I've been here 3 times. I gave it a third try for drinks and the taste was good but it felt like it had alcohol in it at all. The food is not worth the price. The service and ambiance is very nice though!

This was the best curry I have had in a very long time . The sauce was creamy ---not at all watery---and the vegetables and chicken were cooked perfectly. The flavor was amazing ! I also really enjoyed the atmosphere---such a cool Vibe with the pillows and decor and happy hour is every day 3-6! Service was on pointe ---the server even put my leftovers in the go containers for me ! I'll be back.

This cute restaurant is great to bring big or small parties. The staff is extremely generous and greet you upon arrival and very attentive throughout the experience. We came on a Saturday afternoon around lunchtime and the restaurant was not too busy and we were able to be seated right away. The lunch special is a phenomenal option, not only from the price standpoint, but also the quantity and quality of food. It is well balanced, and will for sure. Fill you up and leave you feeling satisfied with the variety of flavors that you will try. You get an option between a soup and a salad, but honestly stick with the soup, which is a coconut cabbage combination that is absolutely phenomenal. This alone would give it a five out of five. We ordered a variety of dishes, including the drunken noodles with different proteins, which is listed as spicy, but is actually on the very mild side so if you prefer spicy, you have plenty of options to add that on just ask the server. The yellow curry was extremely well-made and very creamy and not too watery with excellent portions of protein inside . The eggplants is served spicy with an optional protein to add in and a side of rice which we shared as a table and we thought was absolutely delicious, cooked well, and absolutely colorful and appetizing for the eyes. The ambience is not too loud in the place, so it's great to have conversation to catch up with family and or old friends on a nice afternoon. Would highly suggest coming if you're exploring plumas Street in Yuba City

Such a fun local place! Passing through Yuba City, on the way to Ukiah. I ended up spending the night. Late departure from Reno, long story, construction/single lanes/pilot cars etc on highway 20, and old eyes that can't see in the dark, necessitated me stopping in Yuba City. The whole solo drive, I was dreaming of dinner, and Thai food, specifically. Directions to the hotel, took me through Plumas street. Such a cute area! Street parking, with cute shops, and eateries. Ice cream, Breck's shoes. AND Sopa Thai Cuisine! This was a sign from God! Checked in to the hotel and then got directions. The service was so great...huge seating area inside and out. Staff was small and attentive, containing guests on one half of the building. This was a Tuesday night. Everybody knew everybody! There was a birthday party of 12? This crew was on it, and everybody was happy! I had their Special Pumpkin Curry-spicy-with chicken, and Lemon Drop Martini. To die for!! The presentation was super cute with dried pumpkin strands--check out the photo. At first I thought it was chewy, but, get in there folks and stir it in. It rehydrates wonderfully with the spicy coconut imilk curry. Of course being solo, I couldnt eat it all. The to go box came with an additional container of rice! Love you all! Best last minute, unexpected incredibleness!!

From the moment I arrived, the attitude came off as rude and dismissive rather than welcoming or professional. Instead of communicating clearly or respectfully and descalating situations as bouncers should do, this specific bouncer was doing the complete opposite causing situations to escalate and make guests feel uncomfortable. Bouncers are there to deescalate situations not make situations. What makes it worse is that this kind of behavior reflects directly on the business. A bar can have good drinks, music, and atmosphere, but the first interaction people have is with the staff at the door. When the bouncers create an uncomfortable or hostile environment, it hurts the bar's reputation and discourages people from returning. I've heard the same complaints from others, which tells me this isn't an isolated issue. Management DO BETTER this is unprofessional not fair to the other bouncers and workers at your bar who are good at their job.

I'm pregnant did not get to try any drinks (next time). Water was served to us right away. I did not see a place where non alcoholic drinks were listed but asking my waitress worked just fine. Got unsweetened tea with lemon was nice. Appetizers were delicious Charcuterie board lovely apple spread and little stuffed potatoes buffalo like sauce The entrées we got Manila Clam Linguine, and Chicken Beer Adobo with Lime rice. Both were very good. Linguine was on the spicer side didn't expect that but my palette is a little different due to my pregnancy. Husband definitely wants to be back to try breakfast. My boyfriend and I got there at 1130am (made reservations) and sat in the enclosed patio because I had my puppy with me. Dog friendly patio! We enjoyed the bacon jam burger and Caesar salad. The burger was perfect and had alot of flavor to it! The Caesar salad could have had alittle more dressing but still good. I had a chardonnay and my boyfriend had some type of dark beer with peanut butter flavor (delicious!) It was very relaxing and enjoyable! Many people were dressed not too casual but classy! Next door is their tap room where you can pour your own wine or beer. Fun atmosphere. Darts and games inside. Overall I am glad we came back so I could do a proper review! They have a full bar with many specialty drinks. They also have happy hour and dinner. It's an intimate restaurant so make reservations! CHAD was our waiter and he was professional and polite! Great job! I will definitely be back! Ps. The reviews that said they don't offer water unless asked is untrue..everyone got water right away!

Conveniently located in the heart of downtown Maryville (at 1st & D St's), and next to the Chinese "Bok Kai Temple", this longstanding and well known restaurant/saloon/hotel has been in operation dating way back to 1858 when the peak of the gold rush era was thriving in California. Over the years, the upstairs hotel (a.k.a. "The Grand Hotel") was once a brothel amongst various operations before becoming a permanent hotel for guests to stay. Meanwhile the downstairs has served as a full-size bar complete with a ton of American comfort food to choose from on their extensive menu. I came here during the afternoon of Saturday 7/19/2025 at around 4:30pm. Since this was during the 25th annual "Marysville Peach Festival", there was a ton of customers and locals visiting during my visit. Surprisingly, parking was easy to find as I parked directly outside of the building. Once inside, you are immediately drawn to the nostalgic wooden interior. From the looks of it, not much has changed here over the years complete with vintage sepia chandeliers, huge brick ovens, taxidermy displays of various animals, and everything else that represented the wild wild west. Their menu is extensive and has just about all of the stick-to-your-ribs food you can ask for. This includes a ton of appetizers (poppers, fries, mozzarella sticks, etc.) as well as a nice variety of main course entrées that include sandwiches, burgers, salads, steaks, pastas, and much more. And since you're in a saloon, they offer all of the top whiskies, bourbons and brandies as well as a ton of beer on tap. Keep in mind that they are closed on Monday & Tuesday but open for business Wed/Thu and Sunday from 11am-8pm and Fri/Sat from 11am-9pm. After narrowing down what I wanted, I finally settled with their "French Dip" sandwich. This was a traditional and classic sandwich complete with their smoked roast beef w/Swiss cheese & mayonnaise on a hoagie roll with a side of Au Jus sauce. I opted with home fries as my side and a Coke to drink. I also ordered a starter appetizer which was their crispy "Chicken Tenders". Our server was very attentive as my +1 and I sat on a quieter side of the restaurant (near the windows). Total time took around 25 minutes to get our food; not a big deal considering this place was absolutely packed with customers. Overall, my French Dip was delicious and filling. They were generous with the thin sliced roast beef while there was the perfect amount of cheese. The au jus had the right amount of consistency as each bite hit the spot. However, the chicken tenders were just so-so as there was too much breading on the exterior. And considering these were $16.95 for 4 tenders, it was quite a bit on the pricier side. I don't want to knock this place too much but I did see quite a bit of flies by our table. But I do realize that some of these things are beyond their control with as busy as it was. All in all, the "Silver Dollar Saloon" is a good place for small and large gatherings. The service was excellent while we got filled up during our visit. My rating, an above average four stars.
