We started with a delicious roasted cauliflower dish with almonds and raisins, grilled Romaine served over beet hummus, roasted beets with feta and strawberries and their signature hummus with Persian pickles. Every dish with colorful and full of flavor. We also had Merza Ghassemi which is an incredible eggplant spread served with the most incredible Barbari bread. The rice was also flavored with fresh herbs. There is a spice jar on the table of sumac, a Persian staple, which was suggested to enhance the flavors of the food. Unfortunately the outdoor seating was booked (party of 5) so we sat indoors. It was quite busy for dinner. The menu is simple and just right. We ordered SO much food! The clam chowder was too watery for my taste. I'm a fan of thick hearty New England style clam chowder. I liked the onion rings with caviar but the batter took on most of the flavor. Caesar salad had a little twist: no croutons and topped with anchovies. It was yummy. Fish tacos were a hit; we ordered fried instead of grilled. The warm lobster rolls were delicious. I avoid gluten where I can so I got the fish sandwich without a bun. It was crispy on the outside, flaky and soft inside. Coleslaw made it whole.
