After waiting 30 minutes and still no food, I noticed that the staff was only servicing one side of the parking lot. Apparently, you have to park on the right side to be served. Don't park in stalls 1 through 4. Board said that "Cameron" was on the way with our food 10 minutes ago and still nothing. I had never been to Sonic before, but after breaking my finger half a year ago, my coworker suggested I go get a splint, relax, and get a slush from Sonic. Now I had never been before, but I finally decided that I would give it a shot. I've been back another half a dozen times since then, and the pros and cons are usually pretty consistent. The drinks are always great. Filled with insane amounts of sugar, but they all taste great. I've even asked them to surprise me with something, and the workers always give me a great drink. As for the food, It's very average. The food itself isn't bad if you're hanging out with some friends late, wanted to get a bomb drink, and then decided you'd get some food just because the convenience of already being there. But I wouldn't go out of my way for the food, just the drink. Now a for service, the staff is treated so poorly here I don't even know what to say. The first time I came through, a lady at the window threw a drink at the worker and sped off. Another time, I could hear the guy screaming at the workers. I've had staff holding back tears as they told me to wait a minute through the speaker. Nobody deserves to be treated this way, and so my heart goes out to the staff and how poorly they're treated. Very inconsistent. We love the desserts here, and come here pretty often; but unfortunately sometimes the service is lackluster. Every once in a while it will be amazing! But most of the times, we get employees that seem miserable and couldn't care less. The wait time is horrible, but the worst part is that we don't get any "we'll be right with you" or "sorry about the wait" not even a thank you. No food photos, unfortunately, but great experience! This Sonic has a lot of car slots that allow for car ordering and eating. The service was great from our server and the food was even better! I ordered the jumbo dog with a Reese's shake and OH MY GOODNESS! I was very surprised at how much I enjoyed the hot dog from Sonic. I drove from Nimbus flat state park for a sonic burger and drink. Unfortunately, it wasn't worth the trip and I won't be returning to this Sonic location. I placed my order via the Sonic app- it arrived shortly after. I noticed immediately my drink (which I ordered with extra ice) had very little ice. My child was craving some tenders so went here and ordered some tenders and was in and out pretty quick, when I arrived home and gave her the tenders I was surprised just how dark they looked compared to other chicken tenders from other restaurants. At first I thought it might just be how they look but when I tried one the tenders they were extremely dry, my 4 year old couldn't even bite it. The commercials finally got to me and I pulled off the freeway to have some tots and a drink. This Sonic location is in a tough one as there are several well established options in their lot like Chando's, Flame and Fire, Habit Burger, Falafel Corner and the teenage meca Taco Bell. Went through the drive through and my first impression of the property was very good. I was quite impressed with just how clean it was in the parking lot, the drive-in stations as well as the drive through. Good job whoever the manager is! I went through the drive through to optimize my home arrival. Their drink menu is quite extensive and I was a little confused. My son got a plain lemonade (you have a choice of ~20 flavors to add in, some real fruit) and I had a Blue Raspberry slushie. I of course got the tots to pair with my Bacon Double-cheese burger. Bacon Double-cheese burger: 7 - Pretty skimpy in the lettuce and the meat was on the dry/plain side as expected. Bacon was crispy and the bread was soft so it was ok. Tots: 8 - Very crispy but almost too much so. I like to have a soft center in my tots so the 8 rating is in my personal preference. If you like them crispy then you'll rate them a 10. The fry sauce was pretty good with them as well as barbecue Blue Raspberry Slushie: 10 - The flavor was great, the ice was amazingly shaved and the flavor to ice ratio was perfect. I got brain freeze quite a few times and couldn't finish that drink as is. I actually added water twice to use up all the flavor. Lemonade: 9 - More tart than sweet which is how I like it. The ice was perfectly crunched but it was still a touch sweeter than I prefer. I found out after my meal that drinks and slushees are 1/2 price if you order through their app. I'll have to do that next time. Sonic ice is just the best there is I know that's a weird thing to say but their crunch ice is amazing with coke as well their the rest if their drinks. It really is the star if the show. I got to the window and the difference in service was night and day. The people at the window were so kind and repeated my order. The order was pretty much correct other than they mixed up my blue raspberry slushie for a regular raspberry slushie which they corrected instantly. I got my food and left to go home. Once I got home everything looked good except for the chili cheese tots which I feel did not have as much chili or cheese considering I paid and asked for extra. The tots were also a little sad and cold and had some random fries mixed in. The chili cheese dogs were good not cold and had enough of everything on them so I was happy. This place failed miserably. The first time visit went okay with the exception of wrong condiments (which I can deal with) so decided to go back for the second time, when things went so wrong. I ordered thru app and when we got there, we were told they were out of the drink I ordered. That's fine, I asked for something else and while the carhop was getting that for me, I realized what he gave me for the rest of my order was completely someone else's. When he came back with a new drink, we told him that this food was not ours, his reponse was "Are you serious?". Yes we would not joke about that. So he went back in to get our correct order and then came back, telling us they don't have two large onion rings we ordered. Alright....we asked for chicken popcorns and soft pretzel instead....he comes back with tator tots lol We were stunned at this point already. We asked for the money back in difference of two large onion rings and what he decided to give us. His response.....ahhh call the app. So we called the customer service to get the money back....next day we got a call from the manager at the store, asking us what exactly went wrong with our visit. She was nice and wanted to correct the matter by giving us two free combos. Two weeks later, we went back to redeem the two combos. I asked for bacon cheese burger, with extra ketchup and pickles.....The order taker was like just ketchup and pickels? No, extra ketchup and pickles. Guess what the order came out with just patties, cheese, pickles and ketchup. No bacon, lettuce, tomato, or mayo. At this point,　I thought I was being pranked. We rang the call button again to correct the matter and another order taker was like "I am so sorry, so you wanted just the pickles and ketchup?" What part of the word "extra" do they not get? My husband literally spelled it out for them saying "however the bacon cheese burger comes plus extra ketchup and pickles!". Too bad I like some of their food and drink items, but they just cannot get your order right at all. It is also idiotic that their app does not know what they are out of and they cannot give you a refund thru an actual store. So I went to Sonic today to try the big dill cheeseburger. Was very disappointed. I did not taste any pickle even though they were in there. The dilly ranch was damn near non existent. The meat tasted like a cafeteria burger. I also ordered the peach slushy. That also tasted like nothing. Not a hint of peach whatsoever. The only thing good out of my lunch was the tater tots. Terrible, terrible Sonic. I live about an hour away and am a regular at my local Sonic during the part of the year that they have Red Bull slushes. Today, I'm in Roseville for an appointment and stopped here for my regular slush, as well as a couple of drinks and small snacks for my daughters. Not really any issues with the food- but they are apparently one of the locations that switched to plastic cups. Which is terrible!!!!! I don't want my drink melted before it even gets here because it's not in a traditional, Sonic styrofoam cup. My main complaint is the wait though. I pulled up to a stall and while I would normally place an order on the app, there was something my daughter wanted that I can't order from the app... so, I ordered that item though the speaker and the rest from the app. I pushed the red button to order. 10 minutes later I pushed the red button again, even though it still showed that I was waiting on the screen.. 5 minutes someone came on. I ordered my daughters 2 plain cheeseburgers. We waited over nearly 15 minutes for JUST the two plain cheeseburgers. It wasn't crazy busy or anything. Just EXTREMELY slow. Just the stalls though. I noticed everyone else was waiting a very ling time too. I don't know how many cars I watched pull in to the drive thru and out of it though while we were waiting. There was many.
