We were on the way home (Elk Grove) coming from Beale Falls and I wanted to treat the kids to something fun. While it is a fun idea, they seem to be a little unorgonized. I would think they would have stuff nailed down by now to work out bugs. But the guy taking our order didnt seem to know what PowerAde was even though I had asked 3 times. Then when we got our order we were 1 sandwhich short. The kid who brought the food thankfully had looked back to see me wave him down about the missing sandwhich and was able to bring it back quickly. Thank goodness. Not the place to go for someone who has anxieties for sure. But I do love their cherry limeade. That is all I got because of a bad experience with their food during a visit at their North Carolina location a few years back. No complaints from the kids though! read more

HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED WITH THIS SONIC. I can't even begin to describe how annoyed I am. So I ordered the chicken slinger with no mayo which is what is supposed to be a chicken PATTY with pickles. Nothing else. I got a CHICKEN STRIP SANDWICH with shredded lettuce and a tomato. Literally, two chicken strips placed on a bun. Who does that?? No pickles anywhere to be found. What?? Why? If you couldn't make the sandwich how it's advertised then let me know so I can get something different. It's really frustrating that the service at this location always drops the ball. The shakes are amazing and they have great late nights snack items. Their corn dogs, mozzarella sticks, and Oreo Cheesecake Shake are wonderful. I'm just really disappointed that my order never is completed with the sauces and utensils. There is always something missing. It wouldn't be that bad, but when you order at their speaker box, it takes forever to get any service. Then to have to wait again, because you are missing items is even more frustrating. The staff always say that they will send someone, and never do. It's extremely hard to flag someone down to help out. The drive thru line is always out to the curb, which makes it even more frustrating because you have to wait again. read more

About once every six months, I come back to this place to remind myself why it's not worth it. The positive side is that they have created a culture of continuity, but unfortunately it's consistently bad. You would think that they would take advantage of the pandemic because they have specialized in social distance eating in your car for decades but they still can't get it right. The food is decent but the service has been slow and without anything resembling kindness, enthusiasm, or commitment to excellence for a very long time. There are just simply too many other choices in Roseville for you to spend your money here; unless your car breaks down in the parking lot. If you're the manager and you read this, please go eat at Chick-fil-A, In & Out, Blaze Pizza, etc and pay attention to what good customer service is like. Im not one to be happy about leaving reviews under four stars, but this review was needed. They advertise stalls closing at 1am, but me and my boyfriend arrived around 12:20 on 7/31/2022 and parked in a stall and were greeted by this deeper very annoyed male voice saying, and I quote, "why the f-k are you in the stall, theyre closed" followed by a brief pause before in the same annoyed tone, "stalls are closed, can you pull through the drive thru". I was shocked to say the least. If you're going to say something like that, atleast have your microphone muted before you pick up the headset. We pulled through the drive thru and the drive thru order taker with the accent was much MUCH better, super polite and sounded like he was happy to be there. It was a little long of a wait, but that's understandable due to understaffing everywhere now these days, especially in fast food. The guy at the window was super polite, shakes were made right and i politely asked to speak with the manager on duty. The reason for the three stars is how professionally the manager on duty handled the problem, he brought who he thought it was over to the window to apologize but it wasnt him who he grabbed. He figured out who it was, i think by the name Dahmien he said? It was one of the newer hires the manager said he thought it was. Manager gets five star, order taker gets five star, but that new hire, one star. Learn how to mute your mic properly or don't say stuff like that at all. I came here about a month ago with my mom and we decided to try it for a change we were really surprised because advertised they have a happy hour but I guess it's on certain drinks which when they advertise it on TV they have never said it before so it was a little deceiving when we got milkshakes and we didn't get them for happy hour price which it was still in time The staff working was very helpful and very friendly the guy even asked us before we place an order if we would need anything ahead of time and so he came back and brought us what we needed which was very nice he definitely went above and beyond this location has several different items to choose from they don't just have hamburgers they have chicken even have breakfast they have several different different items they also have a very white selection of drinks they have milkshakes and they have slushy's and they have ice cream and everything else they are definitely known for the milkshakes because it has so many different flavors I highly recommend this establishment Do anybody in the area they definitely have great food great service and great prices I will definitely be coming back here again very soon for more future visits read more

I have no clue how EVERY since time I come here they manage to mess up my drink. I'm not kidding, I only been here 5 times and all five times they had given me something besides my order or messed up my drink order. For example on Saturday night I asked my sister to pick me up a cherry lime slush and when she delivered it to me it was just lime. But on the receipt it says CHERRY LIME. Or the time my tatar tots was still frozen in the middle? How do you ruin that? Or why is my corn dog given to me cold after I waited like 15 mins? I don't know who manage this location but if it was me, I would be very very embarrassed. Usually sonic's food are not the freshest nor the best, but this had to be the worst Sonics I've ever visited. There was 4 cars ahead of us and it took us 30 minutes to get our food. 30 minutes !!! We ordered 2 drinks and a foot long dog which all came out to $15. Pretty outrageous. They messed up on order of course. Came out the opposite what we requested. We wanted a orange cream slush and blackberry slush. We received a strawberry slush and a orange slush without the cream. Our foot long hot dog is the grossest thing I've ever tasted. This hotdog had to be 2 days old at least. The dog was stale and half burnt on the surface. Texture was like rubber. I tried to pull the whole dog out and the bread kept falling apart. They didn't give us any utensils so I couldn't eat it with a fork if I wanted to. Waited that long for our food , I would've expected so much better . Horrible, Wednesday evening went through the drive-through, 1st concern, I had to repeat my simple order, Cheeseburger, chilidog, water 3x-three-times. 2nd concern, they charged 60 cents for a cup of water. 3rd concern, the cashier was confused when I handed her exact change to cover the change portion of the order. That behind me I moved on. Cheeseburger was horrible, the produce was warmer than the meat and cheese. Completely un-edible. Still hope! I had the chilidog. WRONG, microwaved hotdog with massive amount of cheese. So little chili you couldn't taste it. Certainly nothing like the picture. Love this sonic! Food is always fresh & hot. Love the quality every time. Customer service is great, usually pretty quick. And love all the parking available & location right off the freeway. I'm honestly surprised they only have 2 stars, maybe old reviews old staff?? Every time we are in Roseville, I love to get my favorite milkshake here at sonic. It's the peanut butter Oreo milkshake. This milkshake is also more expensive than the average milkshake. The last two times I came here, they did not give me what I ordered. BOTH times I ordered my usual milkshake. As I drove off and took a sip, it tasted odd - very plain. I get confused and opened it up and really looked at it. It was just plain vanilla. Not only did they not give me what I ordered, but they charged me more for it. I've been to this Sonic a couple of times now when we're visiting family up in Lincoln. Today however, was one of the worst experiences I've had and it's a complete waste of time trying to come back. We placed a mobile order for 2 slushies so we could have something on the way back to the Bay Area. Pulled up to a stall, checked in on our phone, and waited 25 minutes. During this time we could see cars that arrived well after we had parked, place an order, and get their food & drinks delivered while we waited longer and longer. At this point I pressed the order button to try to get ahold of someone to see what was the status of our 2 slushies. The employee on the other end responded, "we're short staffed today so your order may take another 20 minutes." I get being short staffed because I have to deal with the same issue at my work, but you really can't use that excuse when other customers that ordered after us are getting their food + drinks before we even got anything. At the 50 minute mark we had enough and left empty handed, as apparently our 2 drink order was too hard and time consuming to make. Had to call the Sonic cooperate phone number to get a refund because I wasn't going to wait another hour just to get it from this location. Don't recommend coming back unless you go to the actual drive through cause apparently mobile ordering is too hard to keep track of. The cherry on top was that in the time we wasted trying to get these drinks, we ended up hitting prime time traffic that we were trying to avoid in the first place. Seriously do not come here if you expect to get out in a timely manner. read more

First time visit at this location. I have not been a huge fan of Sonics menu offerings but my children were hungry and it was convenient. We parked in the parking stall and went over the menu from our vehicle. Our order was taken when we were ready and was brought out to us within minutes fresh and hot. Our bread was soft and warm, and our fried items were fresh out of the fryer and crisp. This was awesome because my children become hangry! My kids devoured the grilled cheese sandwiches, which stunned me because they dont eat a whole lot. The sitting area appeared to be clean and the staff was very friendly. Hi. I am writing this to inform whoever is in charge of this establishment about how nasty, rude, embarrassing your employees and staff is here at the Pleasant Grove location. This happened October 10, around 11pm. As my boyfriend ordered, a small cherry limeade, and a large order of mozzarella sticks , we were told to pull forward as we would get the total at the window. We finally got up to the window, very slowly the cashier, greeted us with the total only, did not repeat back the order like a cashier should. You can loudly hear another employee LOUD in the back, screaming, and cussing every other word. (She was so loud, that we could hear her as we were sitting behind another car in line.) I understand mix up happens, I'm a manager at a local food place as well. But the behavior of your staff was beyond disrespectful. The same cashier that you could hear yelling, and cussing, ended up talking about how they(the workers) messed up, but trying to make it seem like we were the problems, as you can hear her as loud as possible say "Well no one told them to pull forward!!" (When in fact we were told to pull forward) She then came to the front , and you can see said cashier and hear her more loudly, still talking about us, as another cashier had to jump in and tell her that we are still at the window and can hear her. Its a shame to have someone like that work for you, it says a lot about how you run your business without even meeting you. The employee or third party worker, that was there fixing something or whatever, looked extremely uncomfortable as he had to listen to this foul experience as well. I will be waiting for my refund, as I was charged twice. If my refund is not processed, I will be coming back in store to get said refund. I don't care if it was $8 or $80.
