Pre ordered on the sonic app for 4 drinks. I arrived at 8:58pm on Saturday and waited over 40 minutes for my order. I pressed the button twice to ask where my order was and I also flagged down one of the runners to let him know that I had been waiting for 40 minutes for 4 drinks. When the girl with the nose piercing came to deliver my drinks I asked her what took so long and all she said was she had nothing to with it ... really ??? Terrible service and they are getting $20/hr ??? No wonder they will be going out of business. Well my fiancé and I have given this place about two years to get their ish together... back in 2020, we would get Sonic delivered and something would be wrong with our order. We thought that today, 2 years later, would be different. That was NOT the case. It started out promising, my drink was perfect. I always ask for the candies and my drink had them included! My fiancé got a milkshake. You'd think we would get two straws right? WRONG. We both ordered cheese tots. I got mine, but did my fiancé get his? NO. I ordered a double bacon cheeseburger but my burger didn't have bacon. Seriously, Sonic. Get your ish together. Sonic drive-in this location is a joke the last time I was there the bathrooms didn't work there was trash everywhere it's like they forgot to sweep up in the morning when I got there. I didn't feel like parking amongst all the trash and probably smell the rotten food so I went through the drive-through and got a foot-long chili dog and threw 9 inches of it away. Came here with my son, and they were out of tater tots so I got chili cheese fries instead but not worth it, very small portion for a large and the fries were rock hard and tasted old. I ordered a jr burger with fries and an apple juice kids meal for my son and when we got it he asked for the toy but there was no toy so I pushed the button and asked the girl and she said toys are $1 extra. I told her it doesn't say that on the menu and that it says all kids meals include a toy and she said its extra and hung up on me. I asked another girl walking by about it and she didn't know and went to ask and when she returned she said they don't come with a toy and I pointed out on the menu it says it's does. $5 for a small burger, a kids fry and a juice box was definitely not worth it. My family and I came here about a week ago. We went through the drive-thru. Food was warm and tasty. I had a grilled cheese double burger with a Coke. According to my grandkids, their burgers and slushes were "SOOO GOOD!" Service was helpful. It did take a little while for our order to be ready, but they're understaffed. I gave this place 3 chances. The first time was ok, the 2nd time I got half of my order and incorrect sized drinks and just today, I ordered 3 milkshakes, 2 banana small, 1 oreo, and one strawberry limeade. It took an hour to place my order, which is ok, I knew they were busy so I was patient. But when my order was dropped off, I gave the girl in the roller blades 40 dollars for my bill, she asked if I wanted change, I said yes. Came here because we wanted to try the oreo ice cream cone that they were advertising but unfortunately they didn't have it anymore. We got the Oreo cheesecake shake instead. They have a free medium cherry limeade upon checking into yelp but when I told the person about it on the drive up, she couldn't understand us and had no idea what we were talking about. Didn't seem like she knew what yelp was either. She said she will tell her coworker to come out to y'all to us. The coworker finally came skating out and we showed him the check in offer, he had no idea what it was and said he would go ask about it. This Sonic location takes foreverrrrrr. Like 30+ minutes for 3 cars. The people who work are nice though.

Ok I don't leave negative reviews but this was pretty bad. I was searching for a reason to give them 2 stars. When I tell you I waited at the speaker in the drive through for 24 minutes before anyone took my order I'm not exaggerating. No cars were even in front of me anymore and the line behind me got huge. I thought for sure when I finally pulled around maybe someone would be at the window causing a delay, but not a car in sight. At the window the person was nice. However I don't even want to think about how long the person behind us would wait. If they waited 24 minutes for us and Sonic takes that long for them it would be close to a hour wait for a drive thru for them. Also I only ordered a blizzard, and even at the window took a while. I'm sure they must be busy and Sonic has to take consideration to their employees and maybe staff more people. read more

Employees were super nice and helpful and to compliment their staff, as I leave the drive through, an employee sprints to me before I could leave the parking lot with an item I did not realize was missing. Sonics is an interesting type of dining experience. You can either stay in your car at one of the parked spots and order from their personal "drive thru" menu or you can walk up, order, and sit at the tables they have. It's nice to see that they still keep the tradition of delivering your food in roller skates. This location is pretty clean. My friends and I decided to order up front and sit at the tables. The service is good here. According to my receipt, the person who brought out our food is named Chris. He was an excellent server! I'm giving 3 stars because of the quality of the food. The service and experience itself is good, but the food was dry. Before this visit, the last time I came was 10 or so years ago and I remember the same thing, the food being dry. It's kind of disappointing that 10+ years later and the food is made the same as it was when I last had it. I like the idea of Sonics and want to see it stay, but they have to do something about how they cook their food. Their burgers/sandwiches, tenders, etc. all look good and juicy in the commercials. Our order was pretty simple today two slushees and a regular fry - a refresher for a hot day . Thought I'd stop here for a treat after shopping . It was pretty busy in the stalls and drive thru - but the employees still have a job to do . Which includes customer service that I did not receive, rude employee took my order and didn't want to even TRY to assist with a discontinued drink , whatever . Upon adding some fries for a last minute add on the employee pretended not to hear me at the speaker, so I added it at the window - I hate doing that but don't pretend like you cannot hear me . There's a huge line on a Sunday afternoon and it's super hot out. I wait almost 20 mins to get up to the order spot only to find out they have no working debit or credit card machine. I was already stuck in line and had to wait for the next 3 people in front of me to get their order before I could leave and go elsewhere. I get that things aren't working all the time, the solution here would be to place a sandwich sign outside for everyone in the line to see that so that if it's going to affect their buying power to just abort mission and leave while they still can and go elsewhere! read more

We were on the way home (Elk Grove) coming from Beale Falls and I wanted to treat the kids to something fun. While it is a fun idea, they seem to be a little unorgonized. I would think they would have stuff nailed down by now to work out bugs. But the guy taking our order didnt seem to know what PowerAde was even though I had asked 3 times.
