Painful. Horrible. Dr. was rude, very disrespectful and my very worst nightmare once we were in the procedure room. The entire Sono Bello treatment/experience was the worst decision I have ever made - and truly a horrible waste of my hard earned savings. I have never been in that much pain. Burning, screaming, sobbing, swearing. Get the picture? It was horrible. I can't imagine how the nurses go through this day in and day out. Dr. didn't even look back at me when he finished. Just mentioned it was a good thing I wasn't coming back from my stomach because that would hurt twice as bad! Do Not, I repeat, Do Not go to Sono Bello. Picture the Dr. from moving my body (in minimal undies they give you) around like I was a slab of meat. Zero respect for me as his patient. Even went as far as saying when I asked a question: "this is not your turn to speak". I still don't know why I didn't walk out after the way he spoke to me...or why after an hour of screaming in pain, I didn't insist that he stop. The only staff members who I would provide glowing referrals to (to get them out of there) was the nurse in my treatment room, and the gal who oversees patient care. Expensive, very difficult to get the "rest of your money back" when you don't complete the treatment. Make sure you check out your other options in Bellevue. Others will give you more sedatives. When I go back to get the Sono Bello botched job fixed, I will be going to a Plastic Surgeon that will put me under for the procedure. I planned this out for years. Why I never checked Yelp or Better Business Bureau for real reviews I can't explain. Please take your time, go with the clinic that sets you up with an interview with the Dr. in advance of your procedure and who walks you through what is going to happen. I have had a horrible experience with Sono Bello San Diego. The Sales staff were amazing and then after that it has been a nightmare. Surgery-2 1/2 hours late Aftercare- When I had questions on concerns it was like pulling teeth to get them to respond to me. Results-I actually looked better before then after. Last appoint I was told that I would see a doctor so he could see what I was talking about...he was not there and I was told if I wanted to see him I would have to go to Beverly Hills because that is now where he works. The nurse did acknowledge what I was concerned with and was told that I would need to get another procedure but they don't do in their office. (Reverse abdominoplasty or Fascia Blaster) Those are both very expensive! I was told that I was a perfect candidate and I now I cry daily when I see what I look like. Please do your research on this company and consider going to a real plastic surgeon instead of a shop and rob. read more

I have had tremendous success since the surgery. I started out at nearly 250 pounds and with a 42" waist. Surgery was January 15th to day is June 19th. My current weight is 199.6 pounds and I am wearing 34" waist jeans and shorts which are still a little too large on me. I wore 34" waist and high school in 1966 when I graduated. My weight hasn't been this low in 25 maybe even 28 years. What I owe my success to besides the liposuction is portion control and watching what I eat. I no longer eat potatoes in any form or macaroni or bread or starches with the exception of a tree when I have a cold macaroni salad or a starch when I have a portion of a Donut. Breakfast consists of 1/2 cup raisin bran extra reason serial in 2% milk and a cup of coffee half regular 1/2 decaf. About 10 or 1030 I treat myself to another cup of coffee and to either a 1/2 of a cake donut or a quarter of the cake donut. Lunch consists of something light like a vegetable peace were corn or green beans and some kind of meat usually something that I've had left over from previous meals. When I go out to eat I immediately get a to go tray and a divide any meal I get in half to take home then have another day. Mid afternoon I have another snack either half or a quarter of a donut with a glass of milk about 4 oz and then I wait till supper. Dinner or supper consists of a vegetable me something to drink mostly water and typically when I eat out I save half of that meal.  I don't hesitate to have red meat chicken or fish I don't have breaded or battered foods. I occasionaly at night about 9 or so will have a little more milk and possibly a small part of a cinnamon bun or just something sweet not heavy and not a large amount. Through your program which was called mindful eating I learned 1st hand that the 1st few bites of anything you eat taste the best. After those 1st few bites I assess whether continuing to eat really tastes good or if it's habitual. If it's a habitual and I don't really appreciate the taste I don't eat any more.  On a daily basis now My weight typically does not vary by more than a pound or 1.4 pounds so I am trying to stay at or below 200 pounds. Oh boy where do I start....I retired from competitive bodybuilding in 2004, moved to Seattle in 2008 and was in the best shape of my life. I never thought I would ever have a weight or self-esteem issue until about 6 months ago. Don't get me wrong I'm not obese or anything like that, but I know for me, I wasn't on top of my game, sure I looked fabulous in my clothes on and off, but certain areas just don't look the same. So, I started working out again watching what I eat, cut back on the drinking and eating out every day, sure I have a lot of muscle memory, but things weren't snapping back right away and now I look at my body and I still have the shape of BB, but now my triceps are looking really large and I now have wings.....LOL. I decided to do my research into liposuction to see if that was the right thing for someone in this situation as well as looked into hypnosis and that just didn't make any sense to me, because my issue wasn't working out or eating, my problem was losing the fat, but not being able to tone up tightly without having bulk which I have. So I was watching the tele one day and saw Sono Bello's commercial and decided to make an appointment for their free consultation. My appointment was schedule with Bethany, she was a delight to talk to, she listened to everything I had to say and what my concerns were and she answered all my questions. Questions as such: Have you worked with Bodybuilder before? What was the outcome of working with individual who still have a lot of muscles that want to shed the extra fat? What is the recovery time frame? Not once did she try to talk about money, because I was only there to gather information. I was given a packet of all the things we covered that I I wanted to pursue this approach I would have the information at hand. I also wanted to make sure that I think about this process - NO PRESSURE! Finally, one morning I was getting ready for work and decided to wear a particular outfit and I couldn't get my football arms into the top; I got so frustrated worked from home that day. I also, took out the packet Bethany had given me and started reading everything line by line just to make sure I wanted to take this approach. I even called my personal trainer back home and sent him a picture and asked him for his advice. We talked about a couple of components that was preventing me from getting arms to snap back and at that moment I made my decision. I called Sono Bello and make a second consultation appointment to go over the process and what was involved and asked Bethany if it was possible to meet the doctor who would be performing the procedure. I wasn't sure if that was something they do, but I knew if you don't ask - you don't know. Dr. Partington aka Anderson Cooper was there, we chatted, for awhile Dr. Partington is so hot, because I am a such a big fan of Anderson Cooper, so that did it for me; I made the appointment right on the spot as well as my medical clearance pre-op two weeks later all together it was about a month before I had the procedure. Bethany, Dr. Partington, and Sidney his assistant were amazing. They went over and above to make sure I was comfortable and explained all my post op care with my boyfriend. The doctor called me himself that night to make sure I was comfortable that I have someone with me for the first 24 hours and making sure I was taking my medications and there were no issued. They called the next morning to check in. I recently had my post-op follow-up and every thing looks great. I will have my three month follow-up to show the how nicely I'm recovering. I can't speak for the individuals who've given this facility a bad name, but I can assure you; this is a very reputable place and my experience has been top notch to the highest level professionally. I truly recommend Sono Bello 110% and its Bellevue staff. They're an amazing group of doctors/nurses I've ever dealt with in the medical profession. Unfortunately, I will have to give them one star. I spoke with Lisa and she set up an appointment. They were very accommodating during the quarantine. My virtual appointment was scheduled a month in advance (May 19) at 9 am. That day came and and 2 hours after my apt time I didn't get a phone call so I didn't know what to expect and I called them. They were very apologetic and said they would have someone call me back. Nicole called me back and rescheduled me for 4pm that day. 4 pm came and went and I haven't heard from them since and it's May 21. read more

Definitely a hard sell operation going on here. I waited 30 minutes past my appointment to speak with the "consultant". I caved to the pressure and paid $8000. on my AMEX before I left, and scheduled lipo of my stomach. I was pretty desperate. I never met the Dr. until my procedure. I kept waking up during the procedure (they use a light form of anesthesia) ....it was pretty awful. 8 long years later I have a bulge on my left side where the work was done very unevenly. Don't do it. I waited to review out of laziness and shame, but when I was looking through Yelp for a New Plastic Surgeon to fix me AGAIN, it brought back all the horrible memories. I do take responsibility for this, just do your research and if it feels wrong, walk away!! read more

I had the upper arm procedure (arm reduction) and I was very pleased with the result and care I have had so far! I hated my arms for years.. they were too big. I couldn't wear certain shirts or jackets because of my arms. I would end up buying clothes two sizes bigger to accommodate arms. Even when I lost weight, my arms would stay the same from years of weight/heavy lifting. I started at size 14in arms in circumference, after three weeks, I am down to 12 inches. Before the procedure, I was giving the pain meds to help with pain during and after. I had to be given an extra dose because I was not at a comfort level but they were very accommodating. I have to say, I remember very little after that other then being at home and recovering. There was no PAIN during the procedure. I could feel the rod moving and I remember being asked to turn over or hold my arm up, but it is a faint memory. After the procedure, there was normal drainage the first 24 hours and I felt like a had a bad sunburn when I would TOUCH the area to remove the compression Jacket or rub the pain lotion on. Other than that, I had very little discomfort. I went back to work the next day. The downside(s) to the process, was how long it took. They say a few hours but plan on 6 or more. I am not complaining because I don't want the Dr.s to rush, however, I was scheduled for 2pm & didn't get home until after 8:30. This was due to other patients needing to be finished and my needing the medication to kick in. I read reviews that some people screamed during there procedure, I can tell you I was there in the room for 4 hours and heard nothing of the sort. Cost is a serious factor to consider. The website says avg $1995 per area. The pricing is based on your 'BMI" and discounts they want to give. It is a sales pitch after all. Plan to spend closer to 5K per area. That seems to be the magic number. They will boost up the price to make you think you are getting discounts, but at the end of the day, you will pay about 5K. Stomachs are considered three areas but they combine it together but it will come to about $6500 per the 'initial quote'. Don't get me wrong, the money is worth it if you have spent hundreds on fad diets, exercise classes and equipment. If you have stubborn fat that you can not lose, and you can afford this, you will be happy with it. I was told that I would not have much loose skin, but if you are someone who will, plan on spending more money to have the skin removed. One last note and most importantly, no matter what you have done...WEAR the COMPRESSION GARMENT for 8 -10 weeks constantly. Only take off for a shower. It is critical to the result process I have found. I could feel a difference when I took it off for a shower and when I wore it to sleep in. It will drive you NUTS. they only have black to send you home in, but later you can request a nude color after 4 weeks. If you don't do anything else, wear the garment despite wanting to take it off. It will become annoying at times, but if you want the right results, you need to wear it. read more

If I could give them 0 stars I would . I live 2.5 hours away, approximately 80 mile but have to take a ferry . I called the office twice hoping to get a phone consultation because I do not want to drive all that way if I don't feel like it's going to be a fit for me ....the phone operator in scheduling would not allow me to talk to anybody in the office nor would they give me any pricing. The only thing they could do was schedule me an in person consultation. Obviously they have some kind of hard selling scheme going on there. With that kind of unaccommodating behavior this is definitely not a place you would want to go! read more

Don't waste your money, go to an independent plastic surgeon who wants to see good results for their patients. During the hard sell, SonoBello will tell you whatever they think will get your money and the cost is slightly less than abdominoplasty. But the reality is that their lipo with skin excision is NO substitute for abdominoplasty. Their lipo technique left me with weird fat pockets. Their suturing skills are terrible, the surgeon let the nurse close one side of my abdomen and it left thick scar and a wrinkle/bump. I consistently voiced my unhappiness and they kept telling me it will all be fine by 6 months or we will fix it. Its been 6 months and its not better and they wont do anything to correct their poor work. I really discourage anyone from using them. read more

I had Liposuction done on upper stomach area. Now, two years later my stomach area is still numb, and I'm having problems with my stomach and digesting food, and I still have a big ball in the middle of my upper stomach, which by a doctor just eye bowling it said, it looks like the doctor jammed all your nerves in a ball, and told to take this up with my doctor to see what procedure you can do to fix this, because I look worse then before and when I workout my ads it hurt and gets bigger.i decided to call solo bella to see if they can fix this and they told me it sounds like it can be permanent nerve Damage. So I paid over 3000.00 dollar for them to give me permanent nerve damage and a stomach that I'm going to have to pay out a lot more money to get what I want and fix there mistake. I told the nurse that called me back that permanent nerve damage was not disclosed with me and if it would of be I wouldn't have went through with it. I just wanted new patients to be aware of this could happen to you and you don't want it to happen to you. Solo bella didn't offer to help me with problem or refund my money for they did a lot of damage to my health. Since they did this damage to my health I will not be going back or Recommending them to anyone. Dr. Sobrino and the staff at SonoBello Bellevue are amazing! My journey started with being greeted by the wonderful office staff, then a consultation with Kiely, who was fantastic. She really took her time to get to know me, was very thorough and answered all my questions. I am now two weeks out from my first procedure and the results already exceed my expectations and I know I'm still swollen and it will only get better! Dr. Sobrino is VERY good at what he does! If you're looking to improve your figure I would highly recommend you go see Dr. Sobrino!!! I had my second procedure and am now several weeks post-op and I am overjoyed at my results, they just keep getting better as the swelling reduces more and more! Absolutely worth every penny! The pain post-op was much less than I had anticipated and I was up and around the next day! The entire staff was wonderful and I just loved the gals working the front desk, they are so friendly and helpful, and genuinely cared about how I was doing every time I came in. Dr Sabrino and Nurse Morgan we're so amazing. They kept me calm and made the environment really fun in the OR, especially bc when I was so nervous. Worst experience with staff and overall dysfunctional office. They cancelled my appointment the day before surgery just because they "suddenly" realized I wasn't the right candidate after I had to reach out to the office to remind them to send my prescription over to the pharmacy. I realized being a person of color made a difference as well and discrimination is no doubt felt here. I would recommend spending your money elsewhere than being dehumanized here and just overall disregarded by fake people who act like they care here. Additionally, the consultant Kiely at this location is an unqualified admin staff reviewing and pricing the procedure, I mean isn't this where the doctor should play a role as well? Went in to have a procedure done on my stomach and my sides at there Belevue office , left with massive scar tissue in my stomach area that I'm having to go to a out patient physical therapy to reduce scar tissue which after several months I'm still dealing with this. I've had a separate similar procedure done 5 years ago through Dr.Darm and I should have gone back to them instead I'm so frustrated and disappointed in this doctor's work! I went to Sono Bello to get a lot of work done. I freely admit I am 73 years old. Dr. Sabrina treated me as though I was stupid in every way he could think of. He could have made me aware of his worries about doing the work I wished to have done, WITHOUT being absolutely condescending. I have never been treated this way, by a doctor nor anyone else. Needless to say, I did not get anything done. i was so angry when I left. I initially spoke with Kiehly, who was an absolute professional. At no time did SHE ever make me feel as stupid as did this doctor. I will say their offices were immaculate. read more

I had some additional questions as well as some scheduling challenges because I travel a lot for my new job. Sarah at Sonobello refused to answer my questions. Not only that she got upset when I said I was going to Athenix for a second opinion. You should get a second opinion on any procedure! Especially when you are paying so much money in cash and it is your body. There must be a problem with what they are providing if they are scared of having their potential clients get a second opinion. I encourage you to shop around and chose a provider that will answer your questions and not pressure you. This place was one step up from a used car lot. Where do I start. Yes I got my lipo and ex on May 11th which the doctor did a good job, however let me tell you about the financial part. They are the worst. At my consultation they explained to me that they would my take out a certain amount on a certain date. We were fine with that. Since day one we had nothing but issues with sonobello financial team. They gave us a different price for the ex that was given in our consultation, the day before my surgery they said they need the first monthly payment before they do anything ( which wasn't told to us) fine we paid it which is weird because I didn't even have anything done yet and we put a $500 deposit down. Now it's not even the end of May and they took another payment! Why are you DOUBLE DIPPING SONOBELLO! I spent some time doing research, trying to find the place that fit me best to have a liposuction procedure done. I went to Athenix first for a consultation. The experience I had at that consultation really did not leave me with a good feeling about the place. The staff really made me feel like they were just in it for the money. The girl that did my consultation may as well have been reading to me out of a book and really couldn't answer my questions. I then went to Sono Bello for a second opinion. I am so thankful that I did. I had a consultation with II believe her name was) Gerin, who by the way, was amazing. She was able to answer all of my questions without even blinking an eye. She also explained that she had had procedures done before. I felt kind of funny asking, but I requested to see her scars. She had absolutely no problem sharing them with me, which I really appreciated. I wanted to know realistically what I was going to be looking at later down the road. She made me feel very comfortable through the whole initial consultation. I decided I was very comfortable with Sono Bello and decided to go ahead and schedule my procedure. The level of communication was excellent with everyone I dealt with up to and after my procedure was done. I received phone calls to remind me of my pre-op appointment as well as my surgery. The day of my surgery everyone at Sono Bello was great about answering any remaining questions I had and helping to put me at ease before the procedure began. My surgeon, Dr. Sobrino was great as well. The procedure itself was a little scary at first, but everyone was so warm and helpful that it did not take long for me to relax. It has now been a week and a half since my surgery and I am SO HAPPY! I still have some swelling, but already look better than I have in years. I have gone from trying to avoid full length mirrors to stopping to admire the amazing change in my body. THANK YOU DR. I am sooooo happy I made the decision to go to Sonobello for my procedure! My confidence is back and I feel great in my own skin again! After years of sitting and working 10-12 hrs/day, not eating properly, and not having enough energy to go to the gym, I was at my heaviest and saddest. I needed a jumpstart, something to get me going back into a healthy routine again. I was originally scheduled with a surgeon in my area that came recommended. I was all booked and one week before surgery I got a call that the surgery was cancelled because the doctor was very ill and he couldn't take me for at least a few months. I had already booked off a whole month for recovery which is so hard to do when you have regular clients that depend on you. I cried that whole day. The next day I woke up and decided that was enough crying, time to do something about it! I called a few places in my area( Vancouver, Canada) and made some consults. Then the next day I was in my clinic working and the Sonobello commercial came on and even though I had heard it before it was like a light bulb went off! I just had a feeling in my gut that this was the answer! I called the next morning and right from the start I felt like they cared and wanted to help. I came in for my consult with Bethany and let me tell you this woman is awesome! She was so helpful and encouraging! I felt comfortable immediately! She stayed late for me and we sat and talked and figured it all out. I never felt like she was rushing and just trying to get the sale and get me out the door. She truly cared and that meant something to me! She even gave me her cell number in case I needed to call or text! We booked my surgery and I was so excited! This was gonna be my fresh start! My surgeon was Dr. Sobrino and he is a miracle worker! So nice and friendly (and cute ladies:)) haha. He made me feel very comfortable and safe! He explained everything very well and there were no surprises before, during, or after surgery. They are true professionals. Plus the downtime is so much less than other places! I didn't need to take any extra time off work which is amazing! I was back at work a week after and feeling pretty darn good! One of my clients was so impressed she decided to do it too:) Overall I cannot say enough good things! I feel like me again, happy, healthy, beautiful! I can't say enough how amazing my experience was with Sono Bello Bellevue. From the minute I walked through the doors everyone was so professional. Kiely who was my consultant discussed with me the Laser Assisted Lipo I wanted to have done on my stomach. She was very insightful and was able to answer all my questions and concerns. She worked with me on my scheduling and payment that worked best for me. My preop nurse was Theresa who is amazing. I had preop nerves and fears but she was able to ease my mind. She lighted up the mood by laughing and cracking jokes with me. Then Dr. Sobrino came in and let me tell you, he has a wonderful and funny bedside manner. He went over with me the entire procedure walking me through everything he was going to do. He made no promises or gave me any false hopes as to what my outcome would be. On the day of my procedure both Theresa and Dr. Sobrino came in talked to me again about what would happen and gave me some pain medicine and something to relax me. About 1/2 hr later I was in the procedure room where music was playing, Dr Sobrino was singing, asking me questions keeping my mind occupied from what he was doing. What took an hour and a half felt like a half hour and boom my procedure was done. I barely felt anything during the procedure. During the week following my procedure on a scale from 1-10, my pain was probably a 3. It wasn't unbearable. That evening Dr. Sobrino called to check up on me. I was up and moving around the following day with no problems. I went to my 1 week follow up yesterday 9/7/2018 and all I can say is my results so far are absolutely amazing. I couldn't be happier and am so excited to see what I look like at my 3 month follow up. I highly recommend Dr. Sobrino and the entire Sono Bello team who worked with me. read more

I did my procedure at the Manhattan location and the doctor was awesome the team was nice too. The only thing I did not like is the way I was treated after the surgery. Yes it is a surgery no matte how they try to slice it. It was painful at times due to parts of my body not being numb enough. There were a few times I almost jumped off the table because of that and I ended up getting some anxiety from feeling fat being burn a few times during the procedure. Once everything was well numb it was just the pulling sensation which is expected. However! After care was so painful and I feel like I did not get enough information about how to take care of myself. For one the garment you initially wear how is suppose to be very tight but I did not know that so when I took it off to take a shower and putting back on I realize I did not pay attention to what row of hook it was initially on. Not getting the right amount of compression caused me A lot of pain. I had a racing heart during my healing process along with hottish feeling couples by burning sensation in part my wound that was spreading. I called in and they told me to go to my PCM about that because that have nothing to do with the recovery and that everything was fine. Well turned out that I my wound got infected and was so PAINFUL and had pus coming out of it. In addition to that the antibiotics I was give , I was told to take them when I got home so I did. I had the worst yeast infection afterwards. What I should have done was taken them if there is any sign of infection. By the time I got a infection I had taken them along time ago. People the healing process is the most painful thing I've ever felt, child birth wasn't this bad to me, you will need help to do everything for the first week. Sleeping HA! might as well levitate, so expect that for the first week. Honestly, the first week feels like a month due to the amount of pain and discomfort I had but I understood why but it still wasn't pleasant. OH guys please get Lymphatic Massages done after, I was not told that was an option I could consider afterwards so I had to research that. I did book 6 session one every 2 days and it did make a HUGE difference. If you can get one a day that's even better but those services are pricey. What I did though, was ask a lot of questions when I went to my session and purchase the same machine on eBay they used during my sessions. Having it make a world off difference because whenever my tummy start feeling too tight I use it and soften things up and it relieve the discomfort. And it saves me money, a session was like $500 and the machine was like $240 so either way I save a lot of money there. If you do decide to go this route, watch the YouTube videos and how to use it and buy ultra sound gel to use with it vs oil. Be very careful because the infrared thingy's will burn you quick if you keep one spot too long or have it too hot. Overall, my suggestion is to do research on other places and PRICES because this isn't cheap and make sure you are mentally prepared and have help afterwards. read more

Had an 11am appointment for a consult. Got there was greeted by a very nice front desk woman. Place was clean. Filled out the paper work and was ready by 11:07. At 11:37 I decided to ask the receptionist what happened as I had an 11am appointment. It was then that she informed me they are running a "little" behind. I asked ok so when will I be seen. I was told she wasn't sure as there was someone else ahead of me waiting to be seen. I asked ok so how long do you think until get seen was told possibly noon. When I first arrived the receptionist had plenty of time to inform me they were running behind and it could be about an hour wait. But nope not a word. I had to approach her. Needless to say I decided this isn't the place for me if that is how they operate. Time is valuable and communication is key!! read more

I was very pleased with the way the staff conducted themselves. Every One was very friendly and professional. At my free consultation, my husband was "sold" because our "rep" had the procedure as well. It's really comforting knowing that you are working with someone that is genuine and has truly experienced the things they are consulting about. I just want everyone to know how ecstatic I am. "Shouting from the rooftops". Best money I have ever spent. I am beyond happy with the results. I didn't take the garment off till yesterday. Was nervous not to be able to get it back on by myself. I figured I had all day to get it back on, and boy oh boy was I shocked. Way beyond my expectations what I saw. I can't stop looking in the mirror. Each and every one I walk by. Consultation: I went in with every intention, no matter what the cost to have the procedure done. I didn't need to be sold. Back to work on the 3rd day. Tough toward the end of the day, as I do sit all day, but pain was "uncomfortable", not painful. There is not one negative thing I have to say about my experience. I am very happy with my results! I had some " MichlenMan" going on around my bra. I am now 3 weeks out. There is still some swelling, but I definitely see a difference. Starting out overweight complicated the look I was after....no problem. The staff was so polite and helpful. They were all very supportive and kind.
