Gets smaller and smaller every time. Ridiculous this is the portion of a dish and they forgot the give us the rice.

Overall have always loved Soong Thai. Great food and spice is on point. Hopefully tonight was a fluke. We ordered a Thai Basil Pepper Chicken and red Curry. The basil chicken was $12.95 and curry was $13.95. The portion size of the basil chicken was half of what it has been historically. I think I even got more Tom Kha then I did of the basil chicken... Updating 5/2025 - still horrible portion size and they forgot to give us our rice. Rediculous. Won't be ordering from Soong ever again which is sad bc they have always been far better than other Thai joints.

Small little gem in Ocoee. As soon as you enter, you will notice the soft lighting and Asian decorations all throughout the restaurant. The staff are so friendly and efficient. My most recent visit I ordered takeout and it only took 10 minutes. I ordered the duck with vegetables and the drunken noodles with shrimp. You have the option with different spice levels but since I had ordered lunch for my friend and I, I went with mild. The food here is so yummy, fresh, decently priced and perfectly portioned. The panang duck is to die for and so is the Tom yum soup. Order that when you make your way here! You won't regret it!

Always lovely eating here. The food is freshly made and always delicious. The service is also great and it's an intimate dining room not too big. They seem to always have a lot of people coming in for to-go orders which show how good the food is. I can always recommend this place to any friend especially for their Soong Thai fried rice and shrimp and chicken pad Thai. I've also had their red curry chicken in the past. There's plenty of parking in the free parking lot in front.

From the moment you walk in you feel the family feel behind the restaurant. Regardless if it's mom, daughter or worker they make you feel right at home. I'm a regular at this point, I start with the crab Rangoon which has a curry powder in(a taste like no other). Then on to what I choose that day from the duck to the pad Thai. Everything here is 10/10!

We ordered Thai hot and they did not disappoint. The portions in the plastic containers were a little bit bigger this time. The pad Thai was delicious and a little sweet. there was not very many pieces of squid in our Cashew Nut with squid, or the Panang curry with squid do we cooked some shrimp and added that. if you want t from here through a delivery service, make sure you order early. If they get too busy, they stop taking delivery orders through Uber eats.

If you are looking for a quick casual local Thai restaurant this place is a good option. We had the pad see ew and pad Thai. Both dishes were flavorful and large portions and dinner comes with soup. Their Thai tea is also good. Service was quick and attentative.

Great food and service.. would come again for sure. I ordered shrimp pad Thai and it was absolutely delicious.. service was quick which was a bonus.. great place

Tried the Pad Se-ew at this restaurant. Overall it was cooked well, caramelized nicely in a wok and pretty delicious. The dish came with a small salad and soup that was pretty basic. The restaurant had very traditional decor and they had awards on the wall for their food which was great to see. It was quite expensive for what it is and unfortunately I did not take a picture of the menu on this one. All I can say is it appears prices have went up.

Tried this place for the first time last night via UberEats and it was delicious! Kudos to them for also following all my notes - thank you! The chicken pad Thai was very good. The noodles weren't dried out but instead had moisture and lots of flavor. The portion was pretty big too. My partner got the panang curry with brown rice and said it was very flavorful and delicious as well. The portion looked huge. I also got the Tom Kha soup (the coconut soup). I ordered it with steamed tofu instead of chicken and it was so very flavorful. I couldn't get enough! Really enjoyed this place and I'm glad we tried it!

It took me 15 minutes to drive there and when I arrived, I was greeted by the attendant. She told me to wait a bit more, and 5 minutes later, I was able to get my order. It was bagged nicely. There were three spring rolls, which the 3 of us can enjoy one. It was crispy and enjoyable. It was nicely fried, but a little greasy. The veggies were fresh and I liked the oil aftertaste as well. The chicken Penang has soft chicken with various veggies too. It was spiced nicely to the medium level I requested. The sauce was a bit watery, but the rice helped soak it. I wish there was more rice, but it was just enough for one person. My mom's vegetarian Penang was just like the chicken, but without the meat. We also requested no tofu, so we got all vegetables. The service was nice and friendly. The restaurant is very small with limited seating area. We did see one or two people dining, but it looks like the restaurant was meant more for takeout. Relaxing music was played softly in the background and the tv was showing what was being played. It is located in the Publix plaza at Maguire, so parking wasn't an issue. I am happy to see a nice Thai takeout restaurant that is not too far from us. While the prices are a little high for takeout food, it was still great in quality and enjoyable. I will try their noodles next time, but definitely visit again for good Thai food on the go! Overall: A-

The medium spice is still my default but honestly it might be time to increase it a notch. There is a very kind and attentive male server who has been here for years, and he always makes my visit a pleasure when I dine in. I normally will do take out, but the dining room is always busy. Summary: 5.0 Food; 3.5 Service; 4 Ambiance…read more My wife and I enjoy the Thai food here about twice a year, usually with friends. The food and experience never disappoints, and we leave afterwards and say to each other, "That was good!" The food is always tasty and fresh, but on our most recent visit, the apps and entrées seemed fresher and the taste exceeded the Thai dishes we'd eaten over the past year elsewhere. Somehow, I always order the Spicy Basil, medium heat, and this time I ordered it with eggplant (for an up charge). The veggies were crunchy and the basil seemed freshly picked. The sauce was flavorful and the heat tilted toward the mild side, but additional spice options were brought to the table when I asked. My wife ordered the Sautéed Mixed Veggies, as usual, and complimented on the freshness of the veggies, the goodly amount, and the overall flavor. The summer rolls were a satisfying appetizer with a peanut vinaigrette that might have used hoisin sauce as one of the ingredients and its addition provided an overall different, but good, taste. The indoor seating is modest with maybe 10-12 booths and covered outdoor seating is also available. The tables seem to turn over fairly quickly. The exterior is also very modest, and you might drive by the restaurant without knowing it. Service is solid. Food is the star here. Thai-licious food at Thailicious!

To my horror it was the worst hibachi I've ever had; there are several takeout/express type places I would rank above this in terms of quality. The steak had no sear at all on it, everything on the plate including the veggies was bland and lacking flavor, but the biggest disappointment? The rice. It had some sort of weird flavor to it and was extremely dry. While I would go back for the sushi, I cannot recommend this place for anyone that isn't a sushi fan.

We choose to sit at the bar as it's open seating. my husband wanted the five spice chicken wings, and we were disappointed to learn that they've been taken off the menu. This is such a huge disappointment because that five spice dry rub was amazing. We ended up talking to the bartender and she said that they could do the lil sum sum (kids menu) wings naked and put the spice on the side. My husband chose to go that route (two order as there are only 3 wings an order) but thankfully, they actually tossed the wings in the spice, which was perfect. But we really do wish that they would bring back the actual full order of the five spice chicken wings as that was his go to when we went there and because that's not on the menu it may decrease the amount of time we go back now because he doesn't really care for a lot of the other menu items. I got the five spice green beans, which is one of my favorite items on the menu. I was surprised to hear that they had taken it off the menu for a while and that they had just brought it back. so glad that they did because that was the whole reason we had traveled out there and had they not been on the menu. There's a good chance we probably would've found somewhere else. I also had the Po Po Lau curry because it is another one of my favorite dishes.
