We understand everyone has bad days, but when you're representing a business, especially as a manager, customers shouldn't feel like an inconvenience. I see a lot of bad reviews for this location and for what it appears to be, people are complaining about piddly-ass issues. Unless I just always happen to go at the right time or stick to the food items I know are good? I don't know. Personally, I have always experienced great food and service from this location whether I have Door-Dash pick it up or I am nearby and do it myself. I'll tell ya what the service and food must not be too bad considering how busy they always are! And the prices must not be too bad either otherwise folks wouldn't be going out at all! But the reality is folks the prices are high EVERYWHERE anymore because the dollar is losing value. That IS the cost of hyperinflation! And actually, I find the prices pretty fair here (actually lower) as compared to, say, McDonald's down the road, which somehow has a better rating overall. Weird. You at least know what you're getting for the price at Sonic. Ambiance is fast food flair. No playgrounds or ridiculous touch screens for the kiddos to play on. No dine in as most people know at Sonic, but is dine out (outdoor seating or pull up parking). Of course you can always do drive thru too. I certainly wouldn't want to be sitting out there in the summer. On most occasions I have ate here I usually get breakfast (as pics will display on this occasion) but I have tried different items over the years. Some are better than others but I have found that their breakfast burritos and sandwiches are pretty good. Popcorn chicken can be hit and miss where sometimes it seems fresh and other times not or at the least, it cooked too long. Their burgers are pretty good too on the few occasions I have had them and I always make sure to get a cherry limeade when I come here -and I say few because I don't get to come to Sonic all the time but when I do I can't say I've had any of the experiences others have had and mine have been pretty good. But then I learned long ago not to frequent fast food establishments at times the majority of people do (ie during prime time hours). If you go any place when it's busy of course you are not going to always get the best they can offer AND you will wait longer. I have ate at several Sonic locations over the years between when I lived in Florida and living in Arizona, and sure I have had a few mediocre experiences, but I could probably count on one hand the few times it wasn't that great which were few and far between, which by the way, I sum up more to be a particular menu item itself not being well executed as a whole vs. the service itself. As in anywhere, one item is not always going to be as good or flavorful as the next, thus I usually stick to items I know I can't go wrong with and prefer to keep it simple. But as for this location in SanTan, they have been on top of their game for the most part. The food is always made hot and is fresh. Drinks and shakes are always good as well. Definitely recommended for a quick bite if you're tired of the same ol' same ol' joints and want something different. read more

This Sonic is treats delivery drivers terribly!! Their own directions in the driver app say to pull up to a stall and the press the button and the order will be brought out. But when you do that they tell you they won't bring you the order and you gave to go to the patio to get the order. All other orders are brought to cars but they won't do that for delivery drivers, we are second class. Which really sucks when it's 120 out. I won't pick up orders here anymore and neither will the other drivers I know. All of the other sonics bring the orders to the drivers. Just not this one. And the staff is sooooo rude to deliver drivers. Do better!!! read more

I am writing this review as we sit at this Sonic. Well this Sonic lately is serving cold food, ordered well done fries and well done tater tots and they both came out room temperature and under cooked. I also ordered a small chocolate shake with no whipped cream and of course it had whipped cream on it and asked for then to please bring me one without the whipped cream on it, he took it away and brought it back with most of the whipped cream scraped off the top and it was melted, it had been sitting so long the cherry had sunk completely to the bottom. The burgers and fries here are what you would expect from sonic, but this location is always pretty crowded as it's right off of Hunt highway so getting in and out quickly during evening rush hour is just not an option. Route 44 Coke's are always awesome as you know, but for whatever reason this locations fountain drinks always seem to be off. I just went to the Sonic on 51st ave and Baseline. I can understand the servers are hot and trying to get out of the heat quickly after rushing food out for who knows how long all day but when i received my order that included large fries I checked it right away. I looked at the half filled fry container (and no fries in the bottom of the bag), took it out of the bag and asked the girl is this what you call a large and she hadnt even really looked at it and said yes as she walked away. I am amazed because I usually go to the sonic on 7th st and baseline and when a large fry is ordered they dont come out looking like someone ate half of them. What you will see in the first picture are only a very few fries standing up to look like the box is full but when you look in the box looks like they were half eaten. Worst food I've ever seen in fast food. We will not be going back. We're not very picky at all. My husband went there to order popcorn chicken, corn dog, mozzarella sticks, tator tots, chicken sandwich and some milkshakes. Milkshakes are good. They didn't give us our two orders of popcorn chicken. Instead we got jalapeño poppers. How do you screw that up? We didn't get tator tots. The mozzarella sticks were obviously old. The cheese was hard and cold inside. And, the nastiest, the chicken sandwich on the inside, the bun was BLACK. Completely black. $34 worth of food for lunch to feed our family and we didn't get half of it. The half we did get, went to the trash. Absolutely awful. I'd give zero stars if I could. This past Thursday my family and I pulled into the stall, ordered our meals, and settled in to chat while we waited. During our wait a handful of employees were socializing, flirting and kissing, near a car in the stall next to us, one employee with her headset still in, obviously on the clock. Normally this socializing among young people wouldn't upset me. What did upset me was that, after thirty minutes, our food still hadn't arrived. I pushed the order button again and asked about our order. The person on the other end asked what we'd ordered and then replied, "Oh, they didn't make it." I asked to speak with a manager and, instead of sending out a manager right away, a young man came out with an order, allegedly ours, not more than two minutes later. The order wasn't correct, wasn't ours, and when I brought this to his attention he replied snottily, "Well that's what it says in the receipt." I asked him again to send a manager out and this time a very nice and apologetic manager named Olivia came out to us. Although I understand they were having issues with the order system, someone took our order, should have been aware of the system issues, and should have noticed our order wasn't in the queue. Perhaps if the employees had been working rather than playing grab ass in the parking lot, someone would have noticed our unfilled order and us waiting in the lot. read more

There is always a long wait for your food, weather you order through the app, drive thru, or sit and wait pushing the red button and sometimes you have to go to the door to make sure they know you have arrived because they don't respond for awhile. The food is usually good but smaller portion sizes then shown, the premium burritos are small, the size of their Jr Burritos so if you want more food for less $ or the same cost, order 2 Jr Burritos you will get more then 1 premium. The manager argues with you about portion sizes and doesn't seem to be bothered by the long wait times.
