-so. Definitely not bad, but I think it could be better. They had kids coloring stuff which was nice. The kids love that. The service was nice, not above the top, but no one was rude, and they smiled and were kind. You could tell by the quality of the food that they cared, and that was enough for me . I highly recommend this place

The cashier encouraged me to order the Oinker and I'm so glad I did!! Let's start with the FRESH potato chips they make in house! Will I end up having a heart attack from eating this delicious monstrosity? Probably! Did I eat a week's worth of calories in one sitting? Wouldn't surprise me! But was this the best "grilled cheese" sandwich I've ever had in my entire life? Yes..... yes it was!!
