Since I've been to a big brand before with a different vehicle, they still were so nice to greet me and find me in their computer and they walked out to the car and said OK we're bringing it in and a half hour later, it was all fixed, but I asked how much do I owe you and they said this is one of our services we do this we don't charge for tire repair. I told him they just made themselves a lifetime customer with that kind of service without even an appointment. I do all my own oil changes, but today was different. I've never been to a "Take 5"…read more My daughter's fiat threw a code while at a store about a half mile away from Take 5. Code reader I had said coolant level low, low pressure, leak, or failure. Yikes. Slowly drove it to auto zone and their code reader said the same. First thing to do is to add coolant as it was a tiny bit below the min level. But i worried it was something else. Asked guy at auto zone if the "Take 5" place across the parking lot from them did coolant flush/replacements. They said no. Hmmm...walked over and the guy there said sure, they do them. Had daughter drive over and she drove right in and they did the flush/replacement - code went away!! We also asked for a discount and got a small one. Noticed they give veteran's 25% off which is awesome. Really nice 3 guys there. Shoulda got names but it was may 7th about 5 pm. They washed front window, topped off our oil (using oil we bought at auto zone) and my daughter drove home without any issues! Win win over all. While I'm not a big fan of coolant flushes, this sure was cheap compared to other possible issues causing the code issue. (Fiat 500x) thanks guys!! Found a coupon for Timing Belt Replacement starting at $399.95, called to ask about it. Was told they were about 4 days behind, gave me an appointment about a week out. Was ok with that. Husband and I took off work to go to appt, found out it was at least 4 days for the actual work to get done. I was dropping off on a Friday and wouldn't get the car until Thursday is what I was told. They might have gotten it to me earlier if possible. Then was asked if we were aware of the pricing, we said we had a coupon for it to be $399.95 or so, knowing it would be a little more because that is normal. She told us it would be $1750. We asked why, was told it was a package deal and a serpentine belt and something else would be done also. They charge for each thing separately, including the labor hours, even though it is all done at one time. We asked if we could just do the coupon and they told us no, it was a package deal and it was a discount. Chris, Thank you for your response to the review. As you stated, when we were there you explained the price and why, not when the original appointment was made a week ago. Upfront pricing is always appreciated. We also did not ask for a serpentine belt or tensioner, we specifically requested to not have those. We did ask about the water pump, and did understand that would be an extra price. Would have been happy to have not had that done either if it was an option and the "coupon" price was given. I'm extremely disappointed that I even have to write a review like this…read more I recently brought my truck into this shop to have the A/C checked it was blowing warm. They told me they could not find any issues so they did a drain and recharge with dye. $600 I asked for a copy of the machine report breaking down amount removed amount put in. I was told they would email it they never did. After picking it up, I drove straight home and parked it. Today, I opened my center console and discovered that my coin holder was missing. This wasn't something loose that could have accidentally fallen out or been misplaced. It was mounted into the center console and required effort to pry out and remove. It was taken. I contacted the shop and spoke with Eric. He told me he checked the technician's toolbox and said it wasn't there, suggesting that I must have misplaced it. That explanation simply doesn't make sense given how securely the holder was installed. What's most concerning is that if someone felt comfortable removing and taking something as minor as a coin holder full of change, it raises serious questions about what else could potentially be happening with customers' vehicles and belongings. Eric suggested I file a police report and stated that their employees are "too busy to steal." I'm not looking to get anyone into legal trouble over a coin holder, but I do expect honesty, accountability, and respect for customers' property. This experience has completely broken my trust in this shop. I will not be returning for future repairs or service, and now I'm left questioning whether the work performed on vehicles is even being done properly especially since I never got the email. To current and future customers: I strongly recommend removing all personal belongings from your vehicle before bringing it here. Update June 5th it's been over two weeks since speaking with a district manager. He was able to pull up and send me the work that was done to my vehicle. I was over charged for the service "performed" he then told me I would receive a refund for the overcharge of service. I reached out to customer service about it then Nick Lee called again informing me they would refund me the over charge in another way but still nothing yet. At this point I want my money back for it all this is a joke! They take my belongings They over charge me They tell me false information Stay clear of this place
