highly recommend sopranos in mashpee. some of the best Italian food that i've had on the cape! staff has been so friendly every time i've gone! my family and i had Lily as our server. when it came time to order, lily was so understanding, as one of my kids has a gluten allergy. she was also super efficient and thorough with her work. sopranos has a huge variety of items to order on the menu and everything looked so good. the steak tips were cooked perfectly and the mashed potatoes had just the right amount of garlic and spices added. at the end of the meal we got the sticky toffee pudding which was phenomenal, perfect for a cool summer night on the cape! one other thing to point out, is the amazing general manger kelly! every time we have come, kelly has gone above and beyond to keep this restaurant running smoothly and efficiently. she as well is very understanding and friendly. wicked great people working there! all in all we had such a great experience at sopranos in mashpee and highly recommend it to anyone looking for great italian food! read more

Have lived in Mashpee for 20 years. Soprano's continues to be our all time favorite restaurant. Wonderful meal tonight. Food is always fresh and cooked perfectly. Scallops with Risotto, Chicken Francese and Chicken Parm are some of our favorites. We always enjoy having beautiful Lilly as our server. We've been coming here for almost 10 years... Last time we were there a few months ago the food was just OK. Thought we'd give it another try last night. We were very disappointed. The red "sauce" on the eggplant parmigiana was tomato paste. Yes, actual tomato paste. The shrimp special was soupy. When we gave feedback to the server we were told kitchen staff is understaffed. No apology or offer to make it better. We ate only a few bites of our meal.... Hope they can figure it out and get back on track. read more

AmazIng just starts to describe our evening. Started as one of those crazy rainy nights but we decided to venture out and go to Soprano's since we could park close to the door and not get soaked on the way in. Quiet when we arrived and had our choice of seats and took a booth. Our server Lily was wonderful describing specials and nice to see a happy person these days even on a slow night. We had martini's which were perfectly made. My husband had a steak tip special and I couldn't decide between Bolognese and eggplant and she suggested I have the eggplant with bolognese for the sauce!! Heavenly. We treated ourself to split a chocolate cannoli with orange/cranberry cream with chocolate chips - delicious. Great surprise that we were also lucky enough to listen to a superb guitarist! Very disappointing first time experience. I've given up on looking for decent Italian food in Falmouth and Mashpee. Sopranos pastas was awful I cannot even describe the pasty taste. The food is basically reheated in microwaves and served. Everything from the Apps, Dinners and bananas foster was awful. I truly don't know how they even stay open. read more

My wife and I have been coming to Cape Cod since we were just dating in 1998. We have seen restaurants become very popular only to use their popularity as a substitute for quality food. Soprano's is 1 such restaurant. What was once an outstanding restaurant, with polite employees has become mediocre at best. Recently we went as a family party of 5 for what would turn out to be our last meal at this establishment. We had a tall blond women wait on us but it was us who did most of the waiting. She was rude to my mother-in-law when she asked her what the soup of the day was. She simply shot back, "It's on the menu." Even if it was, which by the way it wasn't, she should have known immediately. She grabbed the menu from my father-in-law to find it and was embarrassed when she couldn't find it and then told us that "there is no soup of the day." The appetizers were served lukewarm. The portion sizes have dropped but the prices remain the same. And when the entrees arrived, she asked us to pick up our appetizer plates and hold them until she was done putting the entrees down. She checked on our meals 0 times and on our drinks only once at the end of the meal. As for the food itself, no matter what you order I hope you like balsamic vinegar. We ordered 2 risotto dish, 1 fish dish, and 1 chicken Parm and all 4 of us complained about the taste. We might as well have been speaking to a brick wall. Restaurants at Cape Cod are like roller coasters and Soprano's is a forgettable restaurant on the way down. read more

Long wait which we knew and were understanding of but instead of allowing us to wait for the table they essentially forced us out with their rude attitude. Simply because we had a large group. Without customers they have no business. Wish they'd realize that. They should have just said they couldn't accommodate us rather than being mean. We noticed some poor reviews recently and felt the need to respond. In fact this is the first review I have ever added to Yelp. Terrific food! My wife will only eat Chicken Parmesan here. We like to order it "crispy with extra sauce." The homemade fusilli is amazing, not too soft, nice and chewy. The bread they serve, although commercial, is warm, soft, chewy, and full of flavor. The drinks are just right in amount and perfectly made. We have taken large groups to Sopranos often with great success. The attentive staff is always ready to modify our orders to our varying needs. Yes, the service can be slow at times, especially when it is busy, which is often. (Best to make a reservation.) But isn't dining out supposed to be a slow enjoyable experience? For us, Soprano's is our favorite dining experience in this area. When we go south for the winter we miss our Soprano eating experience. When we return in May it is our first stop for a truly enjoyable dining experience! read more

It was our anniversary and my husband picked up our meals. My linguine with clams in a 'white garlic sauce', had no sauce whatsoever. The noodles were so overcooked they reminded me of canned chicken noodle soup. I tossed it. We will not be ordering or going there again. read more

I've been coming here for 15 years and now I'm pretty much done with it. The noise level is very loud and they jam everyone in on top of each other. The wait staff is very nice. The time from order to delivery is horrible. Waited 45 minutes for the food. The pasta was like mush. My wife's food was warm, not hot after all that waiting. Their prices for wine and drinks are stupid. $10.00 for a glass of wine when the bottle sells for $10.99 retail. $12.00 for the smallest glass of Dewar's I've ever seen. I don't mind being charged those prices for good food and a reasonable pour, but that's not the case. They have become greedy and don't care about their product. read more

My wife and I have been to Sopranos several time, and the food is always top notch. There Veal Parm, and especially the Linguini and Clams are to die for. They have a good outdoor dining setup with contact tracing. Service is not "fast" but very acceptable. Soprano's is our choice for Italian on Cape Cod. read more

I have never posted a negative review, but hopefully a teachable moment for the new Falmouth location. My family (party of 9) called and made reservations for 6pm outside. This was earlier than we would have wanted, but were told that would be necessary to sit outside, understandable. When we arrived, the manager/senior hostess, looked at our family and says we don't have anything outside-only inside. While we were disappointed, we were hoping to try the new owners, as we were frequent happy customers of the Casino Wharf-and said fine. Once we are taken to the table inside it is wedged together, can't help but think it was intentional as the woman was not unhappy when we ultimately decided to leave. The night was saved as we took our $800 dinner tab with us to another wonderful restaurant in town. I look forward to the opportunity to change this review to a positive one in the future but my advice to this new ownership is to not judge a book by its cover! I do have to give a positive shout out to the valet team and young hostess on Saturday night, they were great. read more

Stopped here to grab and go at 9 pm, we had a long day and were on the road and wanted to get something yummy to take home. First time trying. Ordered a few items and they said 35 to 40 min. So we said sure, wasn't a lot open and places were closing so we felt our window was closing. We get a call back 20 min later, "your order is ready, we put a rush on it for you" wow, what service and brought our meals home, a 25 min ride. Still got and delicious. Chicken Florentine with lobster and a veal Parm and Arancini app. Of course we couldn't eat all that food so late because the portions are giant. Delicious food and great service! read more

Sopranos is fantastic for traditional Italian fare. Portions are generous and house chianti is excellent. The shrimp Jennifer is my favorite dish. Eggplant rollatni appetizer is large enough for an entree. It's a little dark inside but the outside patio is a nice option. Never disappointed! read more

I would recommend this place to anyone who loves fresh Italian Food. I ordered the Bucatini Bolognese. It was delicious and fresh. My pasta was very fresh and tasted amazing! The bread came right out of oven. They say they make their bread and pasta fresh daily, and you could definitely taste it. My sister ordered the lasagna and loved it. It was the first time in a while I have seen her clear her whole plate at a restaurant. The service was also very good. The price was pretty good. We plan on coming back next year on out annual trip to Cape Cod. Overall I would recommend this restaurant. read more

We went Wednesday night. Made a reservation for six. Only two other tables in the resterant. The worst service I've ever seen. Now everyone has a bad day, but this server keep disappearing into the kitchen. It took twenty minutes for drinks, half hour for apps. And she never took a plate back. We left without ordering dinner. Awful.... Never again... I was embassesed for the hostess. read more

The most rude service. Monday after Christmas, tried to make a reservation for a large group plus two children in high chairs. They told us 7:30, made the reservation at 6:30. We said fine. We got there early to get drinks while we wait, and we were very unwelcome. The hostess was rude and making mean faces at us while we were trying to wait for our table to be ready. We ordered drinks with the bartender but she wasn't able to get them to us even after 30 minutes of waiting. After a rather mean experience with the hostess when she walked by us we decided within ten minutes that we needed to leave and go elsewhere. I don't think we would have gotten anything to our table until 8:30. Of course everyone is short staffed right now, but it costs $0 to be kind. And when a hostess is rude, that gets reflected on the waitresses tip. As someone who works in the food and beverage industry, they could have done a lot better.
