The oyster stew wasn't that good, unless you like pickled / relish soup. Definitely need a more half and half creamer mixture. It shouldn't taste like pickles. Maybe reduce the sherry a little too. The crab imperial, my mom can make it a lot better, with mayo, egg, some old bay, and broiled. The chicken sandwich was dry, and over cooked. Maybe take notes from folks who can make it better? We came here for dinner while vacationing in Ocean City. I made reservations weeks in advance on the phone since we were a party of 8. When we went there we were eating on the top floor. They wouldn't let us bring the stroller up there, despite having an elevator. Our waitress was working really hard but was pulled thin. We had the coconut shrimp as an app which was very good. I had the crab stuffed shrimp. I was disappointed with it. It was just little shrimp topped with crab meat. I had the side of mashed potatoes and they were so creamy and delicious. We tried this place on a weekday in late May prior to the Summer season for dinner. First , the service was very good. Our orders came very quickly and the Staff was very accommodating . The cuisine was fairly average ...not bad and some of the dishes were really good . The restaurant in general needs a decor update. Feels like something out of the late 90s . Kind of rustic. We were there on a very rainy day so we didn't get to experience the ocean views. Overall, I wouldn't go out of my way to try this restaurant again. First thing, Parking, do not go around the building, go straight, get into that lot right on their corner, and park underneath the building, stairs are located to the Left rear.(restaurant to right at top of stairs.) Now for the food, started with crab mini's, fresh and delicious, Lobster Bisque was just as good, nice and smooth with great flavor. Oyster Rockerfeller was another great choice, not fishy at all, youll taste all the flavors thats on it. If youre hesitant about trying different kinds of seafood, of how they might taste, I asked ChatGPT to get an understanding of what something might taste like. Dont want to risk getting something I wont eat. The Rockfish, had a real nice flavor, not fishy, as was the Swordfish- never had either, swordfish is the "steak" of fish, but wont need a knife to cut it. Both choices were flavorful and juicy. Be sure to order the ones topped with Lump Crab Imperial. Great addition to the meal. Surf and turf was ok, wife didnt care for the steak but the tail was very good. Lobster Ravioli is another good choice. Pillows stuffed with pieces of lobster. I would trust anything on their menu. Made reservations at 6:30, it WAS packed, the next day made resv again for 2:00, but I believe they were not needed, Plenty of tables open. Darlene was exceptional, we were well taken care of, from her attitude and humor and knowledge of the menu made our visit rememberable. They take Card and cash but 3% Surcharge is added. We had a pleasant experience overall. There was a group of about thirty of us including adults and kids. There was something for everybody to be happy with. There was a decent selection of beers and other drinks. We shared the oysters and they were fresh and tasty. I ordered the crab cake on a sandwich roll. This was tasty, but not as good as others that I've had on this same trip in the area. Great food and service. We went there with a large group of 16. 8 kids and 8 adults. They were supposed to seat us in 2 groups of 8 but thankfully accommodated us all together when we arrived. The food was excellent. I started with some delicious oysters and then had the Crab Soup which was really delicious and had nice big chunks of fresh crab. For the main I had rare seared Tuna cooked perfectly. The view is beautiful and service was tremendous. Our waitress was Katlyn and I was amazed at how her and another waitress were able to get us food quickly and at the same time with such a big group. They only slight negative was a little bit of the price for the ambiance. I felt a little like a cafeteria rather than a fancy restaurant. What a nice restaurant at the cap of the boardwalk! It's nice to get out of the sun, sit down, and get into the AC. The cocktails were nice and strong, my friends said the burger was great, nice and juicy. The coconut shrimp was good! Well balanced. The regular fried shrimp was also good. I got the clams and mussels. I absolutely loved the mussels. Nice and garlicky. The clams however were fullllll of grit and sand. I had to clean each one at the table. The view was incredible and definitely the best selling point here. It's a very old school feeling seafood point with good service, good food, and good vibes. This visit was very disappointing. We had a hungry table of 10. They sat us right away however it went downhill immediately from there. Our server was ok. The food came out sporadicly. We ordered several soups that came out 15 minutes apart which should have never happened. The rest of the entrees didn't come out until after an hour an half later but only after I requested a manager about the wait. The food was burnt, hard, wilted and undercooked. We did not have a reservation and they were able to seat us right away. That was the one good thing of the evening. After sitting for 15 minutes and watching servers pass us by without a word, I went to the hostess to ask for a waitress. The waitress apologized for not knowing we were seated in her section. My husband and I ordered the swordfish and it was terrible. They filet the swordfish and according to the waitress they cook it on an extremely hot grill so it is always overcooked. I wish she had told us this at the time of ordering. My husband did not even touch his, the waitress's only other comment was when people ask she always steers them to a different fish. The hostess at the front desk seemed really confused and It didn't look like they worked there since they were both wearing random t-shirts like they walked in from the boardwalk and just started seating people. The food was either bland, horribly undercooked, or ridiculously small portioned. The three side orders of fries were each served on a plate with 7 fries, literally, 7 fries! The waiter sent out more fries when we questioned it. The steak we ordered was horribly undercooked in the middle, to the extent that it was inedible. The portion that was edible was extremely bland. The waiter did have it removed from our bill. The cucumber salad sides were cucumber slices and red onion slices....thats it, just raw cucumber and red onion slices, not sure that constitutes a salad. He loved his lump crabcake--fresh & meaty--w/fries. We both enjoyed sides of fresh green beans--which were not overcooked; however, there were a few semi-yellowed beans mixed in. Wow what a disappointment! We have been coming to Harrisons Harbor Watch for over 30 years and never had a bad experience, Until now. They close at 9pm and we arrived around 7:10pm and were told they were not seating anymore guest.. As I looked around quickly there were plenty of empty tables and that was just on the first floor with in view of the reception desk area. How do you refuse customers almost 2 hours before closing? Well they don't have to worry about these guest anymore, our 30 year track has ended this year. I had already paid for public parking, for a few ours, we wanted to enjoy dinner and then walk the boards and shop. That all had to change and we went to a nice little restaurant called Crab Alley and the food and service was great! Oh by the way, the next day we were running late for breakfast and went to Happy Jacks, we arrived there 30 minutes before they closed. We asked them if we could still get breakfast and they welcomed us in serviced us, told us there was no hurry and treated us like valued customers. They also let another family in that came late. That is customer service and a way to keep getting business. Keep cutting people off Harrison and you'll be closing your doors, for good! read more

Terrible food quality and zero management oversight Our recent visit was a massive disappointment. We ordered two side salads as appetizers, and the ingredients were clearly past their prime. Worse, the cucumber slices were literally rotting--slimy and frothy. It was stomach-turning. When I pointed it out to our waiter and asked him to check it, even he couldn't hold a slice because it was falling apart. We wanted to leave right then, but we had two hungry kids with us, so we stayed. The replacement salads weren't much better; the cucumbers were still old and distinctly yellow. The waiter apologized, making an excuse that they use an international supplier and the produce sometimes arrives old--which is no excuse for serving it to guests. As for the main courses, the fried shrimp was decent, but everything else was poor quality, including the swordfish steaks which were baked in an oven rather than grilled as advertised. To top it off, they didn't even offer to comp the salads, and a manager never came to our table to apologize. A completely horrible experience. read more

We were sat on the second floor, which had great views of the ocean. The atmosphere of the restaurant itself was a little lackluster, but the large windows and dolphins swimming just off the coast meant that we gave the decor little thought. The one thing that we did take note of, was that the presentation of the food could use some improvement. Small plastic cups for sides, while leaving the majority of the plate bare was a little odd. All of the food we ordered was properly prepared, however there was nothing that really stood out. The crab cake in particular was not the best I've had. Scallops were ok but the clams casino were overly watery and not much flavor. My son had the steamed shrimp that was cover in white foam and he said they tasted off. Service was Great! Food ehhh not so much. We have been coming down for years and always have dinner here one night. I don't think we will be back. A beautiful view, friendly staff, but the food has really gone down hill. You pay a lot of money for the food too, and for it to be mid at best is not worth it. The seafood was the best overall of what the people in my party had. I had a few people in my party that either can't eat seafood or don't like seafood. The ocean city Tram is not operating until further notice, so we walked the 1.6 miles from our hotel room to the end of the pier. Some of our old favorites from years ago are now gone. The sherry was front and center and the crab lumpy. Delicious. Only complaint is that it might've been too creamy. If you can imagine. Joan and I both ordered the blackened rockfish with a variety of sides. I liked the coleslaw and fries. In my opinion I'm cutting a star because the rockfish was too thick and thus overcooked. The restaurant is located at the beginning of the boardwalk, where the old watch tower is. The restaurant has two floors, and you will be able to enjoy the ocean view while eating the fresh seafood. We got to sit in the bar area, where the bartender will take orders from you. The whole environment was relaxing but elegant. I love the vibe in the bar area more than the regular dinning area. Their food was so fresh and good. I love the oysters and the seafood combo. The combo comes with unlimited sides. I like the seasoned rice and the boiled green beans. Over cooked, very dry seafood. Small portions, they won't do multiple checks for tables so be prepared if large party have a credit card with availability. Beautiful view, and was amazing. My daughters got the grilled chicken sandwich very dry and didn't come how she ordered it and my other daughter said her chicken tenders were good .. but very small more like a child's menus portion. We have been coming here for years. Introduced the 3d generation this evening. Everything was fantastic. First off thank you to all the service staff working hard.
