Drive thru girl kept over talking me as i was trying to order items with 3 other people in the vehicle by asking me over 4 times if i wanted a drink with my first food item. I told her to hold on but she kept on. I finally said if i wanted drinks i will order them. I proceeded with the other 3 food items which had specific requests on them as in NO CHEESE on one and no pickle or onions on the other and drove around. The rude girl at the window said nothing except the amount owed. NO please, thank you, even good evening. Instead as we were handed the order she pretty much threw it at me and quickly closed the window, meanwhile as we were attempting to check the accuracy of the order to add insult the nasty manager came to the window and asked if we needed help. I mentioned the rudeness of the worker and she turned it around on me with a snarky remark about "bad day" i was having which in fact was completely incorrect. We were visiting the area and it was the coldest night since 1977 so we thought we were being nice going thru the drive through to save someone coming out to us. Turns out the order was incorrect because the girl didn't listen she was too busy trying to upsell us beverages. Rude crew, ruder manager and i use that term loosely, crappy food. THEY DON'T TAKE SCREEN ORDERS: Every time we go, the employees are rude. They refuse to take orders from screens. Every time we go here, they tell us to go through drive (after we've pushed the button and sat there for 15+ minutes waiting for our order to be taken). REFUSE SERVICE FOR FOOD ORDERS: I noticed a pattern at certain times of the day, they refuse to take food orders and say we're only taking drink orders. REALLY?? GROSS/ FILTHY: Inside and outside has trash and water on the floor. The employees don't wash their hands after going to the bathroom or taking out the trash. MOBILE ORDER: I placed an online order for 6 corn dogs for 6:15pm. I got there in time and was waiting for 45 minutes until the lady in the screen said "hey I know you placed a mobile order but we're so busy. Come through the drive through..." I did that, and THEN she told me "hey we don't have any corn dogs.." An hour of my time was wasted only to be told the mobile order I placed they didn't have. It would have been nice to at least be told that when I got there instead of sitting in there for an hour... she said she can't get me a refund but the app won't let me refund it because it's past the time it will let me. Gosh the service here is horrible and it truly is to lack of incompetence. It took about us about 15 minutes to even get to the window due to long lines but when we got up there the employees had no idea what our order was. We had to tell them about 7/8 times the order in a span of two minutes because they do not possess the ability to listen or process information. Even after the struggle of telling them our food and drink orders over and over they still proceeded to give us the wrong order. We parked to eat when we noticed that they had given us a burger with not a single topping and gave us the wrong drinks as well. We ended up driving back around to inform them that they gave us the wrong food and when we informed them of this we were met with a "okay so what's even wrong with your burger" the obvious lack of intelligence that the workers of sonic posses as well as lack of manners is appalling. We were never once rude even in the face of their stupidity and ill mannered behavior. Once we finally got the re made burger there was barely any lettuce and an extra small tomato with no pickles. When we arrived at the window the workers did not even inform us they were remaking the burger they looked at us and walked away leaving us sitting there unsure if they were helping or not. The genuine lack of manners and just an inability to be a good person is the reason why this sonic is so lowly rated and will soon go out of business. If I were you i would avoid the company at all cost if they hire incredibly rude individuals. This happened to us on Wednesday at around 7:50 so if you must go to sonic I recommend avoiding the night workers. read more

This is the absolutel worst Sonic I've ever been to. I live in Saint Augustine and I'd have to say that roughly 9 times out of 10 are terrible experiences. Fryer oil needs to be changed, 40 minute waits, out of half their menu, terrible attitudes, etc etc. I wish it could be better! read more

Would rate 0 stars if possible. This place has completely fallen apart and I'm not sure what's happened. It never had the best service but I have been twice now over the last 2 weeks and waited at the drive-thru speaker for 15 minutes waiting for someone to take my order. Nothing. Tried again just now and there are signs all over saying they are out of a ton of stuff, and new hours only open until 8pm. It was 7:30 when I went and it looked like a ghost town minus the drive thru line of 5 cars waiting for someone to come over the speaker which they never did. This place needs to be shut down and replaced with something else. read more

Came through to pick up a mobile order, sat in a stall for about 30 minutes before I decided to just try the drive through. All I ordered was 2 drinks and a pretzel and when I went threw the drive threw they were very rude and told me to go wait in my stall. When I finally got my order the drinks were discussing and green with lemons in them. read more

Just left there. 8pm and a girl came outside to say they are out of burgers. We decided to stay and then the first thing my daughter ordered was a mixed soda. Same girl said they were out of Dr Pepper And orange fanta. Simply don't believe it. Clearly the staff didn't want to service anyone anymore. Chick-fil-A gets our business now. I have eaten at several Sonics. This location has the worst service and the food was mediocre at best. To start we asked if they could do 2 separate orders, at the speaker. They replied yes, just hit the button for the second order after you place the first. We placed the first order and paid then hit the button. The person came back on. I started to place the second order and received no response. She never returned to take the order. The first order was delivered and still no one came back to take the order. We complained and rhe took the order. The forgot silverware in first order so that food was cold by time the second order was received. The first orders drink tasted horrible. I let our server know and she did not apologize or anything. They brought out silverware but no replacement drink. I said something again. Again no apology. They finally brought out the replacement drink. They were rude. Non apologetic for their mistakes. Will not be returning to patronize this place again. read more

We stopped at Sonics in between stores and home renovations. We haven't been to Sonics in years. Hubby agreed it's a great idea. I ordered the 6 boneless bbq wings and John ordered the All-American Hotdog with tots and a root beer to drink. The order comes out. My wings were lukewarm. Still appetizing. I had some of Johns Tater Tots. They were good and hot. John thoroughly enjoyed his Dog. Our server, Samantha was okay. No complaints. We will visit again. read more

Absolutely awful. I was in a rush but thought I had just enough time before my appointment that I thought I could toss a drive thru chicken sandwich down my throat. Chic fil a line was waaay too long of course. Wendy's was on the other side of the street and Arby's line was too long That's when I saw Sonic. I had never been to a Sonic before. So I thought, today is the day. Bonus no line. Initially it took a few minutes before a voice squawked "I'll be right wit you". So after eventually ordering a simple chicken sandwich I pulled around and waited at least 10 min before the attendant opened the window to tell me that they were just waiting for the chicken to come up". I thought ok it is taking an awfully long time but I was thankful that my first experience will at least be freshly cooked. I finally received my order and sped out of there to rush to my appointment. At the first stop I unwrapped the sandwich and bit into the nastiest tasting chicken sandwich I had ever encountered. To someone else's point, the dirty oil taste from the fryers was the first thing I noticed. However, after reluctantly taking that second bite I noticed something even worse the chicken was undercooked in the middle. Of course this made me gag and immediately discard the remaining said sandwich. This my friends was my first and last experience at Sonic. read more

We tried ordering just a couple slushes at 10pm and was told they were closed. Online it says they're open till 12AM. When I went back through I saw three workers hiding on the side of the building with the headset on with no one inside not one. this is hands down the WORST place i have ever gone to. we waited like 20 minutes to try and get our order taken at the drive up thing for them to tell us that we need to go to the drive thru. once we went to the drive thru we waited for even longer like 30 min just for them to tell us to pull up to the window. once we pull up to the window we get told that it would be too hard to get our order taken so we would have to go back through the drive thru again. this place is terrible the workers and service is even worse so unless you have like 5 hours before you are wanting your order then don't go. read more

A+ for some of the friendliest car hops ever! Not only that but they are highly efficient. They have the lowest prices in north central FL and offer 2 items that I've not seen on any other Sonic menu in the state. The breakfast items are cooked properly and it's always busy here. Weekday nights are odd as it is not busy so the young man you know only doubles as taking DT orders & serving them but the few patio orders as well. The poor guy is always runny and because he's a haste I nicknamed him the Sonic whisperer as I never can hear his mumble. Well for starters, they close at midnight. I tried to go last night around 9:30 and they told me they were closed, when in reality the people who work here are just rude and lazy. I've been to this location a handful of times and every time, I've had to wait in the drive thru for 30+ minutes even with only one car ahead of me. When you finally do get to order, it takes at least three times for them to understand why you are ordering. Then when you get your food, they either give you an entirely wrong order or mess up the order you have. When my sister and I visited this location, we had to order our food FOUR TIMES at the speaker and then we got a completely different order. We politely explained that this was not what we ordered and the girl at the window snatched the bag back from me and threw different food in it, more food that also wasn't what we ordered and threw the bag to me in the car. We had to ask them multiple times to make the order we had to tell them FOUR TIMES when we ordered. Aside from the general laziness and incompetence of the employees here, they are literally some of the rudest people. They did nothing but mess up our order and then proceeded to be horrible about the fact that THEY messed up and i wasn't paying for food that i did not order or want. They were so mean and nasty, I didn't even wanna eat my food by the time I did get it because this location is also known for spitting in people's food or doing stuff to the food when the workers get mad that they are too incompetent to even be working fast food. read more

So me and friends just wanted some slushees, and we use their drive through at 10:00 pm and we sat there for 20 minutes waiting for someone to take our order just to pull up to the window and see the employees completely ignoring us. As we drive away mad, we see the employees help the car behind us who had also been sitting behind us. We are just depressed teens who wanted slushees. Do Not Recommend, unless it's the middle of the day where they have more than 3 staff members there. read more

Absolutely garbage. I waited almost an hour for my food. After multiple who order before me got all their food and order more than me. On top of that they told me my food was already ready and they left it on the counter for 20 minutes and never brought it to me.
