Crabcakes with Lobster Mac & Cheese and Smashed Potatoes. 6 oz Filet.

Amazing from start to finish. We were greeted with a smile as we walked in at ground level. Sent upstairs where the hostess welcomed us and took us to our table looking over the canal and bay. It was a beautiful setting; the glass blocked the wind and you couldn't hear cars on the Coastal Highway. Our server AJ, a student at Salisbury University, took care of us as if he was a veteran server in the food industry. Attentive every step of the way without being over bearing. The food was out of this world. The filet was grilled to perfection. The crab cakes were no doubt one of the best I have ever had. The cost of the crab cakes $48 may appear a little pricey but it came with two sides. The sides were enough - and they did feed two people. They were more like shareables. The smoked Old Fashioned is an experience if you like them. The drink is delivered in a plexiglass box. The server then opens the box releasing the aroma of the Old Fashioned. I felt the spacing of the seating allowed for everyone to have their own space. You ARE NOT on top of each other. Final note: a family near had a person with a food allergy. The Chef, yes that is correct. The Chef came out to discuss with the person all the options available. Now that is attention to detail. Will definitely be returning. If you want to treat yourself one night when you are on vacation, this is the restaurant to go to.

Went to the new Embers on a Monday night with a 7pm reservation. The service was great, our waitress was friendly and checked in a lot. The view and vibes were great, it's a really beautiful space! The food was hit or miss. Short rib arancini for starters was nice, had great flavor. I ordered an alcohol free butterfly pea tea drink and it was beautiful but not great tasting. My husband had wine and it was wine haha. For mains, my husband got the 10oz filet which he said was really nicely cooked. It came with a small pile of hot pickled peppers and butter. I was surprised there wasn't some sort of side that came with it. I ordered the crab cakes which were fine but burnt on the bottom, I just ate around the burned parts. For dessert with had a blueberry chocolate mousse that was really tasty but served in the weirdest little foil loaf pan. Overall we rated it a 7/10 which is pretty consistent for a restaurant in OC. Really nice for the views but the food was forgettable.

S'more's

The food was great. Service was excellent. The manager stopped by twice to ensure the experience was good. Crab cakes, filet, s'more's dessert. Fantastic. Thanks for the wonderful memories. We will be back

Good: The hostess was super nice and recommended dishes. The food was great. We were the first to arrive at the restaurant. Bad: The sun kept creeping on us even though we asked for a shaded seat. We were getting overheated and it was super uncomfortable.

We read some of the reviews for this restaurant, and I think most of them are the older buffet style restaurant not the newer upscale restaurant. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious. If you're looking for a nice meal, come here. Blu crab house is right below and when they play music in the courtyard, you actually get to hear it up at the restaurant which is also awesome. Come, it's terrific.

Cheese plate

Service was great- food really good. Large portions. Had the cheese tray to start and it was amazing. I had the pasta with crabmeat - nice. Nice sunset view and pleasant atmosphere.

We have been here several times now. I think we have found one of our favorite places to go in OC. The views are amazing from the 3rd floor, drinks are on point and the food is great! My only suggestion would be to change the name to the restaurant. Each time we come, groups come in looking for the buffet.

Osso buco

Very overpriced pizza joint. They try to be fancy but the food is not good. The don't even serve a Bloody Mary. What bar or restaurant can't make a Bloody Mary. They don't serve a Orange Crush, which is a favorite of Ocean City Md. Tried to order a Aperol Spritz, which has been out for years, couldn't do that either. So basically they had 3 people for dinner with no alcohol purchased. Bad for the average check and tip. Their cheese board was good, I'll give them credit. Their Osso buco had a bad taste. Couldn't eat it. Everyone at my table tried the risotto and couldn't eat it. They had a mixed green that the waiter couldn't explain what was in it. I know it had Swiss chard but I couldn't eat it. Overall, a restaurant not worth trying. If y want a good meal, and are willing to pay a little more, try the Hobbit. Not cheap but they can cook.

Crab legs
Lynn P.

I would really only come here if you love crab legs. I came to ocean city with my family and we really wanted crab legs. It was $40 for adults and about $20 for kids 12 and under. I like how the bring out the crab legs in a big bunch. Crab leg places in my area bring it in tiny batches and everyone scoops it up before I get to it. I would recommend eating the crab legs with lemon juice. At first, I ate it with butter and after that, all I could taste was butter. I didn't really enjoy anything else other than the seafood. Everything other than the crab legs tasted alright. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't that great. I just wished that the kids price was cheaper because the kids in my group didn't eat any seafood at all. My 13 year old cousin was charged the adult price and she barely ate anything.

Great new venue with very friendly, well informed staff. Beautiful sunset/bay views. Food was absolutely outstanding! Everything was prepared to perfection, and presentation was spot-on. While it is a bit pricey, it's certainly not out of line with any other fine dining restaurant in OC.

Wonderful open air rooftop dining experience. My pan seared scallops were wonderful, the best sauce I've ever eaten. Very friendly staff. Nicely appointed furnishings.

My family whine up coming here by mistake. With so many seafood restaurants in close proximity to each other we were just confused which one we looked up. Nonetheless, it was seafood and that is what we wanted. Well this like the other low star seafood buffets in the area, this wasn't a winner for us. The restaurant is big and our waiter was very friendly and attentive. We sat by the window looking over the water. So now it goes down hill from here....The food was just nasty! Cold and tasteless. All the vegetables were swimming in butter! It was more non-seafood options that they should be ashamed of themselves for calling this place a seafood restaurant. They have shrimp over ice on the buffet and if you want "warm" shrimp, my waiter said to let him know and he will have it steamed. Wait a minute.... so they will steam an already cooked shrimp?! Then It will be rubbery! No thanks! Desserts taste store bought and the price you pay for this place, they should have more seafood and much better tasting food.

I didn't love the pasta, the sauce was bland despite the peppery flavor but the scallops were well cooked and definitely the best part of the dish. It's a refreshing change from the typical boardwalk dining experience. The food was outstanding. We especially enjoyed the perfectly seared scallops, rich and flavorful oysters Rockefeller, and a well-prepared steak that was cooked exactly as ordered. The cocktail program was equally impressive, both the martini and Old Fashioned were expertly crafted. As a bourbon and whiskey enthusiast, I particularly appreciated the extensive selection available here. It was nice to find quality whiskey options beyond the sweet, fruity summer cocktails that dominate many Ocean City menus. The service was attentive, the atmosphere was lively yet comfortable, and the overall experience was excellent. Definitely a place we'll return to on future trips.

There are a handful of must visit restaurants while we stay in Berlin every May for our annual…read morevacation and Sunset Grille is one of them! We arrived right around 1:30pm on a nice (but breezy), sunny Saturday. Since it was a bit windy we decided to sit at Teaser's outdoor bar instead of out on the deck. We had our choice of bar seats on all 4 sides of the bar but the bar quickly filled up not long after. We chose the back side of the bar looking out at the marina which happened to be right by the orange squeezer which was a great move. The bartender, Kate (I believe), made many, many crushes while we were there. It's so nice seeing Orange Crushes made with fresh squeezed OJ. Kate was a pleasure to interact with and she made so many great recommendations (Spicy Mango Crush, Baltimore Club, Mediterranean Grain Bowl). We started with crushes of course, two Orange Crushes and a Grapefruit Crush. I then switched to a Spicy Mango Crush with a Tajin rim and I may have liked that better than the Grapefruit crush. My dad enjoyed my Spicy Mango Crush so much he ordered one for himself. My mom also switched it up and ordered an Espresso Martini which was a little disappointing to say the least. Per one of Kate's suggestions, I got the Baltimore Club which is a crabcake sandwich with bacon, lettuce, tomato, and shrimp salad served on an everything bun. The crabcake itself was really, really good and combined with all of the other toppings/fixin's I think this is a must order for me next time I'm here. My mom got the Applewood Smoked Pulled Pork Sandwich and my dad got the Sunset Burger. All sandwiches are served with fries, slaw, or Mediterranean Salad. Everything was so good that we decided to come back the next day for lunch again. I ended up getting the Sunset Burger and my parents both ordered the Pulled Pork Sandwich. Kate made another great recommendation as we all decided to go with the Mediterranean Salad as our side and it didn't disappoint. It was light, bright, refreshing, and citrusy. We've been coming to the area now from Jersey for years and have always had good experiences at Sunset Grille. The atmosphere is always great being right on the water but the food and service over these two days may have been the best yet. We will be back in June and will definitely be dining at Sunset Grille Marina.

Our server was awesome, explained everything well since it was our first time in. But let's get to what matters: the food. This was, hands down, the best, dining I've had in Fenwick Island. So so good. We had charred octopus, calamari, steak and the lamb meatballs. I'm still thinking about those meatballs and plotting on how to get back for more. The atmosphere was bustling, and our server JJ was friendly and knowledgable. We ordered vodka and sprite, and had interest in the Daily Bread with sourdough and foccacia, but I do not like blue cheese. JJ said no problem, it could be left it out. I was skeptical because restaurants rarely leave it out when I ask, but Our Harvest was on point. The runner who delivered it to the table stressed that bleu cheese was omitted. The bread was amazing, freshly made, warm and delicious. We like to get seafood when we are at the beach, but there isn't a lot on the menu that we both would like. I do like rockfish so we decided to share the herb & lemon stuffed whole Rockfish, wood fired, flaked & tossed with brown butter. Wow, that was incredible! The brown butter was rich and nutty and added an extra level of flavor to the lemony and flaky hunks of fish. We also shared the most tender asparagus I have ever eaten, and ended with beignets. It's a good thing we had a fridge in our room because we had a lot of food to take with us. Who doesn't love a fish snack in the middle of the night!

You can watch the sunset but at the table by the windows, you may be a bit blinded by the sun until it sets and it got rather warm in the sun. It was worth it - watching the birds fly into the marsh and hop around. Previously, we have also sat outside on the small balcony at the high two person tables and high chairs. There is a better view of the bay from inside the restaurant since the restaurant and apartment building does not block the view on the sides.
