First time going to this local sonic as it is new to the area they are usually down south. You can either di the drive up experience or go inside. The servers all use Roller skates . There are plenty of food options and even more drink options. Food is pretty good anything from chicken sandwiches and burgers and especially the boneless wings. the server we dealt with was super friendly and very attentive, she definately stands out more than the rest. I highly recommend Sonic to others and I will definately go back to try more stuff. read more

I visited Sonic last night for the first time. We initially thought about having the authentic experience of the server skating up to our car, while we ordered from the menu touch screen, but as soon as we pulled up to one of the car hops, it felt so lazy. We decided to park and eat inside instead. The inside of this particular Sonic was surprisingly very clean for a fast food place. There was no line, so we were able to order right away...though, since the menu was new to us, it took a moment to digest everything. I opted for a Brown Sugar Bourbon milkshake to accompany my cheeseburger and tots (as recommended by the cashier). The food was pretty standard, but I enjoyed it...though I couldn't finish the milkshake because it was just too much food for me. I'm not sure I would rush back here, mainly because we don't eat a lot of fast food. I think we went more because we'd never been to a Sonic before. Now we can say we've tried their food, and that's that. Similar to being in a new city and trying In-and-Out Burger, or Chick-Fil-A for the first time...once you try it, the novelty wears off. read more

i don't have to watch commercials and envy the rest of America for having sonic! now its here!! its my first time to experience the in-resturant dining versus drive thru and it was so exciting the front guy was very nice and we had a blast conversing with him, i forgot the name of the drink i like and i described it and he knew exactly what i was talking about, definitely a smart welcoming guy i ordered the cheeseburger, chili dog, tater tots, and NERDS blueberry slushy. My husband ordered the chili fries and classic chicken sandwich all for about 20$!! whaaaat! by the time we chose the table and sat, the lady on roller skates dressed with a beautiful smile came with our full order and asked if we need anything else! fast food with a quality service! the buns were like clouds in my mouth, the burger had a yummy special sauce, the chili sauce was a meaty heaven topped with melty melty cheese on smoked beef hotdog that i can probably eat on its own as a snack all day long! i loved the fries on its own and with the chili its just irresistible! love love love going back for more read more

I ordered via the Sonic app. The order was placed at 6:55 per my credit card charge. I checked with the counter several times. At 7:20 I went to the counter received my food. 2 out of 3 beverages were incorrect. The chicken in my sandwich was less than 1/2 the size of the roll and barely warm. Facility itself was not dirty but looked old and messy. Staff was inattentive but did correct beverages when I brought them back to the counter. Stopped by for a quick shake. Saw the drive through line and decided to just pull into one of the car hop spots. Will always do this from now on. Got my shake that I ordered in about 5 minutes. Shake is good! A little too thick to start, had to wait a little bit to get a good sip in. Food looks good. I will be back to try that out as well. I have waited YEARS for this. I have missed Sonic so much. About as much as you Mighty Taco types would miss their food if you were living in a state without one. The people are super friendly and I pray they remain so after the initial hype is over and the lines are normalized. The food we had was exactly as that of the ones I grew up with in the South. I always choose the Number 1 with BBQ sauce and tots with a large Vanilla Dr. Pepper. If you haven't tried their signature drink of Cherry Lime- aide you must start there. Happy hours after 4pm every day where their drinks are all half price. Please give them a shot...it is something different and I PRAY catches on to the other burbs around the B'lo!! read more

The chicken was old and dry. I had 6 orders, the buffalo sauce boneless wings were not sauced... they forgot all our sauces and napkins. Cheese sauce on hot dog was watery. The kid on the skates said oh yeah it's on the ticket its in the bag.... The kid taking our order is barley of age, the kids making the food are not doing a good job. Save your money. The 45 minute drive through wait at 10PM on a Tuesday night is despicable. Cars were backed up to the entrance. Only one carhop skating around and the girl who took our order (and spent 5 minutes just doing that, fumbling through the menu) was just standing around in the drive through window drinking something! Clearly, this is an understaffed operation and the food wasn't as good as I've had from other Sonics. This was a bit of a let down considering I've had much better experiences elsewhere at Sonic. Fast food, processed, chemicals, food dyes. When you are completely not caring about what you eat, drive on over. And heck, you don't even have to burn 1 calorie by getting out of the car. You can drive up to the bays where a car hop will come out on roller skates and take your order then bring it out to you. My teen likes to eat the boneless wings there. 15 minutes from the door to the counter, not to bad for still a lot of hype. Cheesy bacon dog (real crispy bacon!), tots and a classic burger for later... cherry limeade, is Good. Wife got the ultimate chicken sandwich (the chicken was like an inch and a half wide and at least twice as long) very good. fries and standard ice tea. So happy we finally have a Sonic. here, Haven't been to Sonic, since 10 yes ago in North Carolina. I went on grand opening last Thursday, I knew they're would be a line to get it. They have 2 drive thru ,and about 10 drive ins. I decided to dine inside. It took 1,5 hours to get into the restaurant and to place my order. I got the Sonic cheeseburger and a Peanut butter snicker sonic blast, my bill was 9.00, but I love their shakes and blasts.. I sat down and about 10 mins later the waitress skated my order to me. so i just literally waited on line for 10 mins for them to screw up our order. so over people getting paid $13-15 an hour. to screw up. i paid $20' for soggy fries. The cashier was very slow and unwelcoming. change for a $100.00 bill was mostly singles. Although the food and delivery of it was good I was truly dissatisfied with the lack of cleaning and sanitizing taking place while I was there. We dined inside and did not see any tables being cleaned after or before customers were seated. The bathroom (ladies room) had toilet paper on the floors and had not appeared to be cleaned in awhile. While the general population is trying to get comfortable with this new way of life especially dining out, cleanliness to me is of the utmost importance. read more

I waited for the newbies to swarm this place and then try it. I finally went a month after they opened. It was spot on for Sonic, I've been to sonics all across the country and this was up to par. I saw some waiters on skates and some not. It's a rule the must ALL be wearing skates unless there's poor weather. read more

I really enjoyed my visit now that the crowds gone. I shared tots with my boyfriend got a slush with nerds n my boyfriend got a number 1. I normally don't review chain restaurants, but bring that it's the only one in the area, along with a guilty pleasure of mine I just couldn't resist. It's a good solid fast food place. I've never had a bad experience or bad food, and the service is always absolutely great. I've tried several things there over the time it's been in this location and don't have a bad thing to say about any of the food options. Their breakfast options are great and I believe they serve them all day too. Last time, I stopped in for some ice cream and I couldn't resist getting some tater tots, as they are the perfect delicious golden crisp every time you order them. Their Reese's ice cream was delicious and the perfect salty sweet combo with the tater tots. It certainly hit the spot I was hoping for. read more

We went to sonic today and ordered a medium Tator tot, and it came with about 5, was the size of a kids mini size. Then, for dessert, our blue raspberry tasted like green apple (and we were charged an extra 40 cents for something that was supposed to be included) and then our mini ice cream was charged as a medium (with no cookie dough in it, just vanilla ice cream), same with our other cookie dough, just wasn't mixed, and our Oreo had whole cookies in it and just wasn't mixed. Probably will not be returning. And the menu... had NOTHING on it.. yet on the monitor & on the tables there was all theses fun shakes and drinks yet.. we had no knowledge of them because they weren't on the menu.. read more

First time ever at a Sonic and I was definitely impressed. I got a double burger , tots and a lime slush ...I expected the " fast food style" small sloppy mess but hold the phone ! What I reciced was two good size and quality burger patties 2 dices of cheese and a very nice , fresh slice of tomato with lettuce onions and mayo just as I ordered. I absolutely am not ashamed to admit that my self along with my husband did visit sonic on its opening day, we were 4th in line. And it was worth the 2 hr wait the burgers were fresh and juicy the car hop service was fine yes the girl was a little nervous ( I think she even ran into the order sign) our order was correct one of the 1st to come out I believe loved the cherry lime aide,the hubby had his snickers blast he was in heaven,2 meals were $20. So this won't be a cheap date but you will be satisfied in greasy-sugar filled heaven read more

The burgers are decent, although the ones from Bill Gray's and Five Guys are better. Hot dogs are much better at Ted's, which has a location next door. But the service is fast and friendly, the cranberry slush drinks are outstanding, and the breakfast sandwiches are excellent. Not a bad place to stop for a quick meal. Their milkshakes bring all the boys to the yard...and apparently it brings me there too. Holy moly! The milkshakes here are unbelievable. They are super creamy, slow melting and not too sweet. I never get milkshakes because they always disappoint well not these. The banana cream pie is like a slice of liquified totally delicious pie. The slushies also get an honorable mention! I came friday afternoon around 730 to the drive menu i waited for customer service once i pressed the button nobody answered i did it again same results. I come today at 530 i oder couple items for my family my milkshake is melted time it gotten to car , i orderd 2 burgers it was so dry i was choking on it. The mozz sticks were over cooked. Like an idiot on went on opening day. They said the wait would be 1/2 hour so considering I heard over 3 hours I was willing to wait because my son really wanted to try it. After over an hour wait for the drive thru with an antsy 10 year old I got to place my order - check #300596 totaling $37.21. Not a pittance for fast food, that wasn't fast. But again, I knew this was first day and I was prepared for a wait, twice as long as noted, but okay at least the food would be hot right? WRONG. My order was incomplete, even after I asked Carhop: Gillian if everything was there because she initially read back the wrong order at the pick up window. I looked in the bags, everything seemed to be there and with cars backed up forever I didn't want to be there too much longer causing more of a back up. My milk shakes looked soupy, but again I was in a forgiving mood, they were swamped on opening day. I drive all the way home and guess what, my hamburger is a cheeseburger, my daughter doesn't eat cheese and my receipt clearly says Sonic Burger Dixie. I order 2 onion rings, a small and a mini; I was charged, but they weren't there. My fries were lukewarm at best as were all 3 of my burgers except my son's with no bun (gluten allergy). I don't live that far away so it wasn't the drive that cooled things off. No way I was driving back to that mess so I tried to call the number on the receipt 716-391-1888, doesn't work. So I call Sonic Corporate, well this location isn't in their database yet, but they took my complaint anyway - ref#113595058. They only person happy with Sonic is my 10 year old son. Went there on Monday at 11 am, ordered two chicken sandwiches and fires and tots. Chicken was dry tasted old, not even warm. Fries where hard and not warm tots where hard and not warm. Yes long awaited cool place. Really nice helpful employees. The food - might/might not give it another try but from majority of reviews - not! The highlight was that the food arrived home fairly warm. The absolute WORST hot dogs we've ever had - tasted like all beef & ALL SALT - & I'm a salt lover. Terrible foot longs & we threw half or more out. And could they give you less chili or onion on it? Not enough to hide the weird taste. Maybe it's just the footlongs? Tater tots - meh. Milkshakes -$4.09 for a medium? And way too thick! BK & MD are better & cheaper. Unless you're into the roller skating outside serve stick with our standards. read more
