If I could rate it 0 I would. I've lived next to this sonic for 8 years. I'm currently sitting in the drive thru right now and I just downloaded yelp and wrote this current review just waiting for someone to answer over the com about my ONLINE ORDER I ORDERED 15 MIN AGO ( I'm the only customer) I also watched all of the staff walk out and take pictures of the current clouds in the sky.... This has to be the worst sonic in America. The level of incompetence is astounding. We live right by so it's convenient. But I don't think they have got a single order right ever. The employees literally run away when you have to tell them they got the order incorrectly. This place is so so bad. read more

We came by for a quick stop on our road trip last week. It was Wednesday 8/26/20 around 10am. We were the only car in the entire parking lot. Our order was taken quickly by a polite enough woman after pushing the button, the wait was average. My husband ordered a double meat burger with cheese tots, I ordered a plain and dry junior burger and my husband asked for packets of mayo and mustard, which are reflected on the receipt (no charge). On a social distancing note that in no way impacts the rating- every fast food place has been doing things differently, there is no set standard that I can tell. Burger King, for example, has been putting food, change, etc. in red buckets and extending it out towards you in the drive thru. Many years ago, I worked at Sonic, so I know they have red trays for the carhops, seems like the obvious social distancing tool. However, a quiet mumbly guy walked out with our bag and handed it directly to us from less than a foot away. Again, this doesn't impact the rating, it doesn't need to, it's just an observation I'm sharing because that's important to some people. He was the only employee we saw and he was masked. The food was mixed, but mostly terrible. They left out all the packets that were on the receipt. My junior burger was 1 star for sure, completely stale bun and barely lukewarm meat- ewww, I couldn't stomach it. My husbands burger wasn't much better, but the bun wasn't stale. Come on, you're giving us old meat that's no longer warm at 10am? What else are you doing in there?? The cheese tots were good and they were smart enough to include a fork so we could eat it, so...good on them? It was so bad that we were discussing the rating while we were still in the parking lot. I rarely give 1 star reviews and stated I thought this might be my first 1 star for a food place. My husband had the really good point that a 1 star experience is the exact opposite of a 5 star experience and nobody was rude to us and not all the food was equally bad. Good point, babe. Sonic, you're 2 stars, and you can thank my husband for that. To expand on the point that I used to work at a Sonic many years ago, I know some people hold all locations of their former employer to a certain standard because they know how easy or difficult certain tasks are. Yeah, that's totally me right now because there were enough employees to make up background chatter when placing our order and we were the ONLY car!! The display system is not difficult to read, the grill is not difficult to operate and the wait for the food was plenty of time to make all the items fresh...because we were the ONLY car and it was before the lunch rush. I've run a breakfast shift by myself and given out better results as a teenager. If there had been one single employee working due to labor impacts from the pandemic who was forbidden from wasting a single patty due to meat supply shortages, they still would've thrown the patty back on the grill to warm it up (in which case it would have been hot and overcooked) and everything on the receipt would've been in the bag. So yeah, I know what we got was the result of laziness. I don't believe I'm being too harsh. I have standards for food but all my years in customer service have made me an extremely patient and gracious customer. But this right here? It would give my former Sonic GM a heart attack!!! Why? Why would you kill Brian like that? He's a good man! Worst sonic ever!! Most stalls don't work and they make you drive all around till you find a working one. I order a large coke and it always takes 5 minutes, even if no one is there. There's always an issue at this place.....I'll take the neighborhoods advice and keep driving to white settlement sonic instead. read more

Would rate ZERO stars. They completely messed up our order 4 times. 4 TIMES our carhop person had to go back I felt bad but since we paid we wanted what we ordered. They gave us all completely different items than ordered and then (this is the cherry on top) our carhop stated that someone in the kitchen said "you didn't order a RT 44", I told him yes I did since it is clearly on the RECEIPT! The carhop person was apologetic and during him going back and forth he kept checking our order and had to go back again to have it corrected. Poor kid even kept apologizing after realizing his staff was giving him wrong orders. During this time another customer also parked next to us and complained about their order being wrong as well and asked for a refund. This location is horrible. Please do not waste your time nor waste your money here. They were decent a year ago but now. This place is complete trash. Stay away. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. When I tell you this place is horribly managed... IT IS!!! We live close by and it's convenient. However, they seem to mess up every single time. I don't think anyone knows how to make a limeade, shake or blast. To top it off, I ordered a blast with RBC and the ice cream tasted similar to sour milk... I wonder why. The service is not fast for fast food and the food/drinks compared to other Sonic's in the neighborhood are horrible. Now that the new one is open on Clifford, I will drive the extra 10 minutes to ensure these people do not raise my blood pressure at 9pm at night because they do not comprehend simple english or how to take an order. Keep driving a few more exits and find another spot to visit. read more

I would give zero stars if I could. When I pulled up and ordered, I gave her my order and she didn't even repeat it back. That was my first red flag. Then I waited and waited and waited. A guy pulled up next to me, ordered, and left before me. And looked like he got just as much as me. I had to shout at the carhop and ask him what's taking so long. He proceeded to ask me what I ordered and I told him, he said he would go check. He came back about 5 minutes later and said my food "just came out". I noticed the sonic blast I ordered was a medium when I asked for a mini and the cookie dough had BARELY been blended in. I proceeded to open the bag and check the temperature of the food. Burger was barely warm and the tater tots were hardly warm at all. I caught the guy walking back inside and apologized as I'm not trying to cause trouble but told him the tater tots were barely warm. He went back in and came back out a few more minutes and I opened them up and looked at them and it was VERY CLEAR they just threw my previous ones back in the oil because they were overdone. I was so upset I called the store. It rang and rang. I had to hang up and call again. When someone answered I ask to speak to the manager. She came on the phone and I told her I wanted to explain my situation so it doesn't happen to someone else. I told her how long I had waited for my order (from 416pm-448pm) and she said they were short staffed which I understand but then said well then how did someone pull up after me and leave before me. She said in a NASTY attitude "it was a SIMPLE mistake and they overlooked my order" I am very disappointed even though they have terrible reviews and shouldn't be surprised. read more

Anytime I stop at this Sonic it turns out poorly. Employees can't get an order right or count change. Today the onion rings were burned. When I called to talk with a manager Cynthia said "they are all coming out like that". This service here is absolutely horrible. The past two times I've been here they have messed up our orders. Today's date is 6-23-19 it is 5:15 pm. I've waited a whole 20 mins at the stall for someone to answer so that they could fix my order that they screwed up 30mins ago. When we were in the drive through the girl asked us what we had and I told her, then she looks at the receipt and says "uh is this what you ordered?" Can she not read or something? I picked up an online order. Got home, it was miss an combo. I had to drive back and didn't even was offered a free drink.

This location is very convenient when I am on my way home from work. It's hidden behind an Exxon gas station and not visible from the highway. The service here is always prompt and the wait time is very limited. I usually come during half-price burger night on Tuesday evenings. The burgers are very delicious and vegetables used are always fresh. If your in the area and need some delicious burgers or shakes, look no further than Sonic! read more

Wish i could give a 0 star review. This place is my last resort to stop to get food at because I have had several bad experiences here. Helen Keller could work here alone and do better and provide better service than this Sonic location does already when they have a full staff. This place takes way too long to make orders and take payments and I cant remember a time when my order was actually correct. Visited Sonic at IH30 And Chapel Creek as I had an urge for a good hot dog and since I haven't had a sonic dog in a while I decided on this location as it was on the way home. I ordered two chili/cheese reg. coneys and small fries. After several attempts to get my order right, I settled back ready to enjoy. Approximately 15 minutes later my order arrived and since it took so long I had to leave immediately to return to my business. As soon as could I made ready to eat. Apparently the dogs were nuked in the microwave as they were very hot and the cheese was crispy as was the bun. The fries were also hot but tasted like they were cooked in last month's leftover oil. There is much construction going on around this Sonic so I will give them the benefit of doubt this time, but it will take a long time for me to build up the trust I had with "America's Favorite Drive-In". read more
