There is an area by the door that the feces have been built up and the employees walk through it every time the walk in. It is obvious that this has been this way for a long time. I don't order much, and my order isn't difficult, but for some reason the staff can NEVER get it right. This past Saturday, I only went for a Cherry Limeade through the drive-thru. The guy asked me... are you in the drive-thru or sitting down here?, I said, drive-thru. Drove up and waited 5 mins only to be asked, "what did you order?". Then waited another 6 mins for my drink. Five years ago my wife and I ordered at the restaurant with only one other customer waiting for their order. It took 20 minutes to get our simple order of 2 cheeseburgers & fries. The burgers were terrible, and the fries cold. We swore we would never return, but recently the commercials for their double smash burger gave us hope they may have improved. We decided to try again. We ordered thru their app 2 double smash burgers, order of fries, and onion rings. It stated order would be ready in 10 minutes, which was ok because it would take that long to drive there. Deja Vu... when we arrived there was one car in the lot, and one in the drive thru. We checked in as instructed on our cell phone, and received a message back that server would bring our order out shortly. Both the other cars left so we were there alone as we waited & waited. After 15 minutes my wife pounded on their door & finally a young man stuck his head out & asked if he could help her. We want the order that we have been waiting for. He went back in, grabbed a bag, handed it to my wife & said here you go. When we drove home we were starving & looked forward to our meal. Sadly what we got were 2 double smash burgers that were overloaded with salt, and what little meat there was burnt. Ended up throwing most away. I tried an onion ring, but they were dripping oil, and tasted terrible. Dumped the rest. I wanted to complain to their HQ, but found little hope of finding help as my complaint would probably be lost among all the complaints filed by others. read more

I bought a few things this afternoon at 4:30 p.m. I went through the drive-in. Nobody was in front of me or behind me during my visit. I ordered a large fry ($3.59), and a large Choc. Shake ($5.99), equalling $9.58. Michael was pleasant on the speaker and when handing me my order. The shake was excellent but the fries were barely warm and pretty stale. The perfect solution to covid-19 right now! Dine in your car or get take out! I grew up in Montana and Seattle where there was no sonic where I am from so this was exciting to have pop up on the map on a road-trip. There is an option to eat in your car right there and have a drive up menu and also an option to drive through like a regular fast food joint. I chose the latter. There were so many choices I was overwhelmed but the one thing I had never seen much on a menu was hot dogs! I ended up getting a Coney Island foot long hot dog and mozzarella sticks with marinara sauce since that's usually not on the menu for regular fast food. I also ordered a strawberry lemonade but it was very difficult to chose between all their crazy amazing options for drinks. Receiving the order was strange as I sat in a drive through line but a guy came to my car even though I was still in a car line and took payment and handed me the food directly. Felt like it could've been a little safer for covid so an improvement there could be made. At least both of us were wearing masks. The food was amazing though and the strawberry lemonade especially was amazing at the right sweetness level and real bits of strawberry in there. I wish it was possible to give ZERO stars. Last night was the LAST time I will ever visit this Sonic location or possibly ANY Sonic location. Terrible customer service, and I believe they do NOT follow any health protocols to prevent Covid and might possibly be putting customers in danger of contamination. Read my experience and eat here at your own risk. Last night around 7:30PM I went through the drive-thru to pick up some food. One of the things I ordered was a "medium" chili cheese tots. I received a "small". The guy that handed me my order was wearing a shirt that said "Team Lead" on the sleeve. I pulled the small order of tots out of my bag and said, "this looks like a small...I ordered a medium". His response to me was, and I quote, "the cook gave you a small container but its a medium"....huh? How could a medium item fit in a tiny container for tots? I counted there were about 6 or 7 tots...which if that is a medium how big is a small? 3 tots? I said, "No, thats not right. Show me what a small looks like then, if this is a medium?" He abruptly shuts the window and comes back again arguing that the cook gave me a medium portion in a small container. I have never seen or heard of anything more ridiculous that this! I asked for my money back. He said, the cook will give you another one. I said, fine. He then asks me to return the first one! I said, if you are just going to throw it away, I will keep it. That is absolutely wasteful." He said "No, you need to give it back! I will put it back under the heat lamp for the next customer or the cooks can eat it!!" That is a direct quote. WOW! Shocking. This was a chili cheese tots that comes in a little bowl inside of a baggie, that I had pulled out and inspected, possibly touching with my fingers! So they take food from a car, and put it back for another person to eat? In this time of Covid and supposed better cleaning standards? Shocking! I did return it to him as he insisted or he would not give me my correct sized order. I guess this is how they handle food there????? Not only did the guy wearing a "Team Lead" t-shirt LIE to me about the size of the tots I had paid for, but he possibly gives out contaminated food. I am going to escalate this situation to the corporate office of Sonic. Just absolutely GROSS. Never again will I eat food from here. read more

We just come here for drinks on hot days and fill our tummies with yummy sugar water. We got a large last time since it was something like 35 cents more than medium and it was huge!! Took hours to drink and the flavor stayed till the very end. Not sure how that do that. Oh and there is a happy hour time where the sugar drinks are 50% off. A year later and they still can't get it together. Can't use the app for this store. Not enough employees to keep up with the Sonic Drive-in. Only taking walk up and drive through orders no drive in stalls can be used because of short staffing. I used the walk up and it took 40 minutes from start to finish. They forgot items and a few drinks were not made as ordered. To top it off I was not able to get the special pickle burger advertised on the app because they didn't have all the ingredients. I really enjoyed the food I got but the service was so terrible I decided I'm not going back.
